I like how iContact helps me deploy mass emails at a time. I love that i can have several campaigns and set up the segments that I want. I also like how it keeps a running percentage of how many opens and clicks.
I dislike how long it actually takes to clean a list.
It helps send mass emails within a timely manner, You can set what time you want them to deploy and you dont have to worry about it. It has brought business to our client by sending out the advertisement.
It is very easy to use and find your past emails. Easy email deliverability and Easy email responses and Easy email preview. Easy sending out emails. Easy to manage email lists. Easy building emails and easy importing photos and easy personalizing emails. Easy user friendly! You can see bounce backs. You can see who opened your email. You can attach other Social media sites. iContact sends your emails also to like Facebook and Twitter and LinkedIn, the same time as the Client emails! Awesome product! I love on the Home (first page) they give you icontact news to help you with customer service tips!
I do not dislike anything about icontact. I love icontact!
The problems I solve is I can put all my clients in one place and icontact sends out whatever email I need at whatever time & day, I want. Easy to import my clients emails and also I can put in all their business information like address, phone number, etc. You can pick and choose different Lists to send different emails to. Love that the Home page, the first page tells you your Most recent email, how many people the email was sent to, how many people clicked on it, how many people opened your email. Tells you your Image library, messages sent, subscriber count, Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn! Very easy to use. Thank you!

The user interface is spot on, from sign up you are already a semi pro as all its features are readily available on the dashboard and easy to use. Also, iContact is perfect as it works with virtually all forms of communication platforms i.e. emails, announcements, newsletters and survey.
I think some work needs to be done on the survey feature. First of all,the survey should be editable. Also, there is need for more sharing options(buttons) and the analytics section should be comprehensive.
I have a business website where I connect with my clients. I use iContact to keep in touch with my clients while at the same time using it to source for new leads. I like it because once I connect with someone, I will never lose their contacts and details.
The drag and drop feature is very cool. Very easy to use design interface. Like that you can copy the source code. Like that you can now search email blasts by name and filter by sender
Very little. If anything maybe just a built in calendar with scheduled blast dates marked. Should be accessible somewhere that doesn't need a log in to view so anyone can access it
Email marketing
iContact is an easy, out-of-the-box product for email marketing including newsletters, announcements, surveys and so much more. Before the changes to the interface, it worked well, but now with the recent upgrades, it's much better.
The survey feature needs a lot of work. It's not even functional right now. Once you create and release a survey, you cannot edit it and the options for sharing and analytics are pretty minimal. I understand this is not a key feature for iContact, but if it is offered, it should be effective. It would be nice to have a configuration similar to something like survey monkey.
We have 9 locations with about 15 departments within those locations where we need to communicate with our patients. Sometimes we communicate with all, sometimes a subset based on locations or other criteria. It is so easy to create mailing lists and target those patients using lists. We often export data into csv or xls files in order to upload them to contact lists for targeting emails.
I contact allows our business to efficiently reach out to our clients across the country with pertinent information

The versatility for building email fliers by someone not "techie inclined" and the use by someone who can write their own html code and upload into IContact.
That we can't have unlimited picture storage with the higher paid-for programs/levels.
Efficient cost to market direct to our past customers as well as potential customers and our referral partners. We can always be "top of mind" with IContact emails. Benefits are "emails are free advertising" and if done smartly, can create good regular business.
iContact enables me to reach out to my client base to keep them informed about our upcoming diversity, Veteran, professional and collegiate career fairs. They can sign up using a PDF registration form, thus generating new sales. It's a great tool for our needs.
iContact has a tracking statistic called no info. Unfortunately I cannot track if anyone is actually opening our email message in this group unless I call them and ask. Many times I'm told they have viewed and opened up the email sent using iContact but their virus protection software blocks sending tracking data.
Business problems solved: informing clients about upcoming events, reaching my client base very quickly. Benefits: generating new business and sales quickly.
They help me upload mails always, every single person is helpful, friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Love iContact. I will not even consider using another e-mail marketing provider. If it isn't broke, DON'T FIX IT
Not one thing. It sometimes has an issue with adding the social post to an email but the team is always striving to reconnect and fix this small issue.

The software allows me to email important messages to all my clients. Great for getting the word out about a promotion or new product.
The email templates are not always great for editing. Can sometimes be difficult to move content around.
This solves the problem of managing contact and interactions with our full customer base.
I like that I can send large amount of e-mails and they get delivered instantly without a delay.
I had some issues with HTML links in my e-mails in the past but I was able to work it out.

The customer service! When there is a problem, it is easy to talk to a real person! Most of the requests are helping us understand how to use a feature and getting help fast is critical to meeting deadlines.
I would like for the templates to be a little more flexible and user-friendly. I am sure more savvy users have no problems!

What I like best is the ROI. I started using icontact several years ago and aside from networking, it is the best thing that has ever happened in my business. And it is so easy to use!! I choose my fave format, change the colors to my liking and am able to use my fave font. It's simple, beautiful and professional.
