Flexibility, ability to play out multiple scenarios.
GUI is not as modern as it could be. Could be more dynamic.
Product development planning.
Easy communication between team members and even people on the outside i.e. clients
I would love if it would easily track where you started from and not by using a baseline which you need to think of to capture.
Easy communication with team. Easy output of a timeline for our clients and also the addition of what our budget and hours estimated are.
See where are my team's hours are being spent.
Not counting the hours marked as complete towards the total hours of the project.
Helping ensure the hours worked towards projects are the hours being billed.
It is easy to categorize tasks and projects for all the different departments in our company. I like that a task can be scheduled to go from one team to the next until the project is completed.
It is hard to find a completed task if you don't know EXACTLY how to search for it. It doesn't pull up similar results in the search bar, only exact matches.
LP helps our company keep track of tons of tasks from hundreds of clients and categorize them by being a high importance deadline or putting them on hold until we need it again.
I like that we can track all the work being done for clients and project the availability of our team members to bring on new projects without becoming overwhelmed.
I don't like how LiquidPlanner schedules work for individuals by using a prioritized hierarchy system based on the order from top to bottom because we have some things that are of the same priority and it pushes and adjusts team member's schedules based on that.
We are really keeping tabs on how long it takes to complete certain tasks which gives us a better idea of what to charge clients and how to be more efficient with our time as a company.
The ability to forecast resource availability
No ability to customize user access levels
Project planning and tracking all in one tool. Helps us stay on budget.
The card view, simplifies visual tracking of ticket status
Search. Hard to find what I'm looking for. I often would search for a keyword that I know is in the ticket but it often doesn't find it and I'm not sure why. I
Timesheets, who's working on what and the progress
Liquid planner allows me to update the tasks and assignments dynamically by using dependencies.
The Gantt style is not as good as other software I see.
LiquidPlanner allows me to plan projects in a very organized way so that I don't miss out on essential steps and help me keep track of deadlines.
The layout worked well. We used it for our weekly "Flash" meetings (a quick overview of what each of us is doing), and the design made it simple and clear of the tasks we were working on.
That my company stopped using it for some reason, I believe it had to do with cost.
As stated above, it was great to recap what you had going on through the work week.
how the program tracks time against projects.
that I was repeatedly emailed to write this review with constant reminders the first XX people who did a review would get a gift card and then when I got a final reminder I decided to fill out a review immediately after receiving the email because they phased it like I still had a shot at the gift card but then they never gave one.
wagge
I like the way it allows us to plan for future work.
It takes a little bit to get used to the interface.
Knowing what work to be working on and when. My Work allows all of our users to know what to work on.
Flexible nesting of packages, projects and tasks, each with their own deadlines and multiple assignees is great for flexibility of project and ongoing task setup. Availability settings for individuals and the resource workload view is great for scheduling. The dashboard feature is very flexible for tracking project time, with the benefit of being able to share dashboards with third parties.
Ideally, Liquid Planner could use a reskin with a focus on revamping the software visuals in a way that's more user friendly. There's a lot going on in Liquid Planner, and the dated interface holds it back from quick adoption with users.
I'm using LiquidPlanner to schedule projects and recurring work. It's worked well for collaboration of scheduling, and for individual team members to manage and review their workload for the day or week ahead.
project, dashboard, easy navigations & good user interface
formatting table in comments is too hard & alignment is not happening properly. Hard to identify the required information
Planning, clear views on milestones, highlight the project risks to the stakeholders
The accurate planning and time management
The drag and drop feature work really good. also task planning I use allot.
How efficient you can plan your time in your daily tasks
Simplicity of use and timesheet integration
It could use some more rigorous exporting capabilities - allow export of project data along with timesheet data
Project management issues and monitoring is improved. Quick realizations of project progress
LiquidPlanner is a predictable time tracker. It is probably good at being simple and is very easy to start using and for contractors that come and go from projects.
The app hasn't really been updated much and the mobile app was really weak. It does just work in most web browsers though with no additional plugins needed.
We use LiquidPlanner to roll up project work and report on grants and contracts.
The way it notifies you that something is in danger of not being completed on time with icons.
In Timesheet view if an item is listed you can't remove it or hide it.
Tracking employee time on project tasks. The benefit is open communication among coworkers
The ability to forecast resource use, dashboards and analytical capacity. Easy switch from Gantt chart view to card view Kanban style. Very flexible, so it is easy to set up different types of projects.
The mobile app, which is of very limited use and needs updating. Lack of easy integration with other tools, mostly needs to be done via API. There is a comments function but we don't use it since we use MS Teams for internal communication. It has a somewhat steep learning curve, particularly if you want to make the most of all the functionalities.
Easier overview of all projects and comprehensive time tracking. It is an integral part of our project management activities
It's good to include team members, load files and have a way to break down projects into task for multiple teams.
It's tough having to upload attachments multiple times and not have them connected to a google drive to automatically update if there are changes.
Other than having all of my projects in one place, I don't have much to say here.
ability to visualize workload in a graph form
Having to go to an unfiltered view to mark something complete or change status/put task on hold
More accurate assessment of how long tasks take.
