the User experience is awsome very simple of config and the templates works
the delay on showing the templates for sending emails
workflow of hiring plan
The intuitive and usable nature of the product is what made this a different experience. We have been more easily able to share and adopt the platform. I like the fact that it has opened up our team to seveal other platforms to improve the overall onboarding pipeline.
Only thing is the self selected calendar invite - Would like to have this streamlined a bit further / made easier. If I were to pick one more I would say having the integrations work even more seemlessly for our particular HR platform but we are continuing to improve over time.
We are able to reduce our steps required to hire candidates. We have had positive feedback around seeing reviews and integrating with email / scheduling. The main benefit is finding great people faster.
The contact with the candidates and comments between colleagues makes it easy and quick to get things done.
There is nothing I dislike about workable at the moment.
We are scheduling candidates' interviews and having access to CVs speedily.
Ensure candidates are reviewed consistently. Ability to build out custom hiring workflows e.g. phone screen with recruiter > Phone screen with hiring manager > Formal Interview... etc Extracts data from resume and present in consistent format
I would like to see the return of suggested linkedin profiles for candidates and perhaps links to previous employers so I can quickly research other companies they have worked for to understand if from a similar business
Streamlines our recruitment process inline with our company values
The ease of adding feedback, seeing all candidates’ resumes
Nothing so far, seemless and easy to manouver.
Hiring for the company, filtering out resumes not able to meet expectations.
All in once place. Candidate summary and steps during process.
Not see any dislike feature, options or behavior.
Candidate summary, collected data from other platforms.
Its is very easy to use especially when you have limited exposure to ATS
Nothing its easy to use on my laptop and via the app so I can update and view easily from my mobile
Using the requisition process has supported the sign off process for new roles within the business which has given transparency
Seeing a timeline for each applicant and the calendar integration for sure. Makes it super simple to add in additional hiring managers and to share timelines with the Directors of unsuccessful applicants for coaching purposes.
I find when I use the Google Calendar integration the invite is sent to the applicant but the link to the Google Chat Video conference does not appear on the recipients invite. I then have to go to my Google Calendar, delete the applicants invite and then re-add them for the link to show up on their end. I would also like the ability to share individual attached files or videos used throughout the vetting process. FOr example, if I have the applicants record a short video as a pre-screen, my HR team attaches that to the timeline but if I want to only share that video with the applicants current Director, I cannot. Instead I have to add them as a follower.
Efficiency and organization. Often the biggest challenge with hiring is keeping everyone's application organized to get the best possibility of an apples to apples candidate comparison. It also allows for super powerful collaboration with my HR team based on individual schedules. The application process can continue even if I'm not available.
Simple to use with plenty of complexity for larger teams.
Nothing to dislike, really. The system is easy to use with no glaring issues.
Workable helps my small team track candidates across multiple roles and makes the entire recruiting process streamlined.
The ability to look at all the resumes and names in one place, then the ability to sort.
NOTHING! I think this program should be in every HR manager's tool box!
No issues; it has made looking at potentials hires more efficient in all regards.
A great tool to manage everything hiring related. I love how easy it is to post a job, get candidates and communicate with them. Scorecards and video interviews are necessary to hire in a remote setting.
It is a solid product, not much to dislike.
Hiring at scale. Better communication across the hiring team. Automating repetitive tasks.
Having all of the applications in one place and the ability to bulk email directly from the application.
Sending bulk emails will sometimes go to peoples junk mail.
It is much easier to sort through candidates.
It's super easy to just post a job ad and workable does the rest. I like how easy it is to use.
Sometimes it's hard for me to find my job ads in the interface. Not a big deal but I always have to click around searching. The applicants section is great though.
We are finding exactly the applicants we need at an affordable price without hardly any effort.
The flow of candidate to phone screen to interview etc. worked very well for us. Aggregating applications from multiple sources was also a terrific service.
It is frustrating when I want to type and email and the space to type in is covered by some sort of message wanting me to use Microsoft365. This is a confidential process and I don't need a whole team reading every email. It's annoying. But it's not a big deal.
as above
tagging about topics or patterns tagging people interested
rendering of CVs in OCR is not pretty or formatted where its easier on the eyes scrolling actual cv, the view plane seems small on my 1280x800 x screen lack of reports or tools to build reports employee referral isn't very clear
we are trying to hire a lot of people over different roles with different stake holders
Emailing a resume to create a profile Organizes comments and feedback all in one place.
Lacks resume review view or tools that can be used to quickly pick the best candidates from 100s. Needs to mine the key features from resumes like, precious employers/titles, schools, location, gender, graduation year etc. so that I can then look at a table view and filter for the candidates that are most appropriate. Right now I have to click on each resume individually and read it. This is archaic. The tech is available. Ok so if that’s too hard, why not at least let me search the content of all of my resumes. “As a user I want to be able to search for anyone that worked at McKinsey” - key word search McKinsey. Let me create alerts, “mark a user that worked at McKinsey, or went to Harvard, just applied” “mark a female with 5 years of project manager experience just applied” Then let me access all of these fields through your API, so that I can create my own alerts or whatever. If you would just make the resume text string available then we could mine it ourselves.
Organizing the workflow of candidates through our process
Workable allows for really efficient review of resumes with all the features a hiring manager might want - a quick yes/no, a way to provide comments, a way to tag colleagues, different stages and categories for applicants. As someone that's not in HR, I've always found it super easy to use and a real value add for the hiring process.
The search feature is a bit lacking - I use tags for applicants in my comments, but I'm not able to search for those particular tags within a large pool of candidates. That would be helpful!
For me, the biggest benefit of Workable is just keeping everything organized and in one place. Even communication with candidates is contained within the platform. I am not part of the recruitment process, so I don't know if this is unique to Workable, but I know we've had a lot of success with being able to share the job across many job boards at once.
It’s a great way to organize and keep track of in coming applicants!
Not really much that I don’t like about it.
Keep applicants organized. Their information is easily accessible.
Easy to use and it is pretty much selfexplaining
I like the tool as it is. I havent found something yet what I dislike
It gives you a good overview of the current hiring process and that you can connect it with your email adress to send out mails.
Price (I'm grandfathered in on old pricing), ease of use, free advertising.
Limited search capabilities within applicant pool.
Managing applicant flow and advertising are the problems we're solving. I've implemented it 3 times, and that's easy.
