I was looking for a good at app to take notes since I was only using the app that came with the phone. Evernote definitely gets the job done in terms of keeping my notes organized and easy to look back at.
I’d have to say that what I dislike is that there have been occasions where I need to save a recipe to look back at but then sometimes it’s not there
Been able to keep customers info organized
It is versatile and allows me to access all my notes in one place
It doesn't sync up with the workflow tools I already use
I am trying to keep all my notes in one place so I don't have to keep track of paper
I like all the different ways you can take notes in this.
I didn't like how hard it was to get into the functions when I first signed up.
Keeping notes organized and reminding myself of parts of those notes.
Evernote is one of the best notes out there. But, its not THE BEST. Still it has so many features. You can organise all your notes in one place, be it anything, text, images, voice notes etc. Web clipper is so nice. You can format your notes in many ways. Even hand writing option is available. If you start using templates, it becomes more awesome.
It is paid app, and also its priced high. I am using it, fine The premium version priced at 2.9 $ mo, should be around 1.5$ mo. The reminders could have been placed in a better way, but, the have been placed in a bitter way. There are so many options in notes that sometimes you feel confused. More personalization options should have been there, so that it can depict your style. I hope the app doesn't shut down, as it has a lot of data stored in it.
I am taking all my notes in evernote, sometimes i do, use other apps as well, still its the major one. Sharing notes, is awesome. I can share my notes, in whatever way I want to. Cloud storage is very good as premium version offers 10 GB mo storage, which is more than enough. It keeps my devices clutter free, I can arrange everything the way i want to, and search it whenever i need it back.
My favorite feature of Evernote is the UI/UX of the product itself. It makes it quite easy to use and is more than intuitive.
While Evernote does their best to get their product integrated with other tools, but it does require a bit of self-discipline on the user's part to make use of those integrations.
The problem we are hopefully solving is that it makes it easy to take and share notes from the numerous and often back-to-back meetings that take place within the Product Development department.
What I like best with Evernote is the easy way to create notes, save them and write meeting notes. This last one has saved my everyday job since all my notes from our team meetings are at the same place. Evernote synchronizes with my agenda and transfer all the informations about the meeting directly in the note I create.
I still struggle a bit with the organization of my notes. I can create folders but I haven't still figure out what folders and for what notes I should create. I also think the sharing function could be way more improved. There is a great potential here. When I share my notes, this one isn't synchronized with the modification the receiver can made on my notes. If this would be possible, it would maybe even outmatch Google Docs.
Evernote basically helps me write and organize my notes wherever I am. The easy creation of notes helps our team to take notes quickly during a meeting and then re-read them during the project.
I really enjoy that you can essentially set a to do list, a presentation, save as a pdf and share to colleagues in one app. It's a really great place for me to keep detailed notes.
Not a huge fan of having to pay to access the same content on a different device. I think there are similar softwares that allow you to access your content from other locations. I.e. iCloud, Dropbox, GoogleDocs
Not solving any business problems really. I like it better than Word, but due to the access issue... any work that needs to be shared or accessed by the company will be placed in either DropBox or GoogleDocs.
That I can right down an idea and the app will remind me about the idea, before a meeting or right before I need to start planning an event. I don't have to hope that I'll remember when the time comes! I also love that can can take pictures of my white board so I can duplicate it for other classes
Too expensive to upgrade. Storage is too small on basic version.
Collecting white boards and saving notes with reminders
Great for note taking and also for indexing PDF files and websites in a way that's searchable and easily accessible
can bog down your computer some, and it's not as quick as it could be. Has started to suffer from feature bloat over many years of development.
It's wonderful for collecting articles and websites for later reference. As a marketer, I've been able to build myself a virtual binder of sales page examples, effective marketing emails, and everything else I see online that I like. I just clip it with the browser extension, file it, and I know I'll be able to get to it later.
You can share notes with others, its all saved automatically, and its easily accessible
Not sure if this is any better than say google docs for instance- which seems to have more features in terms of formatting and stuff of the document
My boss and I can share to do lists and edit them together. Keep track of various docs, etc
Available in multiple platforms, very intuitive, and user friendly.
Nothing comes to mind at this moment, thanks.
Keeping track of meetings and inventory.
Evernote is a lightweight tool for quick note taking. Has multiple themes and layouts, allows sync up across multiple devices, allows sharing notes with people.
The left panel is confusing. Can be better organized for quick access to notebooks and notes.
Meeting minutes, To do lists, Check boxes to mark complete.
This is such a helpful application to use for so many different types of things!
I wish I knew more about the ins and outs of the application and how to actually get the most out of it.
I have been using it so far, mainly, for saving and keeping track of notes and things for work.
Evernote has beautiful design, and intelligent autocorrect for pictures of documents.
Unlike Google or Microsoft's products, Evernote lives in its own universe, so I don't use it as much as I could.
Sharing documents with a member of my networking group
Evernote is my favourite for the simple reason that search is very powerful. The whole idea of having an app for taking notes is being able to organise the notes and then search for information whenever you are in need of it. Searching for text within images is a big boon!
Formatting could have been a bit better. Basic formatting only available across all plans. There is no option to copy paste cells from worksheets and work on them. Simple tables make it a pain to work with if you notes need to contain tables of data that needs to be comprehensive.
One app across devices and across all platforms. Andoird, iOS, Mac OS, Windows. No matter what you use, your notes are just always there and with all the features required. Digitizing business cards is another useful feature. SSO is also good to keep the sign-ups central. Business plan offers all the features required.
