It's the best online video editor I have tried so far in terms of UI/UX, user experience, final result, assets, etc. The fact that videos, saves and files doesn't consume space of my drive it's awesome. I gave up with Final Cut just for that reason. Great for editing short-form video for social media and Youtube. Replaces paying for stock video and audio memberships (it's integrated with high quality stock materials) The GIPHY, titles and stickers functions work great.
It has some minor bugs that can slow down the editing process. It's not at the same comparison level of more professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, etc. Editing a +10 min video can be frustrating because of its capabilities. Sometimes you could lose some animations and changes on your editing process because of problems with auto-save.
VEED allows me to edit professional and modern videos for social networks and YouTube with stock resources, animations, GIFs, without consuming memory and space on my computer.
The ease in which we can make subtitles and edit features. Also, adding Gifs and animated stickers are fun. There are also a lot of stock videos and sound effects. While implementing all these features, it is easy and hassle-free.
The editing panel should have some extra features like select all and one click mute.
VEED solves the difficulty in creating and editing videos on a professional scale. It also brings down the budget that you will have to spend for the same.
the best part is that it gives the user liberty to do anything
it breaks a lot, if you upload a big videos then you might end up screwing it
it solves the problem of not knowing adobe, and at same time giving the power of it on web.
Most of the Magic (AI) tools are great. The features I use the most are automated subtitle generation and also noise reduction, which works million times better in my opinion compared to Adobe Podcast. Overall the tool is great for people who don't have knowledge of professional editing tools, however even professionals will find a lot of ways how VEED's features will accelerate their work.
I bought the product specifically to try their Eye contact tool, as of writing this review the feature is very disappointing. It makes the eyes unnaturally big, and it looks like my eyes have make up on them.
I use veed mostly to finalize and enhance the videos I already edited with Adobe Premiere. However all of that can also be done using Veed.
I love that I can use it without having to download any software, just having to head to the website makes integration into my routine easy. You can also do a lot for free. Its library of stock content and graphics is substantial and I don't usually have to use other resources for what I need. The way I can just click to add a sticker or animated text is very useful and easily implemented. I use this website weekly!
Sometimes it takes a while to load. I dislike that I have to let something upload to 100% before editing something else or else I risk it not working properly. I've also had issues with my video blacking out and support could not find the problem.
I am not aware of any, however, I have had an issue with my video blacking out while the audio still worked and it has not happened since then - so I assume this has been fixed!
Captioning: One of the best features of VEED, I won't say it's 100% accurate but it's a tool with the highest accuracy when it comes to making captions in any language, saving me hours of work. Simplicity: In my opinion, even a newbie who has never worked on an editor tool can use VEED because it's a simple interface.
Speed: Sometimes when I'm using VEED I have faced issues with some processes taking too long, since it's a cloud-based tool so yeah can't complain much about it so it would be wonderful if this issue is solved.
Saving hours of making captions manual, it's really great, and since it's cloud-based I can access it from anywhere.
I use VEED for work to edit videos for our step by step instructional videos and love the many options for animations, transitions, and subtittles
I would love more templates for subtitles and video rendering as occasionlly it will be extreamly low frame rate. as well as that, and auto save feature before an upload as I've lost 12hrs of work before due to the website crashing
It makes editing and producing videos incredibly simple and efficient
Simple interface, great features like AI silence removal, easy editing tools
I wish i had easier control over the quality of output and format of videos
Easy online video editing
That it's very easy to use, and beginner friendly
It glitches a lot! That is super frustrating
Being able to knock out videos that are quality in less time then other editing software
Love the different features that are super useful for editing and especially subtitling, which is what I primarily use it for. But having the AI additions such as removing awkward pauses and fixing audio is really helpful as well. It saves me a lot of time.
Even with the paid service, only the top of the line service offers 4k exports. Sometimes also the quality of the video gets a bit distorted on occasions but it does the job for the most part.
Subtitling using AI saves me a lot of time when I edit videos for clients so that's my primary purpose of using it vs the native subtitling features on video editing software.
We started to use VEED to add subtitles to our podcasts, however after exploring it we have started to use it to edit them as well. Editing audio is super easyand quick to learn. The price is also reasonable for a start-up as we are. Customer support is also helpful.
The only minus is that it sometimes takes a lot of time to export the video. We dont usually need high res videos since we use them mainly on social, but it still takes time to render and export.
easy to use podcast editing and subtitle management. Ready made templates that makes it fast to edit content so that we can do it internally with our limited budget.
VEED is my go-to for adding subtitles, overlays, and music to video projects. There are also some nice features to automate audio clean-up and clipping out silences, which can be tedious in a program like Premiere Pro. I like the eye contact feature as well, which can mask when someone is reading off a prompt and make the video more engaging. VEED has streamlined a lot of the most common video editing needs and made it easy for a novice like me to create high quality videos.
In order to streamline the video editing process you inevitably have to lose some of the more granular control that you have in a program like Premiere Pro. I had some trouble when working with multiple clips that had different green screen shades or weren't in the same language because some of the options are global rather than clip specific. When I needed subtitles in multiple languages within the same video VEED got a little buggy, sometimes losing my subtitles or replacing them all with one language, but this is a pretty fringe use case.
VEED helps me to speed up the time it takes to produce each video by automating a lot of the most common edits I would be making. I also like that there are stock files and templates available for me to easily grab and incorporate into my projects.
The thing i like the best is its capability to - generate subtitles - the sound clarity is also good. - it's collection of music - even the filters are not bad
I guess the interface has a bit of a lag but majorly because of internet connection. It requires a stabe internet for sure.
The auto generation of Subtitles and supers, is something a lot of content creators struggle with I guess having it covered really helps - thanks VEED.
The UX is outstanding. It has every element you need to create an engaging video. It boosts the creativity.
It randomly creates white flashes. The support team is helpful to fix them.
To produce high quality editing with no learning curve. Easy and fast.
Simplicity and user friendly interface. The auto generated subtitles and Text to speech features are my personal favourites.
The software is full of glitches. Elements on the timeline move up and down on the timeline, and this makes editing a video later very difficult.
We are using Veed as a tool to create educational training videos in our organization.
I like that Veed is very quick to learn, easy to use, and makes your video editing look amazing with ease.
It gets a bit laggy when working with large 4k files. Also the collaboration features in a single account could be improved.
We have dozens of 4k videos that need editing by our junior video editor team. Veed is great for accomplishing our editing goals with ease.
I think VEED offers a lot of cretaive solutions to short form video and makes consistent updates to make their videos better each month. Creating multiple styles of subtitles can make videos seem more dynamic and less corporate. The provide a ton of tempalates to give inspiration or for you to jump right in to as well. Other AI features such as remove backrgound, eye contact and green screen are game changers and save a ton of time that is usuaully spent in other video editors. In the back end, they allow you to organize your projects very easily as well.
I feel with more complex video editing tools, simple things like alignment of objects and shapes snap to place or you can pinpoint where they are on the screen isn't present. If they could also add guides to their videos for things alignment of eye-line between clips that would improve the editing experience.
Primarily, we make employee testimonial videos in VEED. Using their features, we are able to make a low-budget phone recorded video look on brand and professional with subtitles and other features.- It speeds up our workflow that is usually spent in much more complex video editors.
User-friendly and easy to navigate, I did not require professional training to use it effectively. It saves me money and time of hiring freelancers .
In terms od the pricing especially the AI-generated Videos it's too costly as I am paying $100 monthly Aand also brand logo should be more liberalized
Video editing and synthetic AI generated video is a game changer for me as a University Lecturer and Medical educator
Veed is easy to use and has excellent versatility for adding subtitles.
It can be a little glitchy. Especially when editing subtitles.
Veed makes editing all stages of video content easy, from cutting and stitching raw videos together to adding subtitles and branding. As a video editing novice, I can provide polished videos to my clients.
One of the reasons why I enjoy using VEED.IO is because it's a user-friendly, web-based video editing tool that comes free of charge. Its drag-and-drop interface makes incorporating text, images, and videos into my projects effortless.
One downside of VEED.io is the watermark on videos created using the free plan. It's quite noticeable and makes me hesitate to use it regularly, especially when compared to other competitors whose watermarks are less conspicuous.
I love using VEED.io for video editing because it simplifies the process with its easy-to-use platform and intuitive tools. It's a huge time-saver and boosts efficiency with its fast rendering and exporting features.
