For website creation, hosting, or domain name purchasing, GoDaddy has long been a go-to for users. As a big-name provider, the platform currently manages over 75 million domains for 17 million customers around the world. Despite being a massive conglomerate, GoDaddy still provides low sign-up rates, which is why it is still a preferred platform by small to medium enterprises as well as blue-chip corporations. GoDaddy also offers high-value bonuses, such as WHOIS privacy protection, automatic renewal, unlimited bandwidth, and access to special offers and promos.

The main hosting control panel makes it very easy for me to check the status of many different elements in my hosting plan. I can add and edit MySQL databases for web forms and software installs, add subdomains, create new email addresses and much more. I also like that the IP address and other standard hosting information is along the left column. That makes it easy for me to access data to host domain registered outside of GoDaddy. I think the prices are also very good, which makes GoDaddy a great value web host.
GoDaddy isn't the fastest when it comes to page loading times. Since GoDaddy has many customers, it's very likely that we have to share our server with many other users. There will be times when other users produce a great deal of traffic or cause usage spikes in some way or another, which can greatly slow down our website's loading times. Though the customer support can be helpful, they can also take a long time to get a hold of sometimes.
GoDaddy gives us a solid platform for hosting our websites and single web pages for event registrations and promotions. Since we don't really have the need for the absolute fastest loading times, and don't have the budget to get the absolute best hosting package elsewhere, GoDaddy is a great fit for us in terms of services and budget. People that visit our web pages via GoDaddy usually have a positive experience and rarely complain about server issues.
Media Temple is a very good hosting service that is way better in customer service than GoDaddy. We moved to Media temple because of the poor customer service in GoDaddy. They are also reliable
There WordPress hosting service is not reliable. They will always push you to get your WordPress site into a dedicated server
Web site, portals, hosting, administration.
Basically the USA region hosting I mostly like from GoDaddy. I had no international cards to purchase hosting that time, (when I was student at India), but using UPI I got my 1st hosting panel from godaddy. Without any hassle or complicated, I got a godaddy account successfully. So, this is the core things I do like most from godaddy.
Sometimes, hosting offer is ongoing at godaddy, but its restricted for specific country. And payments are also restricted for specific debit or credit cards. But rest of the things, I do appreciate. I suggest don't restrict for region please.
GoDaddy saved my money, If I say. Most cheapest and reliable hosting service. I was a wordpress developer, and I mostly ran my clients websites on godaddy. But the support system should be faster.
Apart from Domain Registration, it provides web hosting and website building. User Friendly
Customer support is very poor. very less customization options.
By providing more customized options. Good Customer support.
Its streamlined, very easy to use and easy to set up domains. Easy to see what is available vs what is not. It's super affordable and hands off!
The website builder portion that is an add-on is clunky and annoying to use, therefore we have had to integrate other tools and a different website builder to find success. As far as the hosting- it's very easy to link the go daddy hosting to our new builder.
It allowed us to purchase our website domain and operate our entire online epicenter for a low yearly fee
I have used GoDaddy several times. It;s easy to use with lots of functionality like easy install Wordpress, cpanel etc..
customer care - no proper support, earlier is was easy to talk over phone but now its hard to connect.
I have used lot of hosting provider like namecheap, hostinger etc. But before GoDaddy was my first choice because of their own plugin and help me to create website instantly without no- knowledge of coding
Easy to configure. Free 24x7 customer support. Good deals on domains.
Not a cloud first company. Difficult to change hosting plans.
As a freelance developer, I have purchased a deluxe hosting plan with GoDaddy that allows me to host multiple websites. While I acquire more clients, I can use the same hosting space to host new websites.
All the hosting requirements, accessories and support at one place unlike other only hosting providers. Very easy to integrate and start hosting.
It is very expensive and each feature is expensive compared to others.
The technical support we need to spend on resources for hosting is compensated here, time and money are saved.
The most highlighting feature of GoDaddy.com is its user-friendly interface. Whether you want to host a website, design a website, buy a domain or buy plug-ins for your website, GoDaddy is surely a go-to option.
GoDaddy is quite expensive when compared to other websites. No matter it is completely clean and the money is quite worthy. But for people who are experimenting and are wanting to build a new website, or are newbies, it is not as pocket friendly for them.
I myself built my company's portfolio website using the domains and hosting bought from GoDaddy. The payment procedure is very easy and error-free as well they sell their products in a neat way. The benefit that I got was that I was able to build my website on my own without the help of any other third-party applications apart from GoDaddy.
Godaddy Hosting offers a great uptime which is of about 99.97%. Along with this it offers a great page loading speed and it offers more than 125 one touch applications as well. The pricing of web hosting is comparable. Basic plan is great and offers great value as well. It is quite cheap and can be used basically by beginners. Other than that, other plans offers a great bandwidth (unlimited as well) which in comparison to its competitors are quite better as well.
Godaddy hosting have many plans but on the other hand, when we compares it to it's nearest competitors, it's not at all inexpensive as well. The basic plan also does not have all the features that one might expect which includes SSL certificate, backup, security, site migration, and more. Also, the renewal rates are way too high. The money back guarantee is not very much clear as well.
We have initially used Godaddy Hosting for many of our side projects, which needs web hosting services. It have nice cPanel, so it's easy to use and setup as well.
GoDaddy sells and provides many products and service like web hosting, aside from domain names, website builder, email, etc. So, it can be a one stop shop. Thus, if your hosting through them, domain names, and others are with them as well, managing your website and business tools would be very easy.
However, GoDaddy Hosting is absolutely expensive based on my experience. Hence, we did not continue our service with them after 3 months, especially after finding a better provider who can provide us domain name, web hosting and website builder for the price of 1. Save whenever you can!
GoDaddy Hosting is a big help for those who want to have a website or become visible online thru official business name. A website need many things including hosting, with GoDaddy is becomes less expensive than hosting your own website thru your own server. But, nevertheless, it is still more expensive than others, so often, like us, we had to depart and choose other provider after couple of months, which we really did.
Intuitive and easy to use backend with legitimate domains
needing to use WordPress or other e-commerce for the live website.
Registering domains and renewals are easy, as well as pointing sites to other platforms
Its easy to search and buy domain names via Godaddy, but Godaddy ui is not very friendly as compare to other competitiors I have used.
Difficult in understanding where is your DNS and how to manage multiple websites from the control panel.
Until I found bluehost for my wordpress website, i was using godaddy and was able to run wordpress website on it.
I really like their packages and the login area to manage everything. Truly an amazing experience and loved almost everything about it when I was with Media Temple for my own sites as well as the sites of all my clients. I really liked the WordPress hosting as it gave all the essentials without overloading a newbie with too much detail and information.
I do not like the pricing and the support could use some work. I found that I was almost always speaking to the same people on the support chat which could be due to a low number of support staff, but I also about that many times I would leave the chat not knowing nearly enough of what I needed to do to get my request complete. The Parallels system could have used much better servers at the time I used them (2012-2015).
Media Temple is great for basic WordPress users and some of their products would be amazing for more experienced developers but I found that with Media Temple I wasn't solving enough of the issues I was having with Hosting to stay much longer.
GoDaddy has a portal that is very friendly and easy to use. The settings are really easy for us to use. Implementation is very quick compared to other big names. There are numerous features the best is CPanel. Integration of it with WordPress was very easy for me. We used GoDaddy hosting from 2011
Customer support doesn't know anything about hacking everything you ask which is a threat they will say it is an error. They don't know the solution to these digital threats. They just transfer the call to another manager head who just knows the hack, not the solution.
GoDaddy solved one major problem for us which was implementation from WordPress and the best thing is that it's easy to contact the domain owner for asking domain and it's price.
GoDaddy has a simple enough interface to make sense of buying domains and managing them whether you need to upload custom HTLM files or working using Wordpress or other apps.
GoDaddy does not make things simple from a technical standpoint. They hid alot of buttons and features to make switching from them or moving things around very cumbersome. The simple act of turning a domain's "auto-renewal" off is a 3 or 4 step process, because GoDaddy would rather you get frustrated and keep it on "auto-renewal".
The FileManager in the Control Panel in GoDaddy is very nice. With other Web Registrars you can not unzip files inside your FileManager and instead have to use an extractor app. Being able to work from one window saves alot of time and end-costs for our customers.
If there was anything that I enjoy about Media Temple, it's that they are pretty responsive when it comes to customer service. Unfortunately, that's about it. You will find that you are contacting them fairly often. The prices were fairly competitive as well. The security package was astronomically expensive, but the hosting itself from Media Temple was actually not too bad.
The up/down time is actually pretty awful. Also, let's talk about their "security" that they have in place. We were hosting about 400 different domains on their server, and we were constantly fighting off spam and malware with Media Temple. The customer service is pretty good, but unfortunately I felt like we were contacting them a few times a week because we were constantly having issues. The speed of the servers were also pretty lacking. At times we would get timeouts because the websites would fail to load, but other times I felt like the websites were blazing fast. The service was very on and off for us unfortunately.
We used to think that Media Temple was great for hosting, but we recently moved most of our hosting to another company. After switching, we realized just how little we knew about good hosting when we were with Media Temple. Please do your research on as many hosting companies as you can before deciding!
