I like that each lead you enter you can update the status on, it helps to keep track of each lead accuartely.
It's hard to keep track of people who have responded back to you in your normal inbox, in Nutshell - you have to go back and update their status yourself, which is time-consuming and hard to remember manually.
Prospecting new leads, and the benefit is that each customer can be kept track of and emailed out certain templates easily in Nutshell.
The ability to input leads and meetings.
I am not sure at the moment. It works ok
Nutshell provides a platform to track Prospects and allows our Management team to track our progress as well.
Many aspects of Nutshell are very interface-friendly. The balanced focus on visuals and data ranks it among other heavy-hitter CRMs, yet at a fraction of the cost. As an employee that wears multiple hats in a small business (marketing, sales, operations), I can honestly say that this platform has a significant amount of potential (and presently does a good job of everything as advertised). Perhaps the best (and most important) quality of NS is their customer service. It's always easy to get ahold of competent, friendly support staff who make you feel incredibly valued as a client.
Nutshell does, however, have room for improvement in two main areas. First, the platform could benefit from a bit more customizability from the front-end user perspective. For example, the inability to tailor lead sheets and lead intake forms (pop-up window) is frustrating and slows business down. One of NSs main advertising points is simplicity, yet lead sheets easily overwhelm our sales staff as so much data is presented, and for us, much of it is needless. Sure, this will be different for every business, but adding modular structuring (similar to the home screen) would knock NS out of the park! The second area of improvement is the rate and consistency of data updates. It often takes hours for our web-hooked leads to come through (not good), and sometimes a day or two for data to sync across the system (e.g. business type, last email sent, etc.).
Nutshell does solve many problems and obstacles for our business. First, it has provided an easy way to focus and collaborate on our leads/sales funnel (the lifeblood of any company). It also provides a visually wonderful way to pull up a customer file and find their data quickly. The second primary benefit it has provided is the ability to change and maintain our vendor contact information (we have a ton). And finally, the forecasting/data information provided is awesome and incredibly helpful!
Easy to use tool with good pricing models. Designing pipelines was never this smooth, and a plus point is the quick customer support.
Forecasting is challenging to build up every month. It is primarily designed for one-time deals and not recurring revenues generated by the company. The Nutshell API could be better. The dashboard doesnt show the won leads of the current fiscal year.
Using it as a database for contacts. Getting through leads and setting up a sales funnel with it to help colleagues get an overview of their leads.
Nutshell's user-friendly interface is easy to follow.
The map function isn't always accurate. Sometimes it just picks up an address's city, which doesn't help visualize specific territory coverage.
Nutshell helps prevent leads from falling through the cracks.
The interface is very easy to use and navigate around.
Email integration is horrible and not pretty at all. Website form integration is bad as well, and we couldn't find a way to round-robin assign and route leads.
We needed a CRM to track leads and our leads pipeline. It has made this somewhat easier for leads I manual enter.
I like that I can filter my view to the micro-level i.e. by date, pipeline, etc.
The downloaded app on my computer makes me log in every time, and I'd rather it autofill.
I am figuring out the patterns and trends around lost leads.
Ease of use, the CRM isn't necessarily super complicated to use.
Emailed scheduled "sets" of emails en masse to multiple people can't be done which is just silly, merging/unmerging can be frustrating
Over time the CRM has been easier and easier to use.
I like how intuitive Nutshell is, how it efficiently and effectively syncs and pulls in data
I don't like several things, most notably the inability to get a reminder for a task of 5 minutes or less. I also don't care for how duplicates are merged, where the new info is superseded by the older record in a new record. In my field, people change positions and facilities constantly and when I add the new info, it should take precedence, or both should appear, with the new info at the top.
I started using Nutshell for the first time when I came to this company so it is just another CRM to me. This question seems to be for someone who was not using it then started while at the same organization.
This CRM provides great features for the team to stay focused and provide surface-level details on where to improve.
One of the main frustrations is the update schedule they seem to have. More often than not the system is completely unusable the last day of the month as updates roll out. While I love the features they're releases it has caused issues closing key sales.
Overall Nutshell does a decent job of being customizable to our sales method and keep the team on track.
Nutshell is very intuitive! We didn't need a huge CRM, we needed something we could tailor to our needs and Nutshell fit the bill. The customer support has been outstanding as well. A few minutes on the phone with a team member and what you thought was impossible is now part of your daily routine.
Bulk tagging is missing, I wish we could bulk tag multiple people within a company at one time
Multiple line CRM. We are a rep firm that manages many different products, we needed to be able to pull and sort by various groups of people. Nutshell allows us to do that but getting all the data in took much longer than anticipated.
I like the "edit-ability" of Nutshell ad the user interface is pretty friendly.
I think the activity/event calendar can be expanded on a it. It would be great to be able to schedule activities in a monthly/weekly calendar interface similar to Google Calendar.
Nutshell is an important aspect of cross-departmental coordination and it helps team members go through processes.
We have many contacts (hundreds of thousands) to deal with but a relatively small sales team (<10). Nutshell's pricing and flexibility is what we needed.
The reports could be more detailed. Sometimes the main information doesn't stand out enough.
We scaled our sales team from 2 to 10 persons with Nutshell, optimizing our processes along the way.
Ease of seeing overview of recent activity
Overall I don't have much to say negative
We have utilized it for tracking recruits, onboarding and offboarding. It has been useful in maintaining records, notes and scheduling for all of our team so "balls don't get dropped."
I like the that the platform doesn't feel loaded down with a bunch of features that I'm not using. It's straightforward and streamlined and presents the information easily.
I'd like to see improvements in the mobile app, specifically in logging activities. I also wish that the funnel feature was available to free users.
We're keeping track of all of our conversations and deal flow. Our sales cycle is very long (12-18 months or longer) and it's difficult to keep track of all of the conversations without this tool.
Customized sales process allows us to better fit our procedures. Global contact list for the company has allowed us to eliminate duplicate or secret lists, keep everyone on the same page easier. Great for checking before meetings with clients so that you can stay knowledgeable about recent proposals or contacts made by other people.
The client/company pages have an area you can view leads for the company. It is too small to view important information and sometimes sorts in unhelpful ways. This could be helpful if it were more usable. Also, if something isn't tied to a lead correctly then it ties to all leads for that client - it can sometimes be confusing and I don't know how to fix it afterward. Lastly, you can watch leads (very helpful) but there is not automatic watch option. It would be good for our company if we could setup preferences for certain leads that someone could auto-watch it based on criteria. For us, our managers and admin would auto-watch leads made within their teams. Right now they have to look for new leads regularly and sign up to watch them individually. The person creating the lead can't even assign them to watch it.
Before Nutshell, everyone tracked client contact information separately. We had no true company contact list. Changes to client information could be slow to update throughout the company. Now everyone sees the same information and anyone can update it if they know a change needs to be made.
Able to be on the same page as my whole team.
To give a fair response, I will have to think about it.
Tracking individuals who are interested in serving with us.
Removing/Merge duplicate contacts & Company
Not all the features are user-friendly.Specially when its come to upload contact details. Not support our PBX ( Grandstream)
Very Useful for our contact center, and easy to calculate there monthly target,
Easy navigation. Great reporting system.
Setting filters is not as easy as one may think. Easy navigation for setting filters would be very beneficial to the A/E.
Tracking activity is much easier.
The layout of the product is very easy to use. It is very clear and efficient to use once you know how to work the product, however it is complex enough to do everything that we require and give us pivotal data.
I would prefer if it could be integrated with the other systems that we use at our company, however it has functioned perfectly as a back up as our other system has failed us a lot in the past! I don't have much to complain, it crashed a few times and it was slow to get back running, but since that episode there was no issues.
We are learning how to target our users more efficiently- our marketing team use it a lot. It is perfect for our customer dev. team and tracking our communication with our users.
