I've been using Adobe products for so long that to me this software feels super easy to use. I love that once you learn how one of their pieces of software works, you can pretty much extend that to anything in their suite. Illustrator is my go to for vector graphics, which I like to use for academic posters and presentations that I know will be blown up to large proportions (you don't need to worry about images looking pixelated)

Nothing! I don't have a problem with Illustrator

I utilize it for my design needs. Vector graphics for presentations and academic posters which will be blown up/printed large. That way, I don't have issues with images looking pixelated/unprofessional.

Adobe can turn anyone into a digital artist. I appreciate all of the different filters & artistic flair I can add to my work. With Illustrator I can look like I spent hours on a graphic that took 10 minutes.

It can be a bit overwhelming because there are so many features. I had to take a week & just explore & figure out everything the program had to offer. Less is more, so maybe a slimmed down version for people who aren't experienced graphic designers to use.

I am using Adobe Illustrator to make web graphics, digital art, and to design logos for my small business. I have saved money & become much more productive because I can do my own graphic designing now.

Creating vector images is easy with this software. Haven't seen any other software that can do this

I have been using Adobe Illustrator for years, and because it is the industry standard, there are regular updates, any bugs or issues are usually quickly fixed. The tools are the standard you would expect, and I am yet to find any features missing that I would like to be able to utilize. The massive user community means there is a lot of help available online if you want to learn new skills.

From time to time, issues released within updates can cause crashes and interruptions to my workflow. These occasional challenges cause frustration which I have experienced within many Adobe products. But the benefits outweigh the inconveniences. I don't particularly appreciate that Adobe forces me to pay monthly for a product I could buy one time every three years or so.

Adobe fulfills all my needs for a vector graphics package. The near-seamless integration with other products in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite makes it very convenient to switch between vector and raster graphics. I can pull vectors into Photoshop and still can fully edit the vector graphic in Illustrator, even after applying raster effects to it.

The best about Adobe Illustrator is its constant innovations and features. Although it's known for 2D designs, it has features where you can put your design into a 3D shape, like a sphere. Additional to the 3D quality, it allows you to change the lighting, add texture, and place effects onto your design in its 3D shape. The newest upgrade now instantly activates missing fonts in your documents instead of searching and redownloading the font yourself, which is helpful for me. Though most unique features are the best for me, others include more accessible access to change shapes, sharing your document for others to comment on, and extended uses for original tools.

I don't particularly appreciate how Adobe Illustrator doesn't support vectorizing images as much where you'd lose much data and information of the graphics if changes are done. I don't like how when you lock several images or graphics in place, you have to unlock all of them, not select only one to unlock. I also don't like how my Adobe files are continuously shut down without notice even after every update to fix its bugs in the program. Additionally, I particularly don't like the pricing with Adobe Illustrator in which I would have to buy other Adobe programs instead of buying for only Adobe Illustrator.

Because of Adobe Illustrator, I finally started on my T-shirt design store to earn a profit. I continue to use Adobe Illustrator for completing side projects, such as logo designs, flyers, or graphics for my church when needed. I have also personally created my own creative resume on Adobe Illustrator, as well as set a base for practicing with tutorials. I realized the benefits of having Adobe Illustrator make it a place to brainstorm and store my creative process and designs.

It's an easy-to-use tool. It helps you design tons of elements and graphics. There are many pages with vectors that can complement your works with Illustrator.

I don't dislike anything, the only thing is that Adobe, in general, has different solutions for different needs, so you have to be changing app to app depending on your need.

I can design banners, social media posts, ads, logos, anything required for my business.

I like how open-ended the possibilities are when making figures. I have been able to make various designs depending on what I need with ease. The search function is also beneficial. I use this software on a weekly basis and couldn't imagine not having it.

I don't particularly appreciate that when you start using the software, there is a big learning curve. It takes a while to get used to the various functions and tools and how to use them.

I can make figures and illustrations with ease. It is easy to depict the information needed. The resolution of the figures is always clear. Figures have been used in papers and many meetings.

I like the variety of tools that adobe illustrator offers, and that there are videos in order to learn about the software itself.

I dislike that the software often crashes.

I am solving the problems that I am not able to solve with Photoshop, and I feel as though it is more user friendly and new user friendly.

I love the quality of the products it delivers; you can create unique graphic pieces that, when exporting those, you still can see how well done they are. And it's very user friendly when you use other Adobe Applications

I genuinely love this application, and if I had to recommend an application to design and create graphic content, it would be Adobe Illustrator; the only thing that I dislike is that when exporting isn't that clear to complete the process

I learned to design by myself, and Adobe Illustrator was very user friendly when I first started using it; because of this, I have been able to get new jobs, and there are a lot of benefits like the quality of the content, the versatility in the resources you can use

Once you understand the basics of Illustrator, there's no limit to what you can create. Plus, the software is powerful yet can be used by both beginners and professionals alike.

The only thing that I dislike is not really a negative at all. However, because Illustrator is so featureful, sometimes, it's easy to forget where to find functions that you don't use as often.

I use Illustrator for everything from designing new icons, creating templates for business cards, building logos and branding designs, to creating print-ready artwork for cards, posters, and standups.

I like how easy it is to work with vector graphics, and how easy it is to import AI files into other Adobe apps like Photoshop and Premiere.

I don't like how the app is laid out significantly differently than Photoshop. It'd be much easier if the tools of both were more uniformly presented.

I use it for many client projects. It helps me be very efficient in turning around vector graphics.

I love that illustrator uses art boards and layers. I love that illustrator is vector based, and I love that it integrates easily with after effects when animating.

The only thing I dislike about any Adobe product is that they aren't free. $600 a year for the cloud subscription is a bit expensive in my opinion.

I love Illustrator! It's a fantastic design program that gives the user as many tools as possible to create anything they can dream up. I also like the new subscription model with Creative Cloud. In additional to keeping me up to date with the latest version, it also offers some really great apps I had never used like Adobe Shape and Adobe Capture. Adobe CC also seems to crash way less than it did back in the day. There's also some really great cloud sharing features too.

The price is really tough. Luckily I work for a company that foots the bill for my use but if I were freelancing or working for a nonprofit or something it would be really difficult to afford. It's a fantastic tool so obviously you get what you pay for but it is really expensive nonetheless.

This product solves every graphic design need I could think of, with the exception of the problems solved by Photoshop (which most people typically bundle together). I use it to design print materials like business cards and mailers as well as digital design pieces like social media content and web content. It's a great product.

Adobe Illustrator has changed over time. It is the best tool ever for graphic design, and I also use it to create vector files (SVG) to cut and engrave using a laser cut machine, a cutting plotter, and a CNC router. It is easy to learn, and every upgrade has better features. I have been using Adobe Illustrator for years, and I think it is the best software of its kind. I believe there is no better software for 2D design, and it is worth its price. I have tried several paid and free software, and I can tell that no one is better than this.

What I will change in Adobe Illustrator is that when you apply a clipping mask, the shape lost its color, and you have to define its fill or stroke again. It could be awesome if the clipping shape keeps its appearance. It is the only thing I don't like; the rest of the features are great and easy to learn. I have been using Adobe Illustrator for years, and I think it is the best software of its kind.

I use Adobe Illustrator to create graphic design pieces such as posters, stickers, signs, web banners, social media posts, etc. I often create vector files for laser cut machines, cutting plotters, and CNC routers. I have also used to create silhouettes to be extruded for 3D printing purposes. Adobe Illustrator is the most outstanding software for 2D design ever! I have been using it for many years, and I have not found any better of its kind.

The images remain sharp, and the quality looks fantastic, no matter how large you make the item. I love how simple the application makes logo design and editing. The vector images remain as crisp as if cut out of sheet metal.

I didn't find the tools very intuitive at all. Cutting doesn't cut, and breaking an object apart is something that you need to have a thorough understanding of before attempting. If only I had made a point of watching the tutorials from Adobe, I would never have had that issue.

Designing logos and scaling them up for use across different types of media, as well as character design for simple animations. Once you get the hang of the application, it somehow comes to life and makes you feel like you have been in a dream world with badly drawn things around you.

I can create anything professional with Illustrator. We create our catalogs,logos, flyers, business cards, yard signs, postcards, tradeshow print materials. When updates are made I like that they dont get rid of the older items that I know how to use.

It would be nice to be able to edit photos in illustrator versus editing in photoshop and importing into illustrator. It would also be great if we could export into JPEG and not just PDF.

We are professionally marketing for our companies with illustrator versus having to export designing to a designer. We can do it all in house.

Adobe Illustrator is a very easy program to design and vectorize images with an ease of very useful tools, in this way I have the designs very professionally. Also I really like the ease of being able to open files created by the same adobe suite, this is a great help since it makes it easier to continue professionalizing a project

Adobe Illustrator requires a lot of patience because due to its multiple tools the program becomes very complex, it is not disgust but you must be careful when you want to do a job professionally

With Adobe Illustrator, it allows me to create logos and emblems for my company, it is a great tool and this program is one of my favorites because of the utilities that I give it are the ideal one for my needs within the company, also thanks to this program I have been able vectorize some images that I want to give a more professionally touch

It's easy to use and the help tutorials are very useful for beginners. There are many things you can achieve with illustrator and the program produces very high quality work.

For a beginner, the range of tools could be overwhelming, but there are different workspace options that package different tools for different needs.

I'm able to produce high quality vector artwork for digital and print, as well as artwork necessary for promotional items and employee gifts.

At first, the best thing is its synchronous design which allows you to work on the same project at the same time in different software which makes life a lot simpler.

there is nothing much to dislike, but maybe a default autosave feature can be added, cause many a time I have worked on a project and forgot to save it all the way, and in the end file got corrupted because of my CPU Usage.
