Vimoe is very easy to use and with available preloaded templates, you can create a short video from gallery or a montage of images to create a stunning short clip that looks very professionally done. With quick presets you can tailor make something thats either for social media headers or social media posts and stories. One does not need any lessons ingraphic designing to create a promo video complete with an option to add your logo or personal brand
There is really nothing much to dislike on this software maybe the pricing models if it had options that billed monthly or even quarterly for those who may only require to use software on occasionally instead of being forced to make a payment for a whole year. You can use the free version but will have limited storage space and wont have access to premium templates and your videos will carry a watermark that created by Vimeo
In this tech age one where people are being bombarded with online content it helps to have eye catching graphics and videos to space up your content and to advertise specials and other promotions in a trendy way. Studies show people interact more with video content and Vimeo helps you create a video easily shifting layouts mixing images and texts and choosing how it animates from a minimalistic dashboard. The software also has a mobile phone app which gives the similar features at your fingertips so you can create a video from your phone
This app has a very user-friendly front end and backend interface making it easier to navigate even for new users. Besides, it is possible to directly upload videos from a cloud storage drive such as Google Drive or choose from various pre-built video templates.
More advanced video editing features such as trimming, audio customization, and other options should be more convenient while using Vimeo.
We mostly use Vimeo for creating short video ads and hosting it online for sharing with our followers and customers.
I like that you can privately save videos in a place where they aren't going to take forever buffering, the video quality is high, and the videos are downloadable.
It can be difficult to find the videos you are looking for because the folders don't clearly show up on the side of the screen. Navigation needs to be revamped.
It's a great place to store internal video that we need for research and storage. The video loads quickly and is high quality.
It makes videos easier to exchange and allows a wider viewing range, since it is necessary to register before starting using this program, because I can share and display videos with excellent audio quality and fast download resolution that avoid wasting time. This is very helpful for promotional materials to be posted, and passwords can also be incorporated into the videos, so that individuals can only access them.
Vimeo is great, perhaps not so well known as Youtube, but she does her job very well and has no problems. It is rapid and covers innumerable audiovisual materials.
It offers access to information material that leads to enhancing other awareness aspects, it is an excellent resource for the exchange of videos with promotional documents, attracting public interest, and creating a greater number of requests by publishing social networks.
Vimeo is user friendly, easy to link to and doesn’t have ads or extra content apart from what you upload. You can be focused on the delivered content without platform distractions.
Unfortunately, it is not free, but this goes into not dealing with ads.
Vimeo is a seamless way to share content without dealing with interruptions due to ads or promoted content. It makes the experience more streamlined and focus to deliver information.
I like vimeo because I upload the videos of my workshops that I dictate online, and my clients sadisface the quality with which they see the video, without any error or fall of the platform. Thanks to vimeo I have improved my way of working and organizing my videos, I also like its ease when registering, Uploading the video is not very difficult very happy for vimeo and me, since I have the right platform to trust to upload my videos . security and confidence in the palm of your hand.
The internal user interface can be awkward at times, sometimes it can get lost there. But in general, it works well and allows you to save presets on some things that facilitate consistency. that is, each video has the same qualities.
We are solving the problems of running out of storage space. This is a great way to upload additional videos. We also frequently need to send videos to other places and we use Vimeo for that. Other companies and platforms can easily see the video we are sharing. The insert option is great! It is very easy to grab the code and voila. You can also share a link to any video that uploads directly to your own social media page. This is easier than going through the trouble of directly uploading a video to Facebook or Twitter that can clog your system. Vimeo Pro also gives you the option to see those "statistics" in each individual video you uploaded. It shows how many people have played your video, the impressions made and the reproduction rate. You can also link your Vimeo to Google Analytics to be more attentive. Mainly we only use Vimeo Pro for uploading videos itself.
Easy website, easy to upload videos and easy to organize
Wish there was more storage for free users!
Being able to keep all of our files and sermons on one site!
The resolution is not diminished much, if at all, when we upload videos to our Vimeo account. It was very easy to sign up with Vimeo and the cost for the premium service that allows us to upload a higher amount of videos, was a decent price. We can manage our videos with tools in Vimeo that let us add descriptions, mass deletions and other helpful actions. Vimeo is a community of high level creators, in my view, so I like that our videos are a part of that community.
I think Vimeo doesn't have too many flaws as far as the quality of the software and account interface are concerned. I think the price is higher than some other video websites though. So at some point, if we're on a tight budget, we may end up considering moving to a different video website. That wouldn't really be an issue at a no-cost video website.
We are able to embed our Vimeo videos in web pages and also post them to social media in an almost seamless fashion. The videos we post to Vimeo can also make our videos easier to access for private business presentations. We can avoid having to store, share and access videos from different locations. As long as we have the links to each Vimeo video, it's easy to access to the videos at any time from any computer.
When you're creating videos that are marketing related as I sometimes have to do for clients, you can't just put it up on Youtube. It's unprofessional and has ads playing before they even watch the video (which will make a bunch of people leave). Vimeo provides a solution to this that works for me because you can embed their videos on a site without ads.
Vimeo needs to work on their user interface ASAP. It's boring, you can't customize it well and there are many irrelevant features that just don't need to be there.
I'm able to embed professional videos on client's sites without ads.
The general feel of Vimeo has a more professional vibe than other top tier videos sites, which is something I really like. Using Vimeo for uploading videos is pretty easy. It's not that much different than most other video websites out there today. When I upload videos, the loading times are usually not that long relative to the size of the video files I upload. I think that we get a reasonable amount of space for basic usage.
Unlike many other video websites out there, I dislike that Vimeo has a file storage limit. As I mentioned before, it's a pretty decent limit, but the fact that there is a limit at all has to be considered a thing to dislike about Vimeo. I think if you are looking for a video website for people to find your content, Vimeo is probably not one of the better websites since there aren't as many general users as other video websites like YouTube.
We can use Vimeo to post videos for lots of different reasons in our business. We mainly use them for online marketing type of videos that we can embed in web pages. The video quality is usually very clear which helps to make our videos more outstanding. We can also allow people to share our videos more easily with the built-in sharing and embedding tools that Vimeo provides.
The ease of sharing content with clients.
The terrible load times for viewing of videos.
Sharing work for critique and revisions.
Definately very easy to use interface. I am able to upload and share videos on no time.
Depending on your needs, this product is pricey to just host videos online.
Certain WordPress plugins prefer for videos to be posted on Vimeo vs. YouTube.
Back end admin is super straightforward. Easy to embed videos. Matt
Wish their was Marketo integration. The default titling on embedded videos is a bit dated looking.
Distribution platform of webinar content and customer profile stories has been the main focus on my end. Upside has been broader engagement through various channels with video.
Vimeo Pro gives us a flexible and brandable platform to provide streaming or downloadable video files for our DIG IN prospects and customers. We looked at Wistia and YouTube, but Vimeo met our business needs best. The system uptime and availability has been solid and dependable.
I like the fact that Vimeo lets me organize videos into albums, but the admin UI takes some time and trial and error to fully understand. Some of Vimeo's help files in the knowledge base are outdated. I'm also somewhat annoyed by the Vimeo "staff picks" videos that show up when our users access the site. Our audience is church ministry leaders and some of the video content on Vimeo is inappropriate for our user base. Fortunately, our direct links to the videos do not contain any pre or post roll ads, so it's not likely to be an issue when used as intended.
The music videos and teaching videos we post on Vimeo are intended to be used in a children's Sunday school teaching environment, so it was critical for us to be able to avoid third-party ads and to have some control over the on-screen branding, which Vimeo Pro provides. Also, one of the key factors that won our business was providing multiple options for users to download videos for offline display.
I loved how easy it was to use. The profile feature was cool. And it was easy to use with WordPress
I couldn’t find any one thing in particular I disliked.
I can make a more professional looking channel.
When i've had issues (which were the fault of IOS, not vimeo), the vimeo team did a great job of offering potential solutions and workarounds. They responded extremely quickly to my questions and were just overall very helpful. The vimeo platform itself has great privacy settings so I can decide exactly where I will allow my videos to be embedded.
This isn't the fault of Vimeo but of Apple's operating system. iOS 11 did not work right with vimeo videos. They would freeze after a few minutes and not reload. This problem went on for about a year before apple fixed it. While not the fault of vimeo, those videos not playing for my viewers cost me a LOT of money from losing members to my paid videos.
Having control over privacy settings has been wonderful. Being that the videos I upload to vimeo are behind a paywall through my website and patreon this is a big deal. This is something that other video upload sites lack. I ran into an issue where someone had taken all my unlisted patreon videos and made a public playlist with them on the platform I was previously uploading to. With Vimeo that can't happen!
It's really easy to use, all settings are quite self-explanatory and the customer support could help with the rest.
The only feature I am missing is that I cannot include the captions/subtitles in the autoplay - this feature remains at what the viewer has set as their preference. So, the autoplay will start muted and subtitles will only appear if the viewer turns them on.
Hosting and embedding high-quality videos with cool features on how to display those videos to clients.
This is probably the only marketplace designed to sell only 360 videos. the video customization options are really great, there are also several branding that can be done to make your video stand out. the video analytics is top class and well it depends on the plan you're on. support is also nice, you can get a reply within minutes and absolutely satisfied with them. there are great privacy setting and you got the full control over the video, you can edit the video whenever you want and if you want you can aslo share them publically. social distribution is a tool that lets you share the videos directly to social media from your dashbord which is very easy. there are many tutorials on 360 videos like how to shoot thema and how to view them properly which will be a great help for the newbies.
you need 360 camera and VR helmet if you want to work with 360 videos and they are costly. to get priority support and sell videos you need to go with higher membership plans that everyone wont be able to afford. playback speed is controlled by membership level and that not a good feature.
Vimeo 36 is a market for 360 videos, here you can sell your videos or hire creaters to do the work for you. the player is great with a lot of customization options.
Great video respository to edit and market videos online - the best feature is how smooth it integrates into any online landing page or video player. We use a number of different online platforms including InstaPage, WordPress - and Vimeo works great with all of them.
We sometimes receive files in formats that are not supported by Vimeo. This means we end up having to convert those files into mp4, and then upload to Vimeo which takes us a lot of time, and sometimes compromises video quality.
With Vimeo Pro, we are able to effectively use video to educate our clients. We host up to 10 webinars every month, and using Vimeo we are able to share the recordings with users who are unable to attend, or give them an option to download the video to view offline at their own pace. This results in a great client experience when they are interacting with our videos online.
