I use a company provided corporate Coursera account. Coursera is always the best learning platform when it comes to the variety of courses and options it provides to learners. You get to select N numbers of courses suitable to your profile. Choose any course, with your own time frames, and complete with your own planning and get a valued certificate.
The pricing is sometimes i feel a little high. As an employee, I, to some extent, can afford some certifications, but for students, its high, is what i feel. The prices of some key certifications can be made a little less.
Coursera helps me in making myself ready for new business challenges. I get my skills to sharpen and seek new skills through Coursera courses and the techniques are helping me real wor business problems.
Coursera provides you best online platform to learn at low cost, you can learn many professional courses as well as online master degrees and many certificates at afordable price but you can even learn free by audit the course. There is also financial aid availble for needy students. There is no registration fee or any other hidden charges, and their's no need to have an credit card to enroll or to access courses. I 'm currently enrolled in Google Data analytics Certification Course and IBM data anlysis Certification course.
Some courses don't have course slides but not all, and there's need to be scholarship programs for good students. I could not find Student counseling or some sort of guidelines to decide which course should I take, or which is best for my interests, You are on your own.
you can learn industry-specific skills through this platform. I have found it very useful in my journey towards data analysis. I have taken a recap of my previous learning in a short and specific manner. I can align my knowledge with real-world Capstone Projects.
> We can get the courses from the professors of the best universities in the world like Duke University, Stanford University, etc. > We can also get professional courses from the world's leading platforms like google. > There are specializations in different fields available on Coursera like Web Development, IoT, and all. > It is different from the other platforms like udemy as there you can just click on the complete checkbox and earn the certificate but here you have to show what you have learned in the terms of assignments. > Even the certification values of Coursera are a bit higher in the industry than the other platform. > You can also do online degrees from this platform in different fields. > There are some guided projects as well on this platform by which you can easily learn by doing things practically and there are not many theoretical lectures in them. > If you have any kind of financial problem you can also apply for the fee waiver scheme available in some courses. > There are also community-based features where you can discuss the assignments of the course.
> The very first thing I dislike about it is that our peers review our assignments. > There is no automation available in this reviewing system, suppose if a person has not reviewed your assignment you have to wait for him to review it first then you can proceed with the next one. > Secondly, You have to pay fees to get the certificate earlier you have to pay for the whole course but now at least we can get the content free. > And the fee for that certification is a bit higher than it should be.
> I can get the assured learning content free from this platform. > Earlier I used to look for some course on youtube or udemy but the problem them was there were pre recorded videos of the subject and those were really old as compared to the new technology. > But on Coursera content is almost up to date with the current technology. > Also I don't have to go anywhere for those premium content I can learn and upskill myself from the comfort of my home.
I like best the courses where you are not bound by weeks, where you can complete as quickly or as slowly as you want to.
I dislike that more and more of the material is costing money. Not even getting the certificates, but even taking quizzes is sometimes only opened up by paying. I understand you need to make money, but the appeal was the zero-cost.
When I need to learn about topics (coding, analytics, etc), I can take a free Coursera class instead of enrolling in a cost-based program.
I like the scholarship or financial aid option available to students or learners on Coursera. Though I like the course, the pricing is sometimes too high and out of my budget, but thanks to the financial aid program they are running, i can explain my situation and see for help and I have got good courses for free through the financial aid program.
The pricing of courses is a bit high is what I feel. being from a middle-class family, even though I would like to pursue some good courses, I cannot as the cost of the certification is too high to afford for my family status.
Coursera helped me in getting the right skills through its courses which helped me to acquire the necessary improvements to my work-related profile and find a suitable job role in the market and take the opportunity. The platform is so user-friendly and easy to access, enroll and study at any given time of our choice.
It is a platform with a wide selection of courses that enables us to access knowledge and content of the highest calibre for a reasonable fee and occasionally even free of charge. The user can download the systems, access them from any location, and receive a certificate after completing the programme.
The app has a lot of users because it provides valuable content and engaging, free courses. However, it frequently experiences performance problems and annoying hangs. Despite its value, the software must be improved for a better user experience.
Coursera expands access to education by offering courses on an online platform. I enjoy using Coursera when I want to learn new topics because I can learn from the best organisations through it. They also provided me with a certificate at the end of the course to prove that I had finished the course.
Coursera is one of the best E-learning websites for students. If you want to have a deep understanding of a technology or tool then Coursera is the best option. Course Instructors are really interactive and nice.
The only thing which I do not like about Coursera is there charge for courses. Coursera really charges very high fees for its courses.
I take python programming and machine learning courses on Coursera.com. Courses provided by Coursera are super interactive, assignments are really nice and the course timeline helps a lot to complete the course in less time.
Thest best in this learning platform is the content on each and every course. UI on the each course is too good and the way lecturers teaches is also very good. Another biggest thing that I like is the certification. It has so much value and it puts loads of weight in your resume. And I recommend this to everyone be it novice or expert.
Definitely pricing on each course. It is so much costly that normal personal or student cannot afford to do or getthe certification. Another thing is language barrier, some lecturers English is way fast and sometimes difficult to understand the concept. Apart from these two, there is nothing I dislike about it.
There are plenty of courses where you can kick start or change/update your career. As the content of every course is solid so, we can gain much knowledge on the course that you took. After completing the course, we can directly work on the live projects as it is giving me that much confidence. Not everything can be taught in offline coaching and I personally learn a lot when it is online.
