"Solid platform for evaluating job descriptions"
What do you like best about Datapeople?

The best feature I think is the ability to have real time feedback on language.

What do you dislike about Datapeople?

At times, the site feels slow to load individual job postings and I feel there could be easier ways to concurrently edit multiple descriptions.

What problems is Datapeople solving and how is that benefiting you?

Finding qualified candidates is the biggest problem being addressed. With the feedback presented in the UI it is easier to catch issues sooner rather than later.

"Helps me see things differently!"
What do you like best about Datapeople?

I love that TapRecruit helps me see job descriptions in a fresh, new way. There are many subtleties that I previously didn't realize were barriers to getting great talent to apply for a job. Now I feel like I have a new lens in which to approach job descriptions and am able to apply what I've learned through TapRecruit when I'm starting a description from scratch.

What do you dislike about Datapeople?

The interface feels a bit clunky and dated. I think that it could have a fresher design and more seamless collaboration features, a la google docs.

What problems is Datapeople solving and how is that benefiting you?

The biggest problem I feel like I'm solving is having clearer, more straightforward, and more inclusive job descriptions. It's really helped me and my hiring managers focus on what we're really trying to communicate and do it in a way that helps us find the best talent.

"Getting much better now that there are changes being made and feedback being taken very seriously."
What do you like best about Datapeople?

The responsive nature of your team is great, it really sets you apart from others. Our account and the nature of the difference/vastness of our needs as we work many different types of roles and your work with your language team has greatly helped.

What do you dislike about Datapeople?

The downsides were that many of our technical and IT roles were very difficult to get high scores with but your team is addressing it and we are trying to use the product better.

What problems is Datapeople solving and how is that benefiting you?

Datapeople is helping candidates better identify roles they may be a fit for when it comes to openiings wihting our org. I also appreciate how the language used can keep people engaged instead of feeling like they may not qualify, we dont want to miss out on their applications while still wanting it to be a relevent application.

"Wonderful tool to support inclusive job descriptions"
What do you like best about Datapeople?

The tool is easy to use, provides immediate feedback, and coaches you along the way.

What do you dislike about Datapeople?

I don't always agree with the feedback. I understand we can choose to ignore or disregard suggestions but it would also be nice to have an internal lexicon.

What problems is Datapeople solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a company, we are focused on generating inclusive job descriptions, while still attracting the most relevant, experienced, individuals.

"Make job description design easier"
What do you like best about Datapeople?

With Datapeople, it is super easy to write efficient Job Descriptions, get instant feedback, and remove unnecessary details. The form is easy to navigate, and errors are easy to correct as you get clear guidance and suggestions.

What do you dislike about Datapeople?

Sometimes, you disagree with the feedback, so you can not modify the text, making it harder to reach the 80+ grade. It would be great to be able to send review suggestion in specific cases.

What problems is Datapeople solving and how is that benefiting you?

In my company, we use it for almost all Job Postings at a certain level. We use a template from hiring managers to start from. It makes it easier for the recruitment team to review and approve JDs, and to have standard postings.

"Really awesome tool!"
What do you like best about Datapeople?

I love the real-time feedback the tool gives you, and the color-coordinated system makes it easy to determine the issue. I also love seeing the score ticker continue to go up as I edit and remove specific verbiage from the job description.

What do you dislike about Datapeople?

When I am trying to click on a specific section to edit, and it's close by to another area with an issue, the feedback bubble of the other issue gets in the way. It takes time to try and navigate around it, so that can get a little frustrating. I've also noticed some inconsistencies between job descriptions. For example, a statement on one JD doesn't give me an issue, but if I put the same statement with another JD, it identifies a problem.

What problems is Datapeople solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before using Data People, I didn't realize having "soft skills" listed in a job description was a bad thing. It's helped me realize how many managers filled their job descriptions with these sorts of requirements instead of actual qualifications.

"A critical piece to an inclusive recruitment process"
What do you like best about Datapeople?

Datapeople is responsive to feedback and willing to make changes to make their product better for their customers. I like that it is easy to use with an intuitive interface and that the feedback provided by the tool is easily actionable.

What do you dislike about Datapeople?

While the interface is intuitive overall, some functions are not, such as how to publish a post from within Datapeople. The filters could be improved to allow users to set a default view of their own job posts rather than their entire organization so that there are fewer clicks required to get where you need to go.

What problems is Datapeople solving and how is that benefiting you?

Datapeople provides an easy way to make our job postings more inclusive to attract a more diverse group of candidates. It helps us to quickly keep up with job posting best practices without going out of our way to do extensive research.
