If you are looking for all-in-1 SEO tool with competitive pricing, SERPStat is a great option to go. While some SEO tool requires an expensive subscription fee, SERPStat can get you started with just $19/month when compared to other platforms that easily cost $99/month. I really like Plan A & B which are excellent for light users as well as small business operators like me. Also, the easy to navigate interface is a plus point as well. Do not get deterred by the low price and thinking that SERPStat is unmatched with the more established SEO tools in the market. Despite the affordable price, the tool has many functions like web analysis, keyword research, backlink analysis, rank tracking, site audit. I believe these functions are already more than enough to cover the SEO need for the majority user out there.
Sometimes the calculation and retrieving keyword data can be a bit longer or slow. While it does not happen frequently, but when it does, it's almost impossible to do conduct keyword research. Hopefully, this will issue will be elevated in the future. Also, the rank position sometimes can go missing for a day or two before coming back to normal. While this is not a major issue but for someone that needs to monitor the rank position frequently can be a concern.
I use SERPStat for keyword research, backlink analysis and rank tracking. These tools fulfill all my basic SEO needs. The most significant benefit that I realize is competitive pricing.
The strongest side of Serpstat is keyword research. It's super fast and easy to get tons of good keywords. Outstanding API access for all pricing plans. And even now that Ukraine has been attacked by Russia: * not a split-second of down-time * the app is continually developed further - rapidly! * the quality of their database stays very high (I use several SEO tools and I routinely compare search volumes, positions etc.) A few points I noticed in the years I have been using Serpstat: Credits: If you want to do something, go ahead, do it. You will not run out of credits. Everything is calculated very generously. Keyword research: * Organic keyword research is superb, with powerful filter options, related keywords, keyword suggestions etc. * Good PPC keyword research function, but it's the organic research where Serpstat excels * Lots of cool features like you can upload a keyword list to get keyword suggestions for all keywords in your list. * Filters. They are powerful. Choose AND or OR logic, combine filters, save filter configurations ... These filters are available throughout all the functions. * Clustering function Technical audit: * Solid audit function with many parameters, nothing spectacular, but fit for purpose Backlinks: * In general a basic backlink tool, but has special features like an overview over outgoing links, scanning for malicious link donors etc. Again, lots of powerful filters. Service: * Super fast response of their people using the chat function. * If you report a problem, they research it thoroughly. If it's your mistake, they help you how to use their product properly. If it's a bug, they fix it and tell you when it's done. * If you ask for a new feature, there is a good chance they will consider it. API: * API access is included in every pricing tier. (Wow.) * Good documentation with programming examples provided Pricing: It's a fraction compared to similar tools. Very good discounts for longer subscriptions are available.
The keyword traffic estimates seem too high. The backlink tool does not have a page-level authority value, only domain-level. They told me they are working on a new PPC keyword tracking functionality. The current PPC keyword *tracking* function is quite basic.
We use Serpstat mainly for keyword research in German and English, technical audits and keyword tracking. It excels in all these fields. We use Majestic for link building, but Serpstat's backlink tool is a good supplement with some functions Majestic does not offer. We use the API to streamline keyword research and to alert us to technical problems and backlink anomalies.
I like the overall layout of the product. I also like how there are a lot of resources on how to use the product. Oftentimes products have a lot of features that users don't know about. I was able to learn how to maximize the value I got from the software by watching a webinar available on youtube. The blog is really helpful and provides a lot of insight. I have learned a lot about SEO just by reading the blog. I have used the audit feature to figure out what improvements my site needs to make. I have been able to compare how my website is doing relative to other sites. I have tracked other sites and to see how they are doing with their backlinks.
Everything is great so far. I do not have any issues. There are limitations on how much data can be pulled, however there is always an option to pull more data by paying more. I am completely comfortable with the data limits that I am currently subject to.
It helps me have access to SEO software at an affordable price. Since I am just starting out, I simply can't afford some of the more expensive software that is costs 100+ per month. I am still learning how to use the software but it is definitely satisfying all of my business needs.
The price. It has all the features I need to manage my clients SEO work and costs $75 less per month than Moz.
I originally thought that they did not have keyword difficulty scores for organic but they do! Can't think of anything I dislike yet.
Keeping track of SEO rankings, doing site audits, reviewing top SEO landing pages. I've been able to rank for more keywords faster because of Serpstat.
The multiple databases available along with the ever improving accuracy of the data makes doing SEO for overseas client a breeze. The data provided is at par with other well known tools like SEMrush and Ahrefs that too at price much lower than its competitors. Has a very well desgined UI and makes operating the dashboard relatively simple. Has a good collection of how to tutorials for beginners which are extremely helpful in getting started with using the platform. And yes, they have a great and extremely responsive customer support making troubleshooting easy.
They can certainly improve upon the backlink analysis as there are tools that give better results.
I have been using Serpstat to run my digital agency and it certainly has helped me improve the SEO for my clients compared to before. As a small agency we find it difficult to subscribe to SEMrush and Ahrefs and other tools because of theeir expense but Serpstat offers a great suite of services at relatively lower cost which is awesome.
This tool is an amazing alternative for the common tools like, searchmetrics, semrush, moz etc. Most of the features from the named tools are contained. It also has a lot of databases for a lot of countries to track keywords which is high valueable. Competitors comparison is also very helpful.
The website crawler is okay, but I am just using it as a second or third eye, because there are more comprehensive ones. The backlink analysis could also be better, but personally I am not focusing too much about links nowadays.
I am using it for tracking keywords and analyzing competitors.
Serpstat is one of the hidden gems that offer competitive solutions like other legendary SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or MOZ offers but at a cost-effective slab.
Still, the tool can dig into more comprehensive features like competing domains, gap analysis, etc. Also, some of the technical reports can still be user-friendly and easy-to-understand.
Serpstat helps me better understand my competitor's SEO efforts promptly to enable us to strategize our SEO plan of action and outrank them. Also, it allows us to save some money with its budget-friendly plans.
It has all functions I need. And it has a really small price. To be honest I started with this tool just because of price, but I still like it even though I can afford the expensive ones now. I just don't think it's sensible to pay more for the same functions. Serpstat is the most convenient tool for me - good value for money.
Sometimes it can be slow, but they usually fix it quickly.
Backlinks, keyword tracking and research, competitor analysis, site audit.
