I like the Flodesk functionality for ease of use. It's pretty and there's a lot of nice feautures including a checkout page! The customer service is super nice! I use it as my main email source.

It can be a little bit buggy at times and it works in templates more than full customization, sometimes it can be liming.

The layouts are gorgeous. I primarily switched to Flodesk from another mailing list provider because of the layouts and overall smooth look Flodesk offers. The aesthetics also focus on simple but elegant styles you might associate with fashion/beauty IG influencers. The price also can't be beat. I'm paying a fraction of what I paid with my previous mailing list provider, and the newsletter building features and visuals are top notch and better by far. I also appreciate that Flodesk doesn't limit you to small image sizes like some other providers. It was such a hassle to have to reduce file sizes on others, and Flodesk doesn't have that problem.

There are some issues that I wish Flodesk would focus on. First, I wish image sizes were more customizable. The templates only offer you a few image sizes, which means oftentimes parts of them will be cut off because there's no perfect dimensions. I wish the reports were more robust with a lot more options. Coming from Mailerlite, what you can see in the Flodesk reports is very limited. Drip campaigns / Onboarding sequences is another area that doesn't quite meet other services I've tried. I'd like to be able to create different onboarding sequences and branches so that I don't need a second mailing list provider for that and can just use Flodesk on its own. My one other concern is that their FB group can be insensitive to users posting issues. Our industry is kind of a small community in that word of mouth spreads widely and quickly, and that is not the kind of reputation you want.

Flodesk has really simplified newsletter drafting, saving me a lot of time I can spend elsewhere, and it looks really professional and visually appealing even when I just use basic templates. The cost savings have also been significant, and despite the drawbacks above keep me with Flodesk.

I love the template options that flodesk has. It makes creating a beautiful email easy! I also love the automation that you can set up when people join your list or sign up for your freebies.

It was a little confusing to work with at first. Also, I know there are ways to organize your emails by folders, but it isn't very seamless so I don't utilize that option. I wish the folder organization was a little better.

Flodesk's email templates are beautiful and the "drag and drop" user interface makes it really simple to use. I. like the ability to organize past emails in a folder for future use, and the automated workflows are simple and straightforward to set up.

Often times, emails to my audience (especially new subscribers) default to the promotions or spam folders. This is frustrating as only a small percentage see the emails. I also wish there was a capability to share templates with other users.

It's super easy to use. Absolutely stunning templates. The price is right. You get unlimited subscribers and the price doesn't increase like with most email marketing platforms.

It just came out of beta (was in beta for a LONG time). It can be glitchy sometimes. The support isn't the best I've seen with taking too long to respond or giving canned responses. It's not as intuitive or robust as platforms like Active Campaign and doesn't have all the measuring and analytics I would really like to have. Also, it can be difficult sometimes to upload your list(s) because they have a verification process to go through.

It's simple. It's quick. It's visually appealing. Benefits are saving money because of the cost but also not having the price raised as my list grows.

Unbelievable policies. Flodesk will shut down your account without notice and put it "under review," which can take from 2 -10 days. If you have a business to run; expect to lose money, have your launch disrupted, be shut out of any discussions with customer service, and gaslit in their Facebook group. (They erased my post when I asked for help when I was unable to send my newsletter.) Had I known that Flodesk could suddenly and without reason or notice shut down a legit customer's account like this, I NEVER would have signed up. I've used Mailchimp and Convertkit in the past, and this never would have happened. I searched past posts in the FB group and this has happened to numerous users. Unbelievable.

I can't say it's helping me at the moment, because my account is frozen.

Terrible customer service. Had just switched over from Mailerlite and regret doing so. It was definitely not worth it to pay and switch over. I'm also having problems with domain verification with Flodesk, which was not an issue at all with Mailerlite. Only a fraction of my subscribers at Flodesk is able to actually receive my emails. It was a huge mistake to use Flodesk.

The only way to contact them if there is an issue or question is by email which takes forever to receive reply. Once you receive a reply does not mean they can fix your issue. It is like playing football, moving the ball of issue from user to flodesk, back to user, never ending. The issue is never solved. Will migrate to Mailchimp if the issue not fixed for another 24h (has been waiting for 4 x 24 hours)
