Efficiently allocate time among team members, facilitate cost allocation, and create budgets for new developments. Ease of assigning and redistributing tasks among different teams. Time control and the most powerful featureTime control and the most powerful feature. The administration of the users and creation of clients with separation of teams and projects allows to efficiently manage each front of work, transfer resources and share experiences between the areas of the company.
There is not much to complain about from Runrun.it, the price is fair for what is offered, but it is expensive for a startup reality.
Organization and maintenance of the workflow, improvement in the pricing of each project and time management.
The system provides the timesheet control to a next level, being able to use kanban and cards of tasks alongside the time control and, the best part, the reports! You can take reports whenever and however you want. By the way, the report come in .xls, so you can create your own form of presentation.
Besides being complete and intuitive, it does take a little bit of time to adapt the process you have in your daily tasks. It becomes more and more intuitive as long as you take the time to understand how it works, how it can work with your flow and make the adjustments and tests. So, the point is: you have to dedicate a little bit of time to earn a lot of time after.
I work in a publicity agency, so we had a problem with pricing - we often did the pricing by pieces, arts or campaign, imagining how long it would take of us and how big the project was. After runrun, we learnt the right amount of time for every single tipe of job we have, and we started to make contracts based on hours of work, with precision. To resume, we did lost a lot of time to make reports of work done, and it didn't quite precisely described the reality of time we spent - which did causes us not to be aware of the work's profitability, and now, with runrun, it takes less than 2 hours to determine the precise time spent, how much it would cost to the client and how profitable it was.
Our agency uses the platform every day. Reports are perfect for the life of our business. The interface is super easy to operate and the team has easy knowledge of the functions.
The cost. We think it is more than the current price for us, we are more time on the platform, always adding to the service improvement. We think that the part os To dos, can be similar a platform "ToDoist", its so more easy to do the check list. And if the Runrun.it looks like a APP (DMG/EXE) in the hardware... we suffer with the team that ends up always leaving play on.
The cost of man hour. We can precified the new projects.
It was around 2013 when Runrun.it first came to our knowledge. At that time, we were sufferin from an unexpected boom in our projects, and our team started to grow, both internally and with external partners and collaboration with other peers. We began to feel the need for more structured project management and a way to track the productivity of our work. What immediately called our attention was the ease of use Runrun.it proposed. It has a clean design, and it's intuitive. Tracking time, dashboards, templates, many ways to visualize ad organize our tasks, and the possibility to have a holistic view of the tasks, activities, projects, and our entire portfolio the team's performance and productivity. The evolution of the solution is impressive, the cost is inside our expectations, and the customer relationship is fantastic. It pays off if you have the persistence and consistency in gathering the data of your projects because you create more reliable metrics of your own business, not external benchmarking.
It's hard to say something I dislike. Maybe the tools for team communication could be more explored. It wasn't catchy to our team. Sometimes we felt the need to recover all the comments on a specific project, but at that time, we didn't figure out how to recover it in a report form, like a timeline with all the records.
Most of all, by tracking and monitoring our tasks, we are creating our records for benchmarking. That provides us with valuable information for our commercial proposals. It defines with more assertiveness how much it will take to develop a new project and how much it will cost, based on our team performance. Another positive use we find is to create project templates that enable us to retain knowledge and improve over time.
Easy to use, intuitive, clean and effective, so summarize Runrun.it. The task register is fast and the control of what is being done, clients, projects and costs is extremely effective.
The layout of the notifications in the browser could improve, a simple bold would already help. Finding the tasks in backlog is not very intuitive, could stay in the task list of the users of each team. The app has some errors when it comes to delivering the task and downloading attachments, especially for IOS.
I was able to manage my team's time and take control of what was being done more or less, combining it at the cost of each project.
I really like the way how it is easy to set up and create tasks. Cloning existent ones, creating new ones and tagging it to help on the reports generation using the API. I like that you can register the hour's costs per team member and you can also have a balance of the costs spent. It is very intuitive and I really like it too. This together with the start/stop logic and the hour management. FANTASTIC! Another thing is the RR-Rating and it's gamification systems that engage the team. Plus it helps us in handling the team goals by giving prizes to the best ones. The API helps on the reports generation and it's very useful and the dashboard customization fits perfect for us.
I would like to be able to edit the description after the effort and the task start. Could be the creator of the task the only one allowed to edit it and in some way to display that change in a highlighted way. Like, display a quote with the edited place. The start logic is fantastic but I would like a better plugin or a more robust way to automatically handle that start/stop using the browser plugin or allowing it on the API to be consumed and incorporated on our internal system.
Daily and monthly reports. One of our incomes is by selling ours and with RunRunIt we can do it with more confidence and precision. We can plan better and control the projects better with a really good view from the dashboard.
The management functionality under time recording by activity is essential to price and enhance teams. Support is also always available!
The price can be a little high, depending on the size of your team.
Mainly service pricing and team accuracy.
Runrun.it brings benefits to all areas of the company for the purpose of aiding resource allocation management and according to their profitability, which is the priority of each. It optimizes the time spent managing tasks, makes it easier to measure the effort of each employee, and identifies risk points that can generate negative impacts on projects, such as delays in delivery. It has a clean, light interface, and one of the differentials is the possibility of customizing the work area, with really useful information for our company.
The lack of a cheaper plan option for small teams, and integration with other services, such as Git for systems development teams.
With runrun.it it was easier and quicker to measure the company's expenses, identify which customers had more demands from our support team, so we were able to better allocate our resources, and restructure contracts based on those provided by the system. Another differential was that it was 100% online, greatly reducing the cost of licensing per machine, and allowing collaborators to work from home in certain situations.
