Autodesk Fusion 360 Pricing Overview

Best user interface, easy to access any where just by using login ID and password because it's uses cloud.Auto save option is the savier when sometimes unexpectedly closes fusion.

Sometimes it's gets crash & difficult to identify the problem. Simulations give some inaccurate values, but it's ok. Some of features difficult to create it has its own limitations

Multiple users can easily accessible for a project or for a design. Easy to identify who edited last & what changes that users made. Rollback feature need some more update because it's has some problems.

It is one of the only cloud based PDM/PLM solutions available at a reasonable cost. Other software only offers PLM, no CAD storage and a significant set-up fee.

Need some more BOM functions such as being able to re-arrange the position of a part within the BOM. We also need to figure out how to integrate with our apparel design team who uses a lot of 2D and Adobe software.

We are improving communication with our supplier development, purchasing, engineering and quality teams. We have seen tremendous improvements in change management and maintaining project design freeze. We have reduced confusion about product specifications be being able to directly link documents and drawings to the part. Product cost is also finally becoming transparent across the organization.

I like the ease of use and administration of the software and that it's cloud based so not too biased on IT involvement. It's easy to setup using basic IT skills and so can be introduced to a wider audience for now.

Cost. It's quite costly compared to other PLM variants out on the market. However it does do a good job.

The benefits of installing Autodesk PLM 360 has been to bring together project data, updates and communications in to 1 platform for all to see. Using this software has made it easier to keep up to date with project progress and information sharing

Excellent interface, very easy to program. Drag and Drop workflow development with an ease-of-use design focus minimizes development and startup time. Ability to access the software from mobile devices adds value when utilized in a manufacturing environment.

Currently not able to open PDF files on a mobile device or plot Gannt charts. Calander view would add significant value.

Project visibility across multiple departments has dramatically improved. Easier for engineering to see current parts stock when integrated with an ERP system. Scripting automates part configurators without requiring additional software suites.

This software helped bring all aspects of the business together to collaborate on projects. It is great for assigning certain tasks to individuals. We also love the low monthly costs. For a small business, keeping costs low is important for us.

I would like to see more controls in place that protect documents and also some improvements on integrating the software.

Our business is constantly changing to adapt to our customers needs and this platform is great for managing that change.

I like that it is easy to use and very self explanatory, making all of the jobs you do easier and simple. This software is very useful and keeps everything in one place so it is easy to find and pull back up into your memory

Clearly the cost is a huge downfall, but that is with anything. Cost has to be considered when defining what you are using it for vs what it is actually worth in order to do day to day business.

designing and engineering across our inventory. It was great to have everything in one place but with that being said, we worried about confidentiality and safety concerns regarding our original designs.

I've come from a completely non CAD/PLM background, and I've been able to get up to speed with the way Upchain works quite quickly. Support has been massively improved in the last few months, and the speed in which developments/improvements are delivered is good. Feedback is taken on board and acted upon. I've dealt with similar sized companies in different fields who didn't take feedback onboard and just issued platitudes, but Upchain acknowledge that the system can always be improved.

It's not without its bugs and error messages (but as mentioned above, these are acknowledged). As I deal with end user support, I see more of the issues that users face when dealing with Upchain, and one of the main complaints is the errors given are vague and ambiguous.

The web based Upchain licenses have enabled us to take some people off of more expensive CAD licenses.

Upchain is clearly focused on simplifying complex PLM processes. Recently, we conducting a review of several major PLM platforms, and Upchain was the only one that our users were excited about. They were able to pick up on the platform with very little training, and felt like it would allow them to do their day-to-day job better. The Solidworks integration for Upchain is a differentiator. They've done a really good job bringing the major capabilities of the system into the plugin, and it does a really good job blurring the lines between "PLM Data" to "CAD Data". From an IT perspective, their Cloud approach makes it much easier to quickly get started with the platform. Their "Partner Enablement" team (Upchain terms for sales & support) has also been helpful in getting us on-boarded and trained.

Upchain does not have all of the functionality of a traditional, major PLM. This has been changing pretty rapidly, and they've been very receptive to our feedback in terms of priority.

We're primarily using Upchain for its Design Collaboration features, including CAD Management, Bill of Materials Management, and Change Control (ECO) . We're also using some of the document management and requirements management tools. As we, and the platform, mature, we intent to use it to manage the service & maintenance of our products.
