"A friendly and elegant CRM solution"
What do you like best about Nutshell?

The elegant simplicity of the interface. The quick responses we get to our feedback and the willingness to listen to their customers and their needs. We were previously using Highrise and as that tool was not being developed, we searched for an alternative. We quickly realized that there is a lot of inelegant bloatware out there but nothing truly powerful for SMEs. We loved that Nutshell covers all the basics, helps you monitor your metrics, is easy to use for our sales managers and is affordably priced. It's not perfect, of course, but we have faith that the Nutshell Team is hard at work tweaking and making important improvements that will make it an even more useful and productive tool.

What do you dislike about Nutshell?

Limited email file handling Limited storage capability Skimpy support for products and pricing Limited report exporting capability Weak collaboration toolset Basic but incomplete not great mobile application

What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?

We're trying to make our sales managers as productive as possible so that we can serve our clients better than ever before. Nutshell is the platform we chose to add visibility and transparency to the entire commercial team. The elegance of the solution means that migration was fairly quick and painless. The friendly interface reassures reps who want to go out and be with customers instead of being mired in administrative details that don't add much value to customers. Nutshell is helping us become a quicker more agile company and is the central tool in our commercial strategy

"Nutshell CRM: It's simple, powerful, and amazing"
What do you like best about Nutshell?

I love how simple it is - it took no time at all to become relatively proficient. I also feel that for the price, it is probably the most cost effective solution out there. The value is 10/10 and unless an organization has some pretty high end needs, I think that the product is a good fit for the overwhelming majority of small businesses. I'm not sure if it would meet the needs of a mid size organization - but it's definitely worth evaluating. I'm thankful that it was recommended to me by a current Nutshell user.

What do you dislike about Nutshell?

The only company that they can "recommend" for additional support/guidance is their parent company. I had to find a Nutshell CRM expert on my own to help implement some things that I couldn't figure out by myself. I wish they offered paid, hourly support or could recommend someone who offered smaller monthly packages.

What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?

Nutshell's VisitorIQ product is amazing and helps provide insight as to who's visiting our website. It also allows me to handle email drip campaigns effortlessly. The product is well designed, fast, and makes a lot of sense very quickly (it doesn't require some extensive training.)

"Nutshell - Great for some, but not for all"
What do you like best about Nutshell?

Nutshell is a simple CRM tool that does not have the features many business have come to rely on, but it provides a cost-effective option for small businesses with a sales volume and client base that requires a good set of functions for a good price and just don't need all the bells and whistles of Salesforce. It integrates nicely with Google Mail, and frankly, even though Salesforce is better, I think I prefer the integration between Nutshell and Google Mail better than the one between Salesforce and Outlook. The simplicity offered by Nutshell is a plus for smaller businesses that sometimes need sales people to 'figure it out' on their own.

What do you dislike about Nutshell?

I want the extra functions a more full-featured CRM offers, because they help me to pull just the accounts that have the status, location, and attributes I am interested in now, so I can make a call list focused on the specific goals I have for today. Nutshell offers plenty of sorting options and is easy to export from, but I move more quickly and am more productive if I can use Salesforce.

What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?

Time is money, and a CRM that saves money will probably provide less efficiency, but I want a good balance between the data I need available to me in the forms that help me use my time well and a cost that fits in a budget that also needs to cover multiple other needs and priorities. On balance. Nutshell delivers that. It's a good choice for people that can afford 'good' and can work with 'good' until a business can afford 'great'.

"Most user-friendly CRM out there"
What do you like best about Nutshell?

Its intuitive user interface. I've used many CRMs previously such as Salesforce, Highrise, SugarCRM, PipelineDeals etc. and Nutshell is by far the easiest to use. It's been a big difference for us as it doesn't matter how powerful your CRM is, as your staff won't use it if it's clunky. We've found that the data entered and stored in Nutshell to be much more rich than that which was stored in our previous, larger CRM platforms.

What do you dislike about Nutshell?

Nutshell's pricing model is frustrating. To get some key sales-management features such as advanced reporting (i.e. pipeline report) or multiple process types/milestones, you have to take a significant jump in price up (double) to the Pro version. If you're solely managing a sales team or a small team, it might make sense, but if you're looking to use this company-wide (i.e. for managing customers in addition to prospects), the cost can become prohibitive to pay the Pro rate for a bunch of light users (anyone outside of sales).

What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use Nutshell to track our sales pipelines and forecasts as well as all of our communications to customers. We've enjoyed that Nutshell integrates with so many complementary platforms so that it is easy to connect all customer information in one place. For example, we've been able to sync our gsuite, PandaDoc proposals and Zendesk support communications all in one place.

"Great CRM for Small to Medium Sized Businesses"
What do you like best about Nutshell?

From day one (we've been using nutshell almost as long as they've been around), I was impressed by the level of customizability. Many CRMs force you into one method or process, but nutshell gives you choices that help you customize it to your company's processes. They have a fairly robust API that is great for automating the import of leads from other systems. Their round-robin distribution fairly distributes the leads and is one feature that keeps us with them. The universal search is fast and easy to use (though, if you have garbage data it will make things difficult). I think the pricing is very competitive and we feel it is a great value.

What do you dislike about Nutshell?

I think they could use a huge UI/UX improvement. They've maid some improvements over the years, but the site looks dated and there are generally many clicks to get from one step to the next (again, they've made improvements, but it's time for a major overhaul in my opinion). Another interesting thing that I'm not a huge fan of is that you can't apply custom processes to different teams. We have inside and outside sale teams and each one uses a different process. While I mentioned the ability to customize the process being a huge pro, I need to take that one step further and allow me to customize it per team.

What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our previous system wasn't robust enough to handle multiple teams and organize them well. For us, the system provides a flexible CRM that helps us track and report on various activities and pipelines.

"Simple Yet Effective CRM (With Room for Improvement)"
What do you like best about Nutshell?

Many aspects of Nutshell are very interface-friendly. The balanced focus on visuals and data ranks it among other heavy-hitter CRMs, yet at a fraction of the cost. As an employee that wears multiple hats in a small business (marketing, sales, operations), I can honestly say that this platform has a significant amount of potential (and presently does a good job of everything as advertised). Perhaps the best (and most important) quality of NS is their customer service. It's always easy to get ahold of competent, friendly support staff who make you feel incredibly valued as a client.

What do you dislike about Nutshell?

Nutshell does, however, have room for improvement in two main areas. First, the platform could benefit from a bit more customizability from the front-end user perspective. For example, the inability to tailor lead sheets and lead intake forms (pop-up window) is frustrating and slows business down. One of NSs main advertising points is simplicity, yet lead sheets easily overwhelm our sales staff as so much data is presented, and for us, much of it is needless. Sure, this will be different for every business, but adding modular structuring (similar to the home screen) would knock NS out of the park! The second area of improvement is the rate and consistency of data updates. It often takes hours for our web-hooked leads to come through (not good), and sometimes a day or two for data to sync across the system (e.g. business type, last email sent, etc.).

What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?

Nutshell does solve many problems and obstacles for our business. First, it has provided an easy way to focus and collaborate on our leads/sales funnel (the lifeblood of any company). It also provides a visually wonderful way to pull up a customer file and find their data quickly. The second primary benefit it has provided is the ability to change and maintain our vendor contact information (we have a ton). And finally, the forecasting/data information provided is awesome and incredibly helpful!

"This is the CRM for me and my Clients!!"
What do you like best about Nutshell?

Thank you G2 Crowd and Nutshell. What an amazing, intuitive and clever CRM. It's what I've been looking for. I'll be calling today to discuss signing myself and my Clients up. What great value. Happy to provide a testimonial in six weeks time, so please follow up : ) Have a fantastic day! Deb Bowey Phenomenal Results Automation Marketing.

What do you dislike about Nutshell?

There's been a couple of things to stump me so far, but considering I only started yesterday and have nearly finished setting up the system - that's more than ok. I'm sure your clever team will have the solutions, you guys are on the ball : )

What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?

My vision is to provide a holistic automating system which takes care of Branding, Marketing, Social Media, Client and Lead Nurture and Sales / System Automations. 1. Most business's Online presence do not do their brand or name justice. It lets them down and costs them sales. Of late I have noticed something disturbing! Many Marketing Companies who offer Web Facelifts; own Websites themselves with Broken-links, Spelling and Grammar errors, poor Functionality and lack-lustre Copywriting. Essential and basic marketing devices like a 'Call to Action' and placement of Company phone number and email address on the top RH Side of every page is often missing. So, they either don't really know what they are doing or are so busy working in their business that they have neglected their own Marketing and Online presentation. Sadly, it is generally the latter - and any Advertising Company that doesn't recognise that their own Website is their best Portfolio Example is missing a goldmine of opportunity. As a litmus test it is safe to assume that if they can't produce a quality site for themselves - they may not be the right fit for you. Combine clever SEO infused soft toned Copywriting, multiple layered Marketing techniques, an attractive Design, Functionality, quality Logos and Graphics and you create the 'Perfect Storm!' An avalanche of enquiries and sales! 2. However most Business's are already struggling with their current workload of Administration, Sales and Client Care and wouldn't cope well with the influx of work that my Branding Facelifts produce. I'll assess your Business processes and design an Automated System GUARANTEED to free up your time. Your fully functional Automated System is pre-programmed and customised to your Business's specific needs, ready for you to just begin using (We do the entire set up for you!).and is designed to give you the freedom to keep these services in-house or allow us to manage them for you. Our Virtuous Assistants love solving problems - in any area of your Business. We also provide sitting services whilst you are away on holidays - keeping your business ticking over whilst you have a well deserved re-charge. Imagine coming back to a full book order and no painful catch-ups! Phenomenal Results Automated Marketing - PRAM; was conceived from multiple encounters with Business Owners just like you! You know you need to have a credible internet presence plus harness the power of technology - but just don't know where to start. It can be very over-whelming and daunting. Our all-round approach is about giving our Clients sustainable, continual improvement in every area of your business - with measurable results. Your initial consultation is free and I will share with you lots of useful information that you can implement immediately to improve your results. Plus I will copy-write one full webpage from your site and gift you the copyright for this - so you can use it on your site. I'll also assess your Site from the perspective of a 'User' and let you know what issues there are in your current site. Even if you plan to re-vamp or launch a new site you can improve the function, look, performance and results of your current site NOW! My Website is currently being built and in keeping with my own advice; will be an immaculate conception - showcasing our skills and abilities. I will do a Case Study on PRAM -- to show just how quickly you can have market reach and influence. My Phone Number is 61 400 118 629 - I live in the lucky country, Australia. Even if you are based internationally we can still assist you. We offer a fully satisfied or your money back guarantee so you have nothing to lose, everything to gain and the sooner you call me - the sooner we can put you and your business on the map!

"Nutshell, a great value but only a good CRM"
What do you like best about Nutshell?

Nutshell is very affordably priced for small companies and works well overall! The import feature is very good.

What do you dislike about Nutshell?

When emailing people from Nutshell, you can't edit the color of your signature, which is very frustrating. I contacted support about this, and they confirmed that there's no way to fix this.

What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?

Managing sales pipelines for a small company and keeping historical records at an affordable price.
