Slack is the top choice for teams to communicate. It provides a virtual workspace that helps teams maintain open communication in a business environment. With Slack, users can host voice and video calls with up to 15 participants and even screen share with a desktop app, empowering better user interaction. Slack also supports options for private and group sessions, and one of its best features is Slack Huddles–an informal meeting space that lets you directly talk to your channel where you can share screen side by side with your team. The platform integrates well with Dropbox, Google Drive, and Trello as well.

How instantaneous I can communicate with my coworkers and super easy to share docs/worksheets
Would like to control the sounds for notifications a bit more. Seem to be missing them if I step away for a moment. Just not loud enough.
Haven't experienced any super delaying issues.
Very easy to integrate monday.com updates. Also we can easily create n number of groups for communication purpose.
Nothing much to complain about since I find it useful for everyday business communication.
Business communication is made very easy via Slack, also project updates can be easily integrated through the apps available.
If we had to summarize, we'd say that we like the way Slack brings people together. There isn't one thing that does it. My team has realized that there are many detail-level design decisions that make Slack a very high quality product. Online communication in real time has been around for a looooong time. But Slack adds a certain polish to the UI that makes it a much more usable and enjoyable product.
There's not much we dislike, but if we were to have our way it would be easier to access audio or video conferencing. The online communication is great when you're just typing, but with a distributed team we really need audio and visual as well.
My team is scattered over 5 states, so the business problem we are solving is simply real-time team communication. Slack helps us do that whether the person be 1000 miles away, or 10 feet away in the office.
It works in real-time, and that keeps us connected despite the different time zones of each of us. Because we are a team in other countries, it's super respectful of the scope of privacy. Notifications can be perfectly organized and delimited. The ability to sort and prioritize messages and share files or paths. It is excellent.
When they update the app, it takes almost a day to work again 100%
We solve queries about ongoing projects on the spot. We also organized by teams, so we set up different communication groups. It gives us quick access to a highlighted message.
What I like best about Slack is its incredible ability to streamline communication and collaboration within our team. The platform offers a user-friendly experience that simplifies how we work together. The organization of conversations through channels is a game-changer. We can create channels for different projects, teams, or topics, which keeps discussions organized and accessible. It makes it easy for us to find specific conversations quickly.
I have to say that I haven't found anything to dislike about Slack. The platform has been incredibly effective and user-friendly for our team's needs. It has streamlined our communication and collaboration, making it a vital part of our workflow. Whether it's the organization of discussions, file sharing, integration capabilities, or the accessibility of the platform, Slack has consistently met and exceeded our expectations.
The fact that Slack is accessible on both desktop and mobile devices is incredibly convenient. It allows us to stay connected and productive, whether we're in the office or on the go. We had trouble with other tools that only worked on the web and were not accessible on mobile devices, we had to be on desktop all the time to access team conversations. Slack has allowed us to have a more seamless commuication across teams and we're all very satisfied.
It is easier to reach out your work team, shows you the unread messages in one tab so you don't have to go to every unread message, and it is very straight forward to use
Sometimes it glitches and you have to close it and open it again so it can work properly
The ease of reaching out to people outside your working team/ office, how easy it is to call people and how easy it is to use
Slack is simply amazing. It has provided us with a robust and reliable communication platform that has transformed the way we collaborate within our team. The organization into thematic channels makes navigation and finding relevant conversations easy, and the search capability is a true blessing when we need to track down old messages or files. The app integrations are great and have allowed us to easily connect our favorite tools, enhancing our overall productivity. I would definitely recommend Slack to any team looking to improve their communication and collaboration.
Slack is an incredible platform that has significantly improved our team's efficiency and communication. It's hard to find any faults with it, to be honest. The interface is user-friendly, the functionalities are robust, and the integration options are extensive. It has brought our team closer together, even when working remotely, and has streamlined our workflow in ways we never thought possible. I can confidently say that there's nothing I dislike about Slack. It has become an indispensable part of our daily operations.
Slack has been a game-changer for our team's communication struggles. Before implementing Slack, our internal communication was often scattered and chaotic, resulting in misinterpretations and missed deadlines. However, with Slack's intuitive interface and powerful features, we've managed to streamline our communication channels effectively. The ability to create different channels for various projects and departments has helped us keep our discussions organized and on track. Slack has undoubtedly contributed to fostering a more collaborative and productive work environment for us.
Slack provides full customisation in templates and provides a lot of features which are organization friendly and user friendly.
Sometimes it takes a little bit more time in retrieving data from server
We don't need to switch on tabs and platforms.
The video and audio quality is excellent. We can clearly see and hear each other.screnn sharing is perfect. More user friendly and making calls much safer with slack
I have been using slack for almost 2.5 years but did not find anything that affected my presentation
Ease of use in conferencing Instant messaging, screening and collaborative whiteboard
Slack's group team chat is my favorite part of this messaging platform. Team group chat encourages real-time communication, which makes it possible to reach colleagues across my organization instantly. The nature of chatting also works in favour of this style of communication , by making it possible for a recipient of a chat message to respond when most comfortable, or even respond while being engrossed in some other activity. The addition of the Channel feature , has only made group team chats a lot better. By making it possible to organize conversations by projects , departments or teams. Thereby ensuring that there is a home for every form of convcersation we may want to have.
I seldom rely on Slack's video communication provisions known as Huddles to communicate. This is because it lacks advanced features like background noise cancellation , background video images or optimized bandwidth suppression and so on, which are provisions that I have come to associate with standard video conferencing tools.
Slack makes everyone within my organization, to be only a message away from me and I find this very important for team productivity. Slack's channel provision makes our conversations very organized , making it easy to locate or reference specific conversations in future.
The features it gives to make the communication smooth and also the way its integrated with our crm
There is nothing which I disliked about it
It's helping us ti interact and communicate faster with my teammates and to share the business related information within the team by using different channels
It's easy to contact colleagues on Slack. Really ergonomic and easy to learn how to use it. It can easily become an organization's database and workflows and other addons just make the work day go smoothly. It's also easy to create addons. You cannot go through a day without using this app.
Slack notification may trigger a mini heart attack.
Easy to find everything, you can use slack search as internal google.
I love using slack for teams under our organisation as all in house communcation can be recorded and kept track of. Gone are the days of using emails for csimple communication and chat apps, for communication between employees and teams. Slack is the way to go.
Takes a while to get used to the ways in which slcak functions. But once you master it, theres n o going back.
Our company was facing the issue of keeping track on internal communication without having to open emails all the time. Slack solved this
I love how easily you can create channels on Slack and communicate with different teams when needed. I love how you can customize your theme, and it is very easy to use. We use it most of the time. It can be easily integrated across customer support apps.
Some features may be restricted by the admin like emojis.
It help communicating with support channels easily so high service level rating can be attained.
I like that I can have the whole team using Slack but also have protected channels and different channels for sharing information on a variety of topics. I also like that there is a Trello built in which allows easy access to our more visual "to-do" lists while we can still discuss and share files easily on Slack. I also like that I get to search my messages to access earlier messages or files. The editing feature also reduces to need to send multiple messages to correct spelling mistakes and reduces confusion! Finally, I like seeing who is online or not and who has their notifications off so I have a better idea of when to expect a response.
I dislike that the call quality can be low. Otherwise, it's great to have quick calls and increases efficiency in team communication- especially for quick check-ins and messages that don't need to be an email!
I am building an online work environment that is more similar to being in an office. For example we'll have work related channels but also a 'random' channel in which colleagues can share gifs, interesting news or non-work related information. It allows for both formal and informal communication.
Slack Provides Messeging that it makes slack to communicate with the team in a real-time. as well as Slack allows you to create a channel for you team, By using slack you can share a file in a real-time.
Slack provides customization that can be overwhelming for the new users. slack provides a free plans but for the advanced features it charges a some sort of amount.
Salck Provides you free Messeging in a real-time with free plans, they don't charge for a simple messeging, as well as we can create a channels for our team or a project that makes it better experiace for the user.
It makes interacting with other departments and teams much easier
It may not be ideal for an organization with frequent structure changes as access to interacting with different individuals may or may not be granted immedaiately.
None so far
It has all we need in terms of business use.
Nothing. Ever since, slack has been prompt and effecient.
Effective communication and easy navigating interface.
Slack is the best tool in modern times for messaging, calling, and video chatting. We can create workspaces in Slack and communicate our ideas with a particular team or whole employers in the company. We can also use emojis to messages in the workspace.
I do not have any dislikes for the Slack as of now. It is working superbly on both PC and phone. I feel like if you market this application well, it would reach heights.
I am working at SkillCat. We use this application for updating wins and reviews of our company. We also post birthday wishes for every person to make them feel special on that day.
The best app for internal communication and sharing files and data and can be used as a memory for daily work processes
Themes. Too less themes and very basic too
We used it for internal communication I.e for one-o-one and for group chats. So it was like our project's memory.
