Basecamp is not just easy to use but it's UI is pleasing to your eyes which makes you use it without any obligations. The platform helps in bridging the communication gap between clients and vendors as they both work in collaboration with each other. the ability to upload files, with tasks and projects is the best possible way to keep a record and task and activity in the project. moreover, integration with cloud storage providers helps in both keeping files on the cloud and organizing them along with tasks associated with them. last but not least the pricing of the suite is hard to beat as most of the other vendors are providing py per user pricing slab while basecamp only asks one-time cost for an unlimited number of users which does not restrict me from adding only selected members of my organization.

The core objective of the team behind the platform is to make the suite minimal but having said that it lacks some must-have features like recurring tasks, No advance charting like Gantt or project timeline. No option to download all attachments in a single message.

We were using to manage internal and external projects of the organization. It helped us a lot in keeping track of minuscule tasks which often get forgotten most of the time. It also helped us in bridging the communication gap with our vendors

This is the original task management software and they’ve recently made it even better. I have fallen back in love with the interface and power of this team management tool. Love it, If you are a larger organization and you want to send them money to be able to manage all the projects that you have going on, Basecamp is there for you.

It can make some improvements in adding in reporting features that give you better insights into a number of tasks being completed and/or the number of time spent on the tasks or projects.

It is a great tool for project management. It has user-friendly features for assigning tasks, sharing files, commenting, and for setting task-specific deadlines. It also has automated email features that keep you updated on new assignments and sends you reminders about due dates.

Very user-friendly interface, every job is right on the home page and you can see the last time someone has commented or jumped on the specific page. Is able to get my committee connected and share documents so that we can stay up to date on current projects.

I wish the next category for company size was a bit more affordable. We try to keep our open projects right at the threshold so we don't have to bump up to the next price bracket.

Easy way to keep track of board member requests and meeting follow up to-dos. These can all be listed and checked off as completed. A great way for our customers to see that we're always working in the background. It can perform all essential functions needed to plan and execute a project

The feature which I personally like the most is the ease of collaborating with my team members to accomplish the project. Basecamp organizes the things so well and in a well-defined manner which enhances the productivity of the team.

Though Basecamp is a very old and modernized collaboration tool in 2019. Basecamp Business tier plan is way bit too costly in terms of pricing and implementation when compared to competitors.

I like to think of base camp as almost a Forum; I'm able to create and comment on the Messageboard, Upload Documents, and how-tos for my company. Able to integrate it with Outlook and Sync calendars. I even have a platform for online group chat that allows me to communicate with online co-workers. It's easier for us to know each other outside of work with basecamp. We get along together and have a good work ethic at work, which is valuable to the company's culture.

I do not like that it cost $99 a month; it seems to me like every product these days has a monthly reoccurring fee that drives me insane. On top of that, $99 is steep. However, they do offer a free trial that is attractive that allows you to test them out before you purchase, which enables you to see if you like the program or not.

Having a checklist makes it easier for team members to see what has already been finished and you can also subscribe to certain tasks so it will only send email notifications to tasks you are subscribed to.

The team is in sync and everything in the project is visible. Very helpful if you are working as a team with a lot of different to do's.

Basecamp is one of my favorite applications for task management. I assume it also is a great application for project managers, but I would like to highlight its advantages from my perspective - task management. Personally, I think that its biggest advantage is task organization tools that allow users to be more productive by effective prioritization.

I believe that Basecamp's biggest drawback is its user interface. Personally, I have an AMOLED screen and I want everything to be in the pitch black. Basecamp for some reason can not provide me with comfort.

Basecamp allowed me to better organize my daily tasks. I have been using this application for years and in my opinion, it improved my efficiency.

Some of the editing features for the task list are limited. I wish there were more choices for adjusting tasks.

Managing people is NO JOKE! Basecamp makes it so much easier to gauge what your employees are working on and what is/isn't getting done. It also helps you successfully schedule out projects large or small.

There is nothing to dislike about basecamp. It has made my job so much easier, with it integrating with Outlook it helps my team stay on top of their assignments.

More work is getting done by my team and in a more timely manner than ever before. It helps clear up confusion with projects and gives the team transparency when it comes to a task.

We can multiple threads for a single project and for each thread participants and configured and comments can be posted. The various projects are sorted nicely and the most decent discussion thread comes at the top which is very convenient.

Basecamp doesn't provide a mechanism to upload large files such as executables. This is sometimes frustrating when we've to share executable binary files.

Sometimes when I am assigned many times Basecamp becomes very crowded and is hard to navigate.
