They offer SSD servers and don't oversell the servers. Other than that it's pretty standard WHM / Cpanel stuff.

A2hosting unexpectedly stopped my account with 4 sites for having 2 sites that are actually not illegal and even not important for me. I didnt even receive an email for the ticket A2hosting created!!! I found out that my account is closed when i saw a huge SERP drop on my serp tracking. And this is the second BIG seo issue. The first one was that my other 2000$ VPS account was linked with some a2dns.com domain and it was crawled by google with the content of the hosted site. Creating duplicates!!! This is outrageous!!! I feel like i am betrated, i spent so much money and i received attitude of a free hosting. Thats A2hosting for me now: A free hosting for 3000$. They just ban you when they decide and for what they decide.
SEO ISSUES!!!! These people dont care about your business. I had 3 accounts with them and 2 of them got SEO issues because of their incompetence. Just never use them for something serious

After purchasing my Hosting I was requested to provide further information for fraud prevention. I found this insulting and very vague from A2 in terms of what constitutes a fraud screening. Never have I seen from a hosting provider this much scrutiny. This was upsetting and clearly a red flag to how A2 views the relationship with their clients.

The downtime of 6+ DAYS (!!!), the support doesn't respond and doesn't care to update the status/provide the ETA, NO backups are available. All the uptime commitments are a big lie. It's absolutely wasted money.

I have an expensive managed VPS (nearly £1k a year with everything included), and one of the Wordpress websites on it got infected with malware. The first I learned of it was the whole VPS being 'suspended' causing all websites on there to disappear (many people therefore upset). After finally getting a reply from A2 and getting the server unsuspended they didn't say why it had been shut down initially and shortly thereafter it got shut down again. They then said it was because malware was bombarding the SMTP server, so they blocked the SMTP port (should have been a reasonable temporary solution). Then they suspended the server again (3rd time in one day) and it took them over 12 hours to reply. I had to chase them this morning via live chat, which didn't help either. So I upgraded to their expensive 'priority support' at which point some non-technical person said they had over-ridden the suspension, and this uptime then gave me just enough time to remove the malware. Then the server went down again. And now I am waiting for a reply to my priority support ticket to get the server unsuspended so I can have another look at the problem. It's funny really how a 'managed VPS' solution that costs £1k a year gets suspended without notice or warning as a result of something they can't help resolve. A2 is not helping me by repeatedly shutting down the server, they are actively and enthusiastically hindering my efforts to resolve the issue in good faith.
