"Increased Pricing, Decreased Value"
What do you like best about Bubble?

Overall, this is an excellent platform for development, but it's not worth the money anymore for what you get. You'd be better off looking elsewhere for your needs. I have used No Code Bubble for eight years, and while I think the platform is excellent, I can't help but feel they are taking advantage of their users. The recent increase in pricing has made it much more expensive to use, and there are no limits to how much you can optimize your app for better performance. There is no good reason for these changes other than to inflate profits at customers' expense.

What do you dislike about Bubble?

I've used No Code Bubble for eight years and thought it a great platform. Recently though, they announced an increase in their pricing, and the changes are horrendous! It seems like the company is taking advantage of its users, who have no choice but to accept whatever terms they offer. They also claim that their new pricing will allow customers to "optimize" their apps for better performance, but this is untrue. All these changes inflate their profits while making it more difficult and expensive for people to use the product. I urge anyone considering No Code Bubble to think twice about it. Their priority is to make money, not provide customers with a good experience or product. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for your development needs.

What problems is Bubble solving and how is that benefiting you?

Bubble is a development platform designed to make it easier for people to build web and mobile applications without having to write code. It provides users with an intuitive visual programming language as well as plugins and APIs that helps them quickly create powerful apps and experiences. Unfortunately, the recent changes to the pricing structure and workload limits have made it prohibitively expensive for many users. The workload limits mean that if your app needs more capacity than what's included in the plan you have to pay extra fees or top up your usage each month. And the higher prices means fewer people can afford to use Bubble. This has stripped away a lot of the value it once provided, making it less accessible to those who need it most.

"Good Product, Bad Experience"
What do you like best about Bubble?

Bubble enabled me to build, test and deploy apps within weeks, not years using many different types of langugaes within a WYSIWYG editor. With a great community for support and a rollercoaster of updates riddled with bugs, you'll enjoy rebuilding your production app whilst you've got the client on your ack. A worthy experinece for new devolopers!

What do you dislike about Bubble?

Recent price changes have increased costs 5 x - 10 x depending on your use case. There is no longer vialbiity of using bubble beyond a simple demo making tool. The pricing listed on G2 is wildly wrong. Vendor Lock-In is real. All the benefit of No-Code has been wipped out with the No-Care approach.

What problems is Bubble solving and how is that benefiting you?

Bubble is a platform that provides a feature rich stack to build upon. Set up, testing and deployment can be achieved with confidence in a small amount of time. You will however be liable for $3 charge anytime a page loads.

"Revolutionizing Web Development: No Code, No Problem!"
What do you like best about Bubble?

Bubble.io truly stands out in the vast sea of no-code platforms, and the reason is its unparalleled flexibility. While many platforms lock you into specific templates or workflows, Bubble gives you the freedom to craft web applications tailored to your vision. The drag-and-drop interface is intuitive, but its depth goes beyond the surface. You can customize almost every element, embed third-party integrations, and even get down to granular conditional actions and workflows. It's a game-changer for both beginners and those who have dabbled in code before but want to speed up their development process. In essence, Bubble.io doesn’t just hand you a tool – it hands you an entire toolbox. This flexibility empowers users to build anything from simple landing pages to complex web applications without ever touching a line of code.

What do you dislike about Bubble?

Learning Curve: While Bubble.io is designed to be a no-code platform, there's still a learning curve, especially if you're diving into its more advanced features. Some might find it overwhelming initially.

What problems is Bubble solving and how is that benefiting you?

Swift Development Cycle: Without the need to learn coding syntax or troubleshoot minute coding errors, I've been able to bring my ideas to life in a fraction of the time it would take with traditional development. Cost-Efficient: Hiring developers or outsourcing software projects can be quite expensive. With Bubble.io, I've managed to circumvent those hefty fees, crafting solutions at a more affordable rate. Empowerment: One of the most gratifying benefits is the empowerment and independence I've gained. I'm no longer reliant on a developer's schedule or constrained by their vision. I can iterate, adapt, and refine my software as I see fit. Diverse Application Possibilities: From simple landing pages to intricate web applications, the flexibility of Bubble.io means I can address a multitude of needs without seeking separate tools or platforms. Collaboration and Community: Being part of the Bubble community has also been a boon. Whenever I face challenges, there's a vibrant and helpful community ready to assist, share insights, or provide feedback. In essence, Bubble.io has democratized software development for me, removing barriers and opening a world of digital possibilities previously out of reach.

"Stay away!"
What do you like best about Bubble?

It is amazing what you can build in Bubble. The issue is not what "can" Bubble do but how reliably it can do it. The longer you use the platform the more you experience weird data issues because the platform search capability stops working or you do an operation on a list of things without leaving the required 5 seconds between operations (yes, 5 seconds).

What do you dislike about Bubble?

Originally, I would have suggested that Bubble was good for an initial startup trying to validate its market fit. 5 years into it and I can no longer agree. This week Bubble unveiled new pricing that made its platform 8 times more expensive for many people. After years of building a non-performant system, they decided to change pricing models that charge from a fictitious measurement called a work unit. So now, the platform users are being charged for the resource time the poor system design requires.

What problems is Bubble solving and how is that benefiting you?

Customer facing applications. Benefit is that we are live with an idea quickly.

"Not for Startups Not for Solopreneur"
What do you like best about Bubble?

used to have a great community, but most of them are leaving now.

What do you dislike about Bubble?

Too expensive, don't really care about their small clients "Startups and solopreneur", they have increased their pricing 10X what we are paying now, and the way that you will be paying for your app is like punishing you for your users' engagement, so page view will cost you, if someone pressed a button it will cost you, and it is not even reasonable way it is way way expensive when compared to their competitor. for example: Using Xano is 182 times cheaper, yes this is not a typo.

What problems is Bubble solving and how is that benefiting you?

Not beneficial anymore

"Great no code platform. A must try !!"
What do you like best about Bubble?

The interface is straightforward to understand. With no prior experience in coding, I was able to learn it very fast and create solutions easily. It is great for testing ideas and building MVPs. The pricing of the platform is also very competitve to others in the market which makes it a cost effective solution as well. Any startup founders looking for a tech solution, should definitley try it and build upon their success. Highly recommend the platform. Great work done by the bubble team.

What do you dislike about Bubble?

The direct support or tutorials if you are struck are less, but that is improving, and I find that gradually it will be better. There are relatively less applications which can be directly integrated with the app. Apart from this there is not much to dislike, the platfrom is great

What problems is Bubble solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have been internally able to build quick solutions to show our clients without taking much help from the tech team. The platform is an excellent source for a quick turnaround also. We have leveraged the product both at the personel level and at an enterprise level. We are creating our own website platform using the platform and will be using it to launch our product soon

"Incredibly fast and powerful"
What do you like best about Bubble?

As a designer, this is the first time I feel so empowered, I couldn't find anything as powerful as bubble.io Currently, we're building a two-sided marketplace where we allow users to upload their own content and we approve it before it goes online. It took us 6 weeks of learning and 8 days of working to build the entire marketplace and bring it online, we have tried to build something similar in the past and it took 3 months to find a suitable developer and another 3 months of building, you can imagine the cost.

What do you dislike about Bubble?

It requires a few weeks to learn, but with anything this powerful, this timeline is nothing. Consider learning coding to get the same results, you need at least 2 to 3 years, not 6 weeks. One thing I would improve is the designs, but I am picky since I am a designer :)

What problems is Bubble solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's made it insanely easy for me to build a platform and work with users without needing anyone, I don't need a designer, a developer, a database expert, etc. I did it all by myself. And it is not just MVP, there are companies out there with USD 2.5 million yearly revenue and they're built on the bubble, one example is BetterLegal https://betterlegal.com/

"The best tool for no-code app building! "
What do you like best about Bubble?

Bubble is the most user friendly no-code app tool there is. There are a few other players in this market but none compare to the simplicity and ease of use of Bubble, and the powerful applications you can build are endless. There is a growing community of nearly 200k users now and really experienced developers and agencies operating on Bubble's platform, so its super powerful for newbies or experienced traditional coders!

What do you dislike about Bubble?

They have recently increased their pricing, which may put off some hobby apps but luckily they are still honouring the legacy plans for people already subscribed to those. The support team could use a lot of work, as they are not always the friendliest or active in the community, and I feel the founder of Bubble could be a lot more involved in caring and taking notice of successful apps built on his platform.

What problems is Bubble solving and how is that benefiting you?

App building and testing, mainly web apps but also mobile friendly applications.
