I love how Podium is so user friendly. I have a lot of old guys using it now They are not tech savvy lol.
i don't like how the customer has to pick where to do the review. some cant remember their password and it's just in only one website. They should make it to where podium sends out to 4-5 of the main review sites.

Podium has helped our business to put the rate of capturing online reviews into overdrive.
Once becoming a Podium customer, we immediately began to receive calls and emails from Podium attempting to sell additional services to us. This has been a continuous occurrence.
Capturing online reviews was something that we struggled with before adding the Podium platform. We have since moved to the top in number of reviews in one of our markets and up to second place in the other.
We have concentrated on our reviews, and have seen a noticeable growt!
They are constantly changing staff and it is hard to find who we are to contact. When we do have a contact, they try to sell even when you just have a general question.

The ease of navigating through reviews and posting responses was nice. They do offer a chat feature as well for websites. We originally used it only as a review management service.
Sometimes switching between accounts wasn't easy. Sometimes there was a lag in reviews/messages showing up in the dashboard. Their usefulness became limited for us when we realized there were other platforms out there that could do the same thing, and more, at a more affordable cost.
We were helping clients manage their reputations through review invitations and responses with the app. It's always nice to have one place to go to be able to manage reviews from multiple platforms!
So far Podium has been a great tool for our business. The nature of our business is that our customers will talk to up to 5 different employees before they receive their product. Podium allows us to seamlessly pass the customer on to the correct person as they progress through the different stages of the sales cycle. We love the experience Podium is creating for our customers.
The con to Podium is that it doesn't feel like a fully baked software. We often run into a bugs and the technical team is not great at keeping you updated on the status of the bug you reported. Overall, we are a fan of Podium and are glad we implemented it. We look forward to their potential as the company grows and they are able to fix it's shortcomings.
Being able to seamlessly pass the conversation with a customer on to the correct person as they progress through the different stages of the sales cycle. ex: sales, scheduling, delivery crew, repair man, warranty..etc.
I like the ability to send text messages that say they are from the company that I work for. This allows me to notify someone that I'm on the way without giving my personal number.
The app does not pull up very quickly, nor do the conversations. I will get notified of a message, but I cant read it for upwards of 2 minutes sometimes. And this is with good internet service too. The data tracking is not that great when using the card reader. I have talked with tech support for months now and they can't seem to resolve this simple issue.
Communication amongst coworkers and customers.
I think it's nice to be able to text back and forth with the customer to make it easier for both the customer and the business.
I think having the columns on the side where you can see your customer and everyone else's gets confusing and could use some adjusting but overall, not bad.
It makes Facebook leads easier to reach out to for the whole team!
I like the preset notes and how responses from customer can be taken over by our central office so the tech can focus on getting his or her work done.
I wish there were more ways customer could leave feedback with linked social media.
We had an issue with messages being lost or just the time it took to respond to a customer which podium helped improve.

The location toggling can be a bit tricky and tedious.

We really enjoyed the review automations! We seemed to get a decent amount of reviews when we sent those out and it was incredibly easy to do. Need to increase the limit from 1,000 though..
The emojis when a text was getting 'too long' was pretty annoying to be honest. Sometimes a message needs to be longer than a couple of lines. It's also finicky when you try to go back and delete a portion of a message.
We trialed for messaging purposes to combine a webchat/fb chat/review response. It was nice that customers could respond via text so that we could always get ahold of them. We just didn't think the price justified what we were getting out of it as you can use FB Chat and have pre-templated responses waiting.
