Looks cost-effective as a telephone solution. Cost may be taking away from quality which means it may cost you more time (as it did I)
Signed up for a monthly plan then was charged for an annual contract. Cancelled the account due to poor call quality. Contacted support and requested a refund on the overcharged portion only to be told: "refer to the terms of service, no refunds". Tired of this Technology company BS. Join the real world. Busines telephony and call routing solution
Integration with Hubspot, the Windows app.
Cost of calls in Europe, outside the EU, are very costly. In particular Swiss numbers.
It solved our problem with integration to Hubspot, tracking and initiating sales calls directly from Hubspot.
Fast implementation, easy to use, enough functionalities, helpful support team, sync with our CRM.
Once upon a time, I feel that the quality of some calls is not 100 %. But it is something that most people don't notice.
Calls distribution inside the company, smoother and more effective processes.
it integrates with Hubspot, has a desktop app
confusing with pricing. I thought it includes everything, the Hubspot integration, the number porting. Only after I activated the account I was informed about the cost of number porting. Then later I was informed that Hubspot integration also a higher plan costs, so I upgraded.
It works as my VOIP service with a CRM. I like that calls are being recorded and stored in the CRM.
It's really simple to use, very friendly, It's not hard to find your way around. I can track my calls, make records out of them. Analyze the data can improve our metrics and it can help us achieve our goals. Also, the price is more affordable than any phone plan on the market, which helps us to stick with our budget. Also, there are no fees for roaming, which could be very problematic while traveling.
Sometimes if your internet signal is not strong enough, that the connection might cut off a lot. But I understand it might not be a problem directly from the platform itself but more with the connection of the internet. Either way, there should be a method where even with the lowest internet capacity the sound should not be affected because if I want to be travel-working not always I will have the best internet on the road, so this might affect my job performance and results.
I can call all my potential clients, and I can also have a record of all the calls. This is very helpful for sales purposes, and for analyzing our data. Also, the price is more affordable than any phone plan on the market, which helps us to stick with our budget. Also, there are no fees for roaming, which could be very problematic while traveling. so if you could fix the dependency on the internet quality connection, that would be amazing.
No doubts the best part of cloudtalk is the simple way you can manage the countries to wich your agents can call and which can't and you don't need any special license like in other apps such as Aircall.
They are not so clear about the cost and the billing. In the beginning, their sales agents tell you you can pay for minutes "as you go", and once you are with the account manager about to sign the contract it turns out you don't have any other option but prepaid minutes, so you have to calculate the minutes per month you're going to call for each country and if you spend more minutes the price is so much higher than the one the sales agents told you. In a company like the one I work on we don't know the minutes we are using for each contry per month, it depends of the clients, so it is so annoying we have to pay for minutes that may be we're not going to use, and pay a very high price for minutes we need just because "we didn't see it coming".
We use cloudtalk to call clients from all over Latin America and Spain, and is so useful that we don't need to have local number to call them like in other cloudcalling apps.
The ability to purchase a local number and call different countries at a very reasonable price. Our campaign was to reach out to International schools in Europe and Asia and we were able to call 70% of the numbers we have on our list which is more than we initially hope for. The cost per minute is better than other applications. The app itself is very easy to use and the call recordings are super clear. Finally, the customer service team is very helpful.
Unfortunately, some countries are not allowed to be called using the app from the local number that we are using. I'm pretty sure there's a workaround if we reached out to someone from tech support. But we were already content with how many contacts we were able to reach out to so all good.
Calling International numbers. We needed to reach out to International schools without spending so much money on purchasing local numbers and expensive international calls. Cloudtalk made it possible with a price we could manage.
This platform allows businesses to quickly and efficiently set up and manage phone lines without the need for complex hardware installation. With CloudTalk, users can easily resolve and record phone calls, create interactive voice menus, and track performance statistics. This makes CloudTalk a great tool for upgrading a company's phone system and providing a better connection with customers.
Some things on CloudTalk are not 100%. Occasionally something doesn't work as it should for example the person who answers the call can't hear the person on the other end, they have to hang up and call back. Apple Watch notifications and other details are missing. But in general the service is fine and the price-performance ratio is good.
We needed to sort out the customer service line. When someone calls us, we need the customer to always answer and be assigned a preferred agent. This way, he doesn't have to dial several numbers in sequence, but CloudTalk connects him to the agent that is available at the time.
