I love that they introduce voicenotes and huddles. That was not apart of the platform 3 years ago and it has now made life very easy. I also love that it has a bunch of integrations.

Currently, I do not have any complaints.

This is how my team and I communicate instantly since we work in a virtual environment. I love that it saves all my messages and I can scroll back to messages that I sent almost 3 years ago.

In my previous three organizations, I have been using slack for nearly a decade. Currently, through Slack Huddle, it is possible to enhance video conferencing.

I can't afford to despise Slack, with it's introduction of video conferencing it beats all the other BIM tools.

Instant messaging and chat is the main benefit that I have been enjoying all along before video conferencing was introduced.

I loved Slack to discuss important touchpoints and collaborate with team members and the best part is that we can use it on mobile as well and feels very friendly to use along with integrations like Workast which makes it easy to follow-up on tasks

Pretty much on point. Does the job well. Good team collaborative app to use in everyday tasks but the app integrations are a little difficult to understand

Slack helped to coordinate with our software teams to get our work done even in a remote environment. We use an automation tools to monitor crashes on firebase, Collaborate with teams and use integrations like Workast to manage tasks to improve work efficiency

It's a great way to break down silos of information across a company, as well as providing more ways of being social in a remote environment. I especially like the option features to organize channels into categories. This makes it much easier for me to track the most important information for my role.

It can be distracting, and requires extra effort to create norms and expectations for communication. New hires are not always comfortable with the tool and need help learning how to get the most out of it, without feeling overwhelmed.

As a great tool for internal communication, both 1:1 and in groups, it enables my email to be mostly focused on external clients. That really helps me "sort the noise" in my email and prioritize external communication easily.

Ever since high school, I have been using Slack when it didn't have video conferencing capabilities. I like that it makes it possible to create unlimited communication channels at no added cost.

Kudos to the vendor for incorporating video conferencing tools - It is now flawless.

I relish a lot with Slack, at workstation and from home. I like that it allows me to send large files online, improve team collaboration and in turn increase ROI. Video conferencing via Slack huddle is another thing that I gain.

Slack is the backbone of BIM in my organization. It help me send large files online. In addition, it makes it a breeze to carry out video conferencing.

No major dislikes, just a few issues with the platform reloading on start up. That can be fixed in settings, other than that, the platform runs very smoothly with no problems.

Call quality could be improved, but it's ok

It allows me to chat with my team, who work remotely and video conference quickly as needed. I also am part of several Development groups with my peers.

The collaborative nature is definitely the most likable feature in Slack.

Refresh rate can be a bit slow at times.

Logging in can be a bit of a pain for non PC or Mac users

It's very user friendly, you can also find information and tutorials easily. The integrations, such as Lessonly is outstanding since employees can receive notifications from Lessonly without opening the platform.

It can be quite pricy to purchase. The free version has great features though. Also, sometimes the notifications via email don't work sometimes but everything else works fine.

Having clients from different parts of the world can be challening but Slack is an app that several people are familiar with and it's popular, meaning it's an app that we can use as part of our communication.

When I copy paste text from another platform to Slack, the emojis get converted to text which I strongly dislike and find irritating

We use it for team meetings and collaborations. Slack is also a great place to create channels for particular teams like 'Sales', 'Marketing' etc where we can communicate things to the right people without disturbing everyone on the team.

Slack makes it easier to be intouch with my colleagues and to give and get updates from the things that we are working on. It is also a good platform whenever I need to get support from my colleagues.

Although it is easy to naviagte and use the platform, I need to be extra careful when using it because once I send something, I cannot edit it or undone it anymore.

Because of slack, I can easily report things to my colleagues whenever there is an issue that needs to be escalated at work. And since it is real time, I also get a response easily. It is also easy to track my messages and the replies to my messages because of the thread.
