Slack is the top choice for teams to communicate. It provides a virtual workspace that helps teams maintain open communication in a business environment. With Slack, users can host voice and video calls with up to 15 participants and even screen share with a desktop app, empowering better user interaction. Slack also supports options for private and group sessions, and one of its best features is Slack Huddles–an informal meeting space that lets you directly talk to your channel where you can share screen side by side with your team. The platform integrates well with Dropbox, Google Drive, and Trello as well.

EVerything! from being able to search old communication to being able to pin messages set up channels I love everything about slack as it really empowers its users to be highly productive.
None to be honest. Every feature is helpful
Being able to retro search communications, especially with my line of work there are time that I would have to check protocolas for a specific concern (just by keyword searching I am able to find related conversation in the past that were answered which make my work life alot more smoother and eficient.)
What I love about it is creating individual channels for all your conversation and collaboration needs.
Nothing negative to say as it is very much helpful.
It helps me connect easily with local or offshore work colleagues. Gives me the freedom to do everything all in just one application.
I love how seem less it is as well as how connected it keeps me to all of my other colleagues.
I have no dislikes that come to mind currently.
It solves the problem of feeling lost because it makes it to where you can easily reach out and be more productive through the day. My performance is definitely kept on par because of Slack.
Slack has channels in it which make it easy to navigate. Through these channels you can limit conversations to places where they are meant to be. Members can be added or removed based on priority. There are also reactions/stickers which make it fun.
Although Slack is easy to use it does not have read receipts so a message can be sent and we wouldn't know if it has been read or not. However this problem can be solved by reaction emojis.
Slack is solving the issue of separating private space from professional work space. With integrations, better file/text searching options slack makes it easy to find documents/texts etc and also keep work related things restricted to professional channels.
It helps us to communicate and collaborate each everyone in the company. We can easily send and receive a message from one device to another. We can do huddles and coaching meetings through this amazing tool!
I don't have any issues with this tool. A very fast and good tool for communication for us.
It allows us to create a group/team chat which is very useful for us as we can see all updates and information from our leaders and colleagues. It helps us to collaborate each everyone in the company.
Ease of use for slack and mobile capabilities are key. It is easy to contact people and access from desktop or a smart phone.
sometimes it makes a lot of noise and it's hard to filter out certain messages that might not be as important.
Slack helps internal employees stay in touch and on the same page regarding important topics.
It helped my boss and I stay on the same page and working together on things without having to constantly check in with one another, or be following up all of the time.
I didn't really dislike anything in particular. We were not able to use it to its fullest capacity because our organization didn't allow the use wide spread.
Slack helped us to stay up to date on what part of a project the other people were on, and how they were progressing. We also could easily communicate and share documents, etc.
I like that you are easily able to ask a question to a coworker without walking to them and disturbing them. I like all the not automated features and reacting with emojis
I dislike that Slack gives coworkers the liberty to contact you at any hour of the day. It's not always great with communicating throughout time zones.
We are using slack for daily updates on our department to-do lists, which causes less meetings.
I think my favorite part about slack is its ability to handle a diverse set of content, from voice recordings, text, code, Gifs (for fun) and numerous different types of attachment with small representations.
I think what I like the least about Slack is that it can all seem a little much and confusing. There are a lot of buttons and things going on though, overall it can be neat once you learn to use them.
Slack is helping me communicate with team members quickly and effectively. It is allowing us to share messages with one another easily and send content to one another without a problem.
In different channel, you can have different topics, which is a good organization.
You can not respond to people's posts but only react.
Communicating with team members and sharing ideas with other people.
Slack helps you to connect as a community even without having each other's contact.
If the purpose for which the community is formed has been achieved, the community can be deleted.
Slack helped us to connect globally, with over 10000 connections.
i love the reminders + the easy way to upload receipts
nothing, I enjoyed it without having any issues
engaging with other fellow developers
Easy it is to create different channels or group DMs. The screen share and huddle features are also super helpful for remote workers.
I wish I could alter notifications more, but that is being picky. I have enjoyed using Slack!
Communicating in between meetings as a remote-first company. It has also helped build culture as it's been a place for folks to stay in touch throughout the day.
I like that it is made to use in an organization, whit many spaces per orgs and private chats a workspace represents all the communication lines in your job.
I don't like that you had to open the app or keep it open in the browser to listen when a message comes, sometimes I miss messages by days because I'm not aware of it.
Slack is helping my team to keep in touch, organize, exchange ideas, and separate spaces of content by a certain project.
Organize communication through channels and excellent 3rd party connectivity.
starting up on enterprise account could be too many steps
Slack is an internal communication solution.
Slack helps me a lot in terms of internal communication with my colleagues in different timezones, it has a lot of features that everyone can use, specific with the mentions and taggings.
As of the moment, I don't see any low lights in using slack. Since it is very helpful in our everyday company communications. Slack helps everyone to be enagaged.
Slack solves the instant messaging communication within the company. Instead of using other messaging platform, Slack is very user friendly and easy to use. Every one in the company loves to use Slack.
easy to use and very user-friendly. The interface is very easy
none. I love on how you can create multiple channels and easy-to-track messages.
it really helps the communication process easier. You will get notified for all messages.
easy to access and navigate, no other issue
None since it's very useful and very easy to access
urgent meetings and updates that keeps us well updated
Communicating with teammates, creating different channels for different initiatives and intercompany planning. Also great to run projects with external teams if available.
There aren't many dislikes. Sometimes too many notifications can be distracting but you can customize all your notifications so you can prioritize important must read items vs. can read later items.
Intercompany communication and connectivity. Remote workspaces make it tough to stay connected, but slack is a more user friendly and much faster alternative than emails.
Notifications especially if there new mentioned need immediate assistance
It will automatically go on snooze status.
Tagging, it is to navigate and go back to thread especially if needed immediate assistance.
