Lavender gives me a true analysis of my writing quality. Oftentimes I would find myself guilty of going back and tuning my emails and templates over and over -- wasting time and normally not changing too much. Now that I have been using lavender for close to 3 years now I can confidently lean on the score they offer to know when I've written a solid email.
I really wish I could take advantage of the plethora of analytics they offer and an integration to our SEP would make it a lot easier to use. The lavender anywhere feature helps to solve this but doesn't feel as clean as the Outreach or SalesLoft integrations I had become accustomed to.
Lavender helps me know when I've written a solid email. Before I would be stuck in analysis paralysis referencing tons of different outbound sources while making a new outbound sequence or flow. Now, I rely on scoring over a 90% and my reply rates are feeling the difference! The Lavender team is made up of great people who are all eager to help you build a better outbound sales motion.
Lavender does a pretty good job of cramming a lot of functionality into a small chrome extension. It's very helpful to get feedback (based on best practices) on your emails in real time. The personalization assistant is also great for quickly personalizing prospect emails. Being able to use Lavender in your SEP (Outreach or Salesloft) is also very nice to have.
I had a billing issue, contacted support and still haven't heard back in almost a week. They need to work out some kinks in their AI, as some of the feedback is off-base.
Lavender makes it easy to write better emails that follow current best practices. It's also much faster to personalize emails using their personalization assistant.
I love the immediate feedback I get on all of my emails. It gives specifics of what to improve, suggestions on how to improve, and even shows what it will look like on mobile devices. It also integrates well with Salesforce, SalesLoft, and other tools.
Sometimes the long sentence suggestions are silly, and don't actually raise the score of an email. This seems really common with other AI tools as well.
Because of my vertical, I take far too much time customizing my emails. I have a tendency to get carried away. Lavender give me immediate feedback and reminds me to tap the breaks.
The team at Lavender have created such a wonderful Product. My feedback is that it's awesome. All parts of it. After using for 6 months, can sell that I am better salesperson. Not just by email, but overall. Thank you so much for your help!
Only thing was sometimes difficulty loading it up on outlook. But not enough to rate it any lower.
Got me more replies and started more conversations. Which overall, lead to more deals.
Lavender is the first tool I've used/implemented that reinforces best practices for outbound emails. Most tools optimize for efficiency, which is dangerous without hands-on training.
Handful of normal bugs, but the team is super receptive to feedback and very responsive as issues pop up.
#1 Training junior, external AEs without B2B experience on how to send quality outbound emails #2 SDRs can take a "first stab" at a sequence and it's almost always serviceable
Most products write the emails for you while Lavender teaches you the principals of what makes a good email so you learn to write it yourself. I think one of the requirements of using Lavender should be that oyu follow them on LinkedIn as well. The amount of content they post has helped me more than any sales class I could have paid thousands of dollars for. The actual product is very simple but powerful when writing emails, because what Lavender realizes is that emails are not a one size fits all. From a team wide perspective, very easy for sales managers to look at the data and analytics and know exactly how to coach their reps.
Right now the hubspot integration has some glitches. Bugs will be fixed soon hopefully.
Helping me get better reply rates and book more outbound meetings. I've noticed a significant increase in the amount of meetings I've booked.
It's intuitive. It gives me great feedback in real-time. It also suggests wording I never would have thought of that has led to a higher response rate on my cold emails!
I do wish there was a way to exclude a portion of it (like signature as someone else mentioned) to avoid a lower score, but otherwise, I really can't think of anything else.
Just getting higher response rates, not spending so much time crafting emails because it does a lot of the work for you.
It is simple to use, integrates easily with existing sales platforms, and helps you write better emails faster!
Not much to dislike about lavender, but if there were something, I would say the ability to add my team members to our group, even though we pay for Lavender separately. I tried to add my SDR colleague to my group, which charged me for both instead of individually. But we wanted to have our data compiled as a team.
Lavender is helping me make my emails shorter and easier to understand. Working in cybersecurity, it is easy to add complex technical or "buzzwords". Lavender helps me eliminate the technical jargon, simply the reading level of my email, which results in better open & reply rates.
