What do you like best about Apollo.io?

The ability to quickly drill down into data and create helpful, meaningful lists. Apollo has helped us ramp up campaigns and go though the entire process of lead identification, consolidation & reachout in the same day. It has significantly added value to my efforts around new customer acquisition

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

It would be nice if there were discounted pricing options for SMB's and startups who can't afford enterprise pricing. I believe there is additional value in Apollo that we are not able to tap into do to cost restrictions. I think for sales operations folks who would primarily be the users of this tool, it's a bit overwhelming and might be more effectively rolled out in piecemeal

What problems is Apollo.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

Enables us to identify & more easily communicate with target audiences for our products & services. Saves a tremendous about of time on prospecting and administrative overhead

"Apollo should be used every company regardless of size"
What do you like best about Apollo.io?

The quality of their data and their pricing. For a small business or startup, you can get so much done for free; while at the same time getting the data quality that other competitors charge thousands for annually. For a mid sized business, their pricing model is perfect in the event you run out of credits. For a mid sized business there isn't a competitor that can offer data that is of the same quality at a price that is even in the same ballpark as Apollo. For a large sized company, there may be some very expensive competitors you can afford that better data quality especially when it comes to direct dials and whatnot, but given Apollo's pricing and quality it would be crazy to not utilize it as backup or alternative.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

Some of the recent changes. I am not a fan of their latest UI update for example. I am concerned they may stray way from what they do best and attempt to pivot towards also being a full CRM rather than continuing to focus on data quality. I think they could do more to update the information for contacts they have in the system. They always have they contacts linkedin and sometimes (pretty rarely) you will find they haven't worked at the expected company for months. While I know they are working with big data, having a crawler (or expanding their existing one) go through their contacts LinkedIns and update any data if needed would be great. More could be done to verify catch-all email addresses.

What problems is Apollo.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

We solved problem of finding companies to target and subsequent contacts without paying thousands of dollars for similar software/apps that do the same thing but have inferior data quality. Benefits cost savings in the aforementioned area, and increased success in conversion to customers.

What do you like best about Apollo.io?

I love Apollo. Compared to other tools, it does what you need it to do and more for way less cost and a way easier setup. They are consistently adding in new features and therefore giving customers better outcomes month over month.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

Any negative feedback would be through a critical lens only. Ability to purchase one off credits at a reasonable price or to be able to export company lists only for a reduced credit cost would be amazing.

What problems is Apollo.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

Technographic data is important for our business. In addition, Apollo has helped us open up a whole new way of discovering buyers using their intent data tool.

"A truly delightful way to explore your market"
What do you like best about Apollo.io?

I've been experimenting with lead-sourcing workflows, and Apollo is the thing that has resulted in me sending doing the most actual outreach. There's no friction between finding leads and sending them emails. Then once they've opened the emails, you can call them immediately. It makes the prospecting process so easy. I'm developing a new business. I'm in the process of figuring out an initial target market. The ability to choose a set of people in a market, write an email, send it to them, and see how much traction it gets is invaluable. It's a fast feedback loop that feels like it is getting me closer to my goal very quickly. Also, it is affordable. Delivering so much value for the price. I'm upgrading to a plan for some features, but I think even the free version delivers a tremendous amount of value.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

Things have been great so far. The only real issue I've faced is that one day the site took a little while to load. Other than that, I've been super impressed with the software.

What problems is Apollo.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

Apollo solves the problem of figuring out a target market, and positioning myself within it. Once I've done that, it will also help me proactively reach that target market.

What do you like best about Apollo.io?

As part of the Business Development team at a recruiting firm, I've found Apollo.io invaluable for finding verified contact information for anywhere from 1-2 people to 250+. Their seamless integration with HubSpot has been a timesaver and helps to keep our searches & lists organized based on target audience/specific project. The search functionality is in-depth and provides ample filters to drill down on specific audiences. The search results are continuously robust, making Apollo.io not only a must-have for verified contact information but also a significant resource for discovering new business leads. The staff is extremely helpful and responsive, and the training and additional resources provided are a huge bonus. In addition, the pricing structure was appealing as it was one of the only cost-effective platforms for our smaller organization. I would highly recommend Apollo.io to anyone in Biz Dev or Sales, especially if there isn't a huge need for a costly enterprise solution (although they do that well too!)

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

While I dislike Apollo.io very little, getting used to the search functions takes time since there are so many options. However, it becomes pretty easy and intuitive after spending time in the tool to familiarize yourself and review the training materials.

"Game changer for emailing"
What do you like best about Apollo.io?

Update: got my gmail account blocked two times since using apollo in EMEA. Its only been week 4. Using it underguidelines below 50 emails in another case just 8 emails sent to highly targeted profiles. Before I didnt have an emailing or sales engagement system. So I needed to find a low cost and highly effective system. This meant finding both verified emails and phone numbers. I was uncertain in EMEA what results Apollo would have since they are based in the US, but so far the phone numbers are doing well, like 30-50%. I also needed an email and phone engagement tool to link up with my CRM. So I tried piecing together a solution, but I saw that for the price and value it didnt make sense not to try Apollo out. Its turning out great, got some SQLs.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

I regret that I have to look elsewhere for a phone system since I dont understand the international phone options or the pricing. Im based in France calling EMEA and US as well.
