Monday.com has many helpful features. With a team in three different locations, we are able to stay in the loop and track tasks easily.
Actual problem we have with Monday is pulse or task itself. There is no description of the task, and when you have more than 4-5 updates complete overview of the pulse becomes very unclear.
Our team loves Monday's functionality for managing several projects across our different business lines. We use Monday for everything from internal budget planning to external client success projects and everything in-between. We are very happy with the way that Monday has functioned for us and look to continue implementing Monday across all of our business lines as we head into 2020.
First of all, this software is very visually appealing. It's so easy to keep track of different tasks and goals and easy to keep a whole team on the same page.
There are not really any cons to this software in my opinion. The layout is great and can be used for different teams within a company as well.
I've been using this for the small business I just started and as a growing business, there are many deadlines and new ideas. Monday.com allows you to really put a visual to the goals you have. There are chart views, calendar views, etc. which makes it something any team can use.
I like that the team is always improving to add new features and those improvements make it easier to use. The team there is also very funny :)
Actually, there's not much I dislike about Monday.com. The only small thing is that when it was someone's birthday on our team, it kept repeating that again and again, day after day. I'm sure it's a small bug that the team can repair easily.
Communication. Teams and life needs things to be communicated in an easy, effective way. I also really like prioritizing tasks by workers so we understand what's most important.
Monday.com is a fantastic solution to project management and team co-op—it is very beautiful and incredibly simple. It allowed me to combine flurry of tasks into a single, always-accessible, neatly organized interface—instead of spread across various papers, documents, and emails. And Monday.com isn't just useful—it is fun to use overall!
Although Monday.com provides incredible value, the price is still a bit steep—especially for smaller teams. Single user options are not available (for people such as myself) but the costumer success team was able to help me out a bit with that once I had gotten in contact with them. The costumer success team is phenomenal—I can't honestly say that I've ever had a negative experience with the company!
I use Monday.com for all of my project management, as well as various other uses that it comes in handy for (such as organizing lists or tracking member attendance). It has simplified my task management in a big way and allows me to focus on what is truly important in the moment. Although I don't frequently collaborate, this application does come in handy when I do—especially since it allows me to invite others into the program as guest, instead of an additional paid user. On top of all that, the app is simply a joy to use!
it keeps all my daily tasks and monthly projects organized in one place. I can keep track of any changes and it's very easy to share with my colleagues.
I think what's missing are excel functions so not everything has to be manually typed.
it has helped to keep information track organized, being able to share status of projects with colleagues easily.
It gives the whole team an opportunity to stay up to date with where we all are and what we're all working on. We meet once a week and cruise through the list from top to bottom to understand what has happened, is happening and needs to happen. It gives managers the opportunity to track progress of tasks that have been assigned and keeps people accountable to their tasks, out in the world for everyone to see.
There are a lot of features that we don't make use of totally and as such I am more frustrated that we are not fully utilising the powers
No balls get dropped. All tasks are logged on Monday and by meeting once a week nothing goes undone for more than a week!
I like using Monday's link functionality to join pulses with similar goals across different project boards. This ability has saved me time, and allowed me to realize when I can "kill two birds with one stone." Also, it's easy to remove links between pulses if the pulse draft objectives diverge.
I wish I had the ability to link to documents from Monday, or even just to add more detailed descriptions, which might show on hovering over a given pulse.
I'm using Monday to communicate with members of the instructional design team, as well as tracking the progress of digital assets and graphic design. I also use Monday to assign pulses for review by management before final approval and delivery. I have increased my organization and productivity, as well as workflow efficiency and communication speed.
The flexibility to customize the data that I am looking to track
Not having the ability to timestamp certain labels when it has been changed.
Managing large projects within the fine art industry.
We're a small company of designers, writers -- you know, creative types. Monday.com is visual and intuitive, so projects, next steps, and status, are super clear to the whole team.
We're still trying to figure out how (or if) to use Monday.com with a calendar.
We chose Monday.com to help us keep track of projects, communicate throughout the team, and move projects forward to completion. And we all love clicking DONE.
- The UI. It is very simple and intuitive to use. Sorting is awesome, moving pulses around groups is as easy as 1-2-3. - The timeline feature is great too. I can set a timeline for each pulse and track progress. - The search feature is extremely powerful. I can search strings, pulses, status, and more.
I can't think of any. Monday is ever evolving. With every release, it gets better.
We are part of the Technical Publication team. We tracking our sprint release through Monday. The integration with JIRA is icing on the cake because of all our engineering/feature tickets are tracked through JIRA.
This software can help keep the entire organization on the same path. The user may miss important company affairs such as meetings but he will still be updated with everything going on with other staff members. Monday.com also makes it possible for the users to generate their own page and thus helps in keeping track of personal information individually or even publicly. It is very easy to use and intuitive. With Monday.com you can easily monitor processes in the organizational departments step by step.
Some of the features of Monday.com may be hard to use for the beginners. They need someone who is technologically aware of this software. For instance, the UI can at times gets shambolic. Also, the price model of this software seems a little bit high for a project management tool particularly when there are additional users. For instance, the premium features.
This product has helped in minimizing the leakage of information and has improved communication within the organization.
This is the most user friendly platform I have utilized for tracking my projects and daily tasks, for either business and personal. It is extremely easy to sort lists, rank importance, and has loads of customization options. The ability to collaborate on team projects with other remote workers, while managing your own, all in one location is fantastic.
I have not found a major flaw in the design or execution of this site, but could always use more options for personalizing the product. I would like to see a little more available for building my own profile. The boards and templates are a little plain, but this also gives the site a clean and organized look. I would rather that than appearing messy.
I work remotely for my company and therefore, I have to be rather focused and self-driven and organized. Monday helps me stay on top of my heavy workload in recruitment and track exactly where I am with my daily tasks. I can pick up and step back without worrying about losing my pace and have the satisfaction of seeing checklists completed.
Monday makes it really easy for me to get my team organized. It's easy to add tickets and update them with notes. I like that you can see a timeline of who has worked on the project so that handoffs are clear. Communication with the Monday team has been great as well. They are super responsive to questions and feedback.
There are some features that I would want to tweak. For example, it would be great to move a pulse and have it land at the top of a list instead of the bottom.
Monday allows me to stay on top of my team's daily, weekly, and quarterly tasks. We've tried many project management tools and many are too feature heavy. We like the simplicity of this tool. We are also able to track the progress of tasks easily because of the status column which we can customize to have whatever status names work for us.
I have the ability to control our workload, communicate with my team. Actually, I have a place where I can track anything our team is working on. I can appoint teammates to particular tasks or projects. The ability to see an accurate status of where things stand.
Till now I don't have bad moments on this platform. But what I would like to change it is a look of the interface. And it is easy to use for all of my team. But all functions works well so I really don't have any negative cons about it.
We have the ability to get notified via desktop or mobile devices in real-time. We can drag and drop files to centralize all our folders with documents. Also, we can ensure to meet all of our deadlines. We can invite our customers to work as guests and share our progression with them.
Clean and visual friendly design; Highly customizable for individual needs; Have timeline feature for tracking;
would love to have a kanban board for more visual tracking
Manage and track projects and personal tasks; report for management team
