What do you like best about Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud?

For us, the best part of Exponea would be the Exponea team themselves. They are very supportive, incredibly effective in terms of working collaboratively to make the tool work for us, and have integrated it into our system to get up and running the best it can be. Throughout the process they were constantly contactable, very knowledgeable, and very committed to us as their client. In terms of the product itself and what the tool can do, it's exceedingly comprehensive and complicated, but in a good way. Since it's so advanced, we found great value from it already, and are very excited about what we'll be able to do in the future. Exponea is a very effective tool for utilising our communication to our customers, giving people the user experience that starts with the onboarding phase, and continues throughout with the ability to retain users more effectively. We've been able to leverage the tools available on our existing product, and establish a more comprehensive segmentation of our audience.

What do you dislike about Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud?

Being a very complicated tool, obviously a lot of work is going into the creation of new features to make this tool as comprehensive as it is. Sometimes smaller things can be overlooked, particularly from my side, I need to manage the system myself to set up new campaigns. By adding a few very simple features, such as copy-and-paste stuff, would allow us to replicate existing formulas, saving time for clients and help manage existing campaigns a bit better. I also find it difficult to know where to communicate the product feedback at times. Exponea is very content-supporting in terms of the technical help, but when it comes to client feedback, I think it could be better set in place, so it feels more like a two-way process.

What problems is Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

Exponea enables us to communicate more effectively with our users, adopting different platforms and different channels. It enables us to better educate our users about what we do, the services we offer, and enable them to get more value from us and the products we offer. At the moment, we are actively using scenarios in Exponea as a means of reacting with automated communication streams. So, when we onboard new customers, we can educate them on a step-by-step process over a period of time. We can use that to reach out to the users that haven't heard from us in a while, again, automating the process and making it much more accessible and usable for our Marketing team. Currently Exponea is giving our Marketing team a much easier means of querying our customers' data, segmenting users, creating campaign reporting.

What do you like best about Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud?

Honestly, the part I like the most is when you have great data on your hands, you can do a ton of stuff very quickly: analyses, reports, segmentations. You'll get an immediate answer to virtually any question. With reports, for example, I'm able to create one in 30 seconds flat. This saves time since I don't have to bother our BI team, where it would take them a while to conduct. You'll find your way though, whatever you're planning on doing. It's fascinating when we have a problem and find a working solution, then our dedicated Exponea consultant finds another solution, but always with a common result. It's a huge challenge to be better than our cosultant, who can perfectly explain what to do in the heat of the moment. I started to learn JinJa and it seems to me that there are a lot of possibilities that can be created, re-calculated, and personalized - it's another step to get more value from Exponea. Webhooks and APIs, for instance, open up a great deal of new capabilities: for a marketer with an IT background, Exponea is the bomb. Lastly, tracking and enriching customer data via GTM is very comprehensive. What we can track as an event, every click, every scroll, every customer action both on the web and in the app.

What do you dislike about Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud?

I would enjoy better documentation for JinJa. The Exponea expert should be able to handle JinJa, otherwise you're referred to support and consultants. There is a ton of power behind weblayers, but you need to know JS nad CSS to get the most out of it. Creating an email template is quite complicated, insights don't work well, it's not very intuitive. Alerting must be done via JinJa, for example, when the number of mail drops below a certain threshold. The voucher system can be improved.

What problems is Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

We're currently using Exponea for the simple segmentation of our customers (whatever can be segmented, we're segmenting). It's a simpler system to evaluate our campaigns, I perform analytics very quickly, when whoever from whatever team approaches me, I can quickly retrieve the response from Exponea. We've included promotions on the website, with the help of weblayers to show products that increase the conversion rate. Again, we can evaluate the A/B test very quickly, and thus adjust the audience in favor of a better varient. We're also including recommendations in blast campaings, which assisted in increasing our click-through-rate. Email scenario with dynamic content: product name in subject for the customer, price after discount and recommended products for the customer. In Drive, this was not possible, but with Exponea we're seeing great success. Weblayers gave us the opportunity to change some things on the website that would be difficult to change for our IT team. The data that Exponea collects gives us new possibilites to analyze with our BI team, which solves complex and robust analyses. We created a voucher system from which we can call a voucher via webhook directly for each customer.

What do you like best about Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud?

The thing that I like most about Bloomreach (formerly Exponea) is that when you have quality data, you can do a lot of things very quickly with it. This includes analyses, reports, and segmentations. The support team always provides an immediate answer to virtually any question. I can create a report in about 30 seconds and as you can imagine, this saves us a lot of time. It is the next step to getting more value out of Bloomreach. Webhooks and APIs open up an entire new world of possibilities. For a marketer with a background in IT, Bloomreach is absolutely incredible. What we can track as an event (every click, every scroll, every customer action) is very comprehensive.

What do you dislike about Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud?

One of the things that I wish was a little bit better about Bloomreach is the documentation. There is a lot that you can do with weblayers but you do need to have a good level of knowledge.

What problems is Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are definitely using Bloomreachh to make some improvements. We are currently using the platform for simple segmentation of our customers. This is a much more simple way of evaluating our campaigns as I can now perform analytics very quickly. I have access to data and reports so when I have colleagues from different teams approach me, I can easily give them the answers that they need. We are using email scenarios with dynamic content. We are able to recommend products for the customer and get the product name in the subject for the customer as well as the price after the discount. We are seeing great success with this with Bloomreach.

- Availability and flexibility of working with data and easy to use marketing automation interface. - The fact that we can have data in one place and turn these data into valuable direct campaigns saves us lot of time and stress. - The combination of data and ability to do campaigns in one interface is the main added value for us. - time to go live - Exponea is easy to setup, all it's modules are seamlessly operating together - time to value -once Exponea is setup, nothing stops you from staring to build use cases and deliver value... - We love some features like the possibility to work with Jinja language for personalisation of email campaigns. - The ability to personalise websites with web layers is also working well

What do you dislike about Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud?

We are quite happy with Exponea. They are improving very fast and fixing any bugs. As any tool Exponea has potential to improve, however their customer service is reacting fast and we feel like they are hearing the market requests. Within minutes and majority of the questions are answered on a first call, people are always helpful.

What do you like best about Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud?

We have been using Exponea for a few years now, after making the switch from one of its competitors. Exponea was in its youth at the time and I feel like our feedback has really been taken on board to help to shape the platform it has become. It has been very easy to get in touch with feedback, which is listened to and used to continually improve the platform. We have had great account managers and developers, who are very knowledgeable, easy to get hold of and always willing to help. The live chat is also a great tool to quickly receive responses on quick queries.

What do you dislike about Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud?

The visual builder, whilst great and very easy to use, can be a little restrictive. It it is served by a third party company and so it can difficult to get information when the system is down or if there are any issues.

What problems is Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is very quick and easy build emails and to see how the emails are performing - including any issues which might appear. We are also working closely with Exponea to create tests to serve better emails, to improve our use of available functionality and to optimise our open, click through and bounce rates.

What do you like best about Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud?

My favorite thing about Exponea is definitely the user experience. The user interface is so simple and so easy to understand for all users. It's actually fun to set up campaigns and get marketing results. When compared to tools we used in the past, Exponea is next-level stuff, especially in terms of new possibilities and its ease of use. I was responsible for the integration of Exponea from the business side, so I worked with the Exponea team then and also later on when we were setting up campaigns (especially in the beginning). Their support team is very friendly and they're ready to help immediately, and most of the time we can resolve any issues on the same day they happen.

What do you dislike about Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud?

I would appreciate a few more safeguards with respect to sending the wrong message to the wrong customer. Exponea always prompts you before launching a campaign, but some little things in our conditions can be overlooked due to the complexity of our campaigns. I gave this feedback to the Exponea team, and they helped me set up a test project with a test group of recipients, where I can run my scenarios and see if they work correctly, which did help. In general, Exponea is quite amazing, and they're doing a great job with the constant release of new features. Sometimes it's hard to keep up with everything that's new, but there's an extensive knowledge base that we often use and we find it to be helpful (and the search bar works, which is nice too).

What problems is Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

We've recently been working on the post-registration onboarding process, which includes a series of emails and push notifications. I also manage Exponea for our Retention team, and we've been focusing on customer reactivation campaigns and boosting engagement through marketing competitions. Exponea lets us create complex automated campaigns with multiple touchpoints through various channels by segmenting the audience all in one scenario. In other words, we can create an entire communication story line in one project, and this adds a lot of value for us.

The main downsides to Bloomreach are: - for all the flexibility bloomreach offers, that requires a great deal of time invested. In addition to this, it can be quite overwhelming to start until you feel quite knowledgeable about the platform - be careful with processed events because they quickly rack up. remember that everything generates an event - campaigns, facebook audiences, AB tests. A lot of times the best practises that you are told to follow make this worse

The accessibility of customer insights has massively improved for us since we implemented bloomreach. Also now that the platform is implemented we require a lot less dev work to get things done than in our old platform.
