My favorite part about Surfer is easily the Content Editor. After using it a few times, writing with the Content Editor becomes streamlined and straightforward. It provides helpful keyword suggestions that I wouldn't have thought of on my own or without hours of SEO research. I also really like the new Content Planner feature. Although not all of the suggestions are wholly relevant to a given topic, most of them are. This gives me a simplified way to write content that supports a main keyword without the need for hours of research.
The only real downside to Surfer, in my opinion, is the price. Before the pricing structure update, I thought that it was fairly priced. However, the new pricing structures highly limit the number of Content Editors that you get, which is a bummer as this is easily the feature that I use most. Of course, Surfer is in the business of making money, so I understand the need for an updated pricing structure, though I preferred the old one!
Surfer helps me deal with my chronic lack of time. Thanks to Surfer, I can perform detailed keyword research in minutes, giving me more time to focus on writing and creating great content.
I absolutely love the content editor. With SEO results taking days to weeks to months to show potential progress either positive or negative the content score that is displayed and changed in real-time as you add keywords or headers that it believes will help you rank better. Seeing that green score is an immediate reward that helps me keep going.
The cost is slightly high for an individual like myself who runs a small blog that doesn't even earn anywhere near the $59 subscription fee. Hopefully over the next few months I will see it pay off.
It's easy to get tools to tell you what position you rank for any given keyword and track this for you; however with the audit and content editor I can instantly get feedback on how to improve the content on my page to hopefully rank better for those keywords. It also gives you similar keywords that you should try and include into your content so you will rank for those as well that I didn't even know about.
I have used Surfer for years. For those years, we've gotten good results. Thankfully, unlike AHREFS, they are honoring their grandfathered accounts. Unfortunately with their 2FA and other protections it is becoming nearly impossible to login to Surfer.
The new pricing structure is way too expensive for the results it provides. We've switched our writers over to Frase, Neuronwriter, and Rank IQ. The ranking results are just as good, and the price is a lot lower.
Helping us identify which keywords Google needs
I love how the tool is so intuitive to use. It integrates with Jarvis, so I can see how the content ranks as I write it. They've even done a fantastic job of explaining how they arrived at the score for the content.
I wish I could create more articles with my plan, but I understand that every time I use the service it has a cost for them, so I think that the pricing and value is very reasonable—especially considering the results!
I'm using Surfer to integrate with Jarvis and write better content for my websites. The content has proven to rank better, as I'm starting to get more inquiries from organic search results.
I can easily analyze the common factors in the top SERPs and then write a well-optimized blog pact with content. If you had to pick between an= keyword research tool or SurferSEO, I would pick SurferSEO. It has keyword research, backlink research, backlink gap, and content optimizer.
The cost might be too costly if you are a new blogger without much funds to invest in a tool. The mid-tier pricing with NLP only allows like 30 content credits, but it doesn't roll over. I hope they change this.
I like the ways where I don't have to bust open a spreadsheet to analyze every single webpage on the SERP. SurferSEO gathers all the top ranking pages data on the SERP and simpilify everything,
I have tried out many different tool other than this but the best part of this tool is its usability, And now it is AI powerd which makes this tool even more powerfull, I have installed this extension in my crome and there in SERP it shows all the important information an SEO professional required, Me as a Digital Marketing can tell you that this tool will help and assist you in your content marketing verywell and it is not that cheap but really a good tool in which you can trust
The worst this abou this tool i dont like is that Its price it at bit high side, It would be great if they can cut it down a bit, and also like many users I have experienced some glitches that i feel like it will resolve soon other that that this is an very good tool for an seo person like me
This extension help me in many ways like, I can see the search volume of the keyword , I can have a look at Cost per Click for the keywords i am working on and also it helps in estimated traffic of the website moreover it also estimat word count of your competitor's pages and number of keywords used.
Easy to use interface. Low learning curve. Easy for non-technical writers to use.
Price is a bit steep, but all SEO tools have increased prices and Surfer gives a lot of value
Mostly for SEO optimizing blog content, web pages, and similar.
The font that they have in their content editor
- They are so greedy, they coninue to up the price and give less value. It's literally corporate greed at it's best. There are products like zimmwriter as well as neuronwriter that does the exact same thing at a fraction fo the cost
Finds keywords that I may not have thought about before
