Business practices and support not to my liking
Successfully hosting sites on a Windows server and a Linux (Wordpress) servers. Both work fine
the tech support chat WAS great. But if security team gets involved you are screwed - can take weeks with no help.
i LOVED them for years. now for weeks they have left accounts suspended. You can fall to back of support queue for weeks, and they have double charged me 4 months.
none - I'm moving after 10 years with them.
It would be great hosting if it worked properly. I like the managed Wordpress dashboard where you can see all your sites and the daily backups, But the sites randomly crash very often, and they have no fix.
Stay away from Liquid Web hosting. I own an agency and decided to use their managed wordpress hosting. Their hosting environment has a known bug which they know about that randomly causes the servers to crash. You would think since they know about it they would monitor the sites and automatically fix the sites when they go down, but that is not the case. If the sites go down, you have to call them to tell them to get it fixed. They refuse to do anything on their end to remedy the issue. They told me to contact the creators of php to get their server environment bug fixed. Now they just want me to change hosting plans acting like moving and testing 50 sites will be no big deal. Absolutely terrible customer service and experience. Please stay away from this company and save yourself the trouble. Especially if you are an agency with multiple sites to host.
I am leaving liquid web hosting. I was using their managed WordPress hosting to host 50 wordpress websites. I have not realized any benefits, only regrets for choosing Liquid Web hosting.
It was good but nowadays servers not good and no support to look over that
We enjoyed with @LiquidWeb services for many years just bcoz of their support heroes! Its an alert message, Our servers were ON but all domains, Plesk was down for three months almost every day + 2 months migration tool not working due to poor support team !!! #dissatisfied
Low-quality support team with less knowledge
The cloud parent servers is what initially had me sign up. I spoke with a sales manager and they went through all of the different details, technically too, which surprised me. I was initially impressed with service.
The entire support staff experience is one of the worst I have ever encountered. Multiple 'engineers' going in and making changes to my servers without my authorization. Repeatedly requesting escalation to management and the engineers refusing to do so. Resolutions were explained as 'for some reason'.

I never agreed to sign up with liquid web. Rackspace sold my account. Since March 2018 you disabled all my websites and yet you CONTINUE to charge me DESPITE NUMEROUS cancellations by me. I had to cancel my AMEX card, and block recurring charges. Now you charged me AGAIN today. You OWE ME 9 months at $220. $1800.00. I will now post publicly wherever I can. Several months ago I was asked on the support chat to verify that I wanted to stop my account, verified it, and I was asked if I had all the content transferred, confirmed yes. And still you are charging me. I will post this review everywhere I can, since you are operating fraudulently. When you refund me, I will stop posting publicly.

We are hosting our applications on VPS, Dedicated, and Cloud Dedicated machines. Free migration, Instant support, and knowledgeable and committed staff are the best qualities.
This is one of the few hosting companies where the support department is as responsive as their sales department. I am thoroughly impressed with the service we have received from our representatives at Liquid web.
As a growing company Liquid Web doesn't have as many locations as other large brands. More international hosting options would be a good development.
With large brand hosting services, we couldn't get responsive support/service. Liquid web solves that for our mission critical systems.
Liquid Web is great. I've been through many hosting providers and these guys help with thing other providers would say 'it's your job to know how to do this-we only host it'. One guy stayed on the phone with me for 2 hours when I switched from a Magento site to a Wordpress site. He made sure everything was how it should be. 10/10 will recommend.
I do not dislike anything about them. They accommodate everything I ask them to.
We had a lot of issues hosting Magento. Our site would always pop offline because another site on the same server would be using more traffic. This does not happen with LiquidWeb anymore.
Tech support is always ready to answer my questions or dig into my problem.
My vps doesn't seem to be the fastest server in the world, but it does the job. Sometimes tech support drags on via email, but it's not usually a critical issue. I've only had to call once, and that got it fixed right away.
Trying to keep hosting costs at a manageable level without taking shortcuts that will hurt me. Getting a vps with LW has definitely met that goal. I've used cheaper hosting in the past, but tech support is not great or performance is inconsistent. LW is solid.
I love the options and the support they offer. Been easily able to upgrade our accounts as our sites can grow with ease and then when something needs a server expert they have a great support piece.
Pricing, always wish I could payless, but I know when I have used budget hosting options you get what you pay for. So I will continue to pay more to get more.
Always having a host that offers good uptime and can easily fix issues as they come up. No longer am I getting 500 errors on sites which I was getting on our old host even though they said it was dedicated and it wasn't.
Ease of installations of Wordpress builds and the creations and installation of SSL certificates — just so very simple, and easy!
Our hosting doesn't include a Cpanel — I don't miss it too much but sometimes you just need that interface.
I've used several hosting providers, but Liquid Web's ease of installation and exceptional Live Chat tech support is worth a thousand other cheaper hosting providers. When I just need immediate help they are available and are always friendly and knowledgable! I don't know what I would do without them!

Server management can be a little bit technical but luckily the support team is friendly and knowledgeable and can help with any issues that arise.

The support team at Liquid Web is great. We don't have many issues with our hosting but when something pops up the support team is on top of it and ready to help. Their Cloud VPS is super easy to manage, even if you don't have dedicated dev ops staff.

Customer service is extremely friendly - get a 1st response within a minute. Normally, this would happen to me with a new host, but then slowly, the support would get slower and slower. I've been with Liquidweb for over 1 year and have always gotten stellar support quickly! Keep up the great work!

Reliable hosting - we used many services before (inmotion hosting, bluehost..etc) and their servers would get slower and less reliable over time. I have yet to have this happen with liquidweb - I think it's because they don't have the shared, $4.99 hosting - you get what you pay for!
It's easy and fast to set up new websites and clone sites into staging.
Only 1 FTP account per site, which is a slight annoyance for our automated theme updates (would prefer an FTP account that only had access to the theme folder.) Also, there isn't an easy way to manage domains that purely redirect to other URLs.
