I liked that I could spend more of my time crafting a good email once, and tailoring it for a larger group. I also liked that I could view the emails before I sent them and make small alterations or personalizations. It was helpful that they were all in one window.
It was pretty unclear how many emails I could send and when they would begin to be sent. I was running a Kickstarter project, so it was important that the emails went out exactly when I wanted, which was made difficult (and unexpectedly stressful) with this. Also the email sending limits were annoying, but I think that was a Google thing.
I used Reply.io for the mailing list of my Kickstarter project and sending personalized emails to different sub groups within the mailing list. This saved me a ton of very valuable time.
Reply's clean interface and constant stream of feature enhancements makes life easier. I find using it to be simple and intuitive, which helps me launch new campaigns faster. If I had to send an entire series of 5-7 follow ups manually (like I was doing with StreakCRM), emails wouldn't get sent as consistently.
The auto categorization can be improved. The inbox category shows an email as 'Interested' because a reply came in. In actuality, many of the replies contain negative language like 'no thanks' or "I don't want to hear from you anymore' which should be 'Not Interested'. Secondly, it would be great to see an estimation when the next Step of a campaign is scheduled to be sent.
Freeing up time away from manual email follow ups. Reaching my target market at scale, in a personalized way.
Automation. It takes me 2 minutes to setup and schedule a campaign and before I know it I've got replies flooding in. It saves me an incredible amount of time.
It's expensive. Support is useful, but not polite. They seriously need to work on their customer service (eu support staff).
Mundane cold email sending and a higher reply rate. Tracking follow ups were hard to do, now they are a breeze.
It is very intuitive and the interface is lean. It is also competitively priced.
Once you create a template, you cannot change its name. Instead, you have to delete the template and then make a new one.
My company uses it for cold outreach emails to our leads list. Basically, every sales demo we've scheduled has come from our campaigns in Reply.io.
I love that I can quickly add contacts from all over the world to various campaigns and know that they will consistently see emails at the right time of day for them. Since I started with Reply my workload of following up on cold leads has decreased significantly and I've been able to depend on receiving warm leads as a result.
Takes a few minutes to figure out how to set up timing and a campaign but once you get the hang of the program it's a breeze.
Increasing sales from cold email lists.
Reply.io is is very easy to set up and get your first campaign going. All you have to do is set up your email address for sending emails through reply, set up your first campaign, and then add people to that campaign. Additionally, their support has always been extremely helpful with any issues or questions that I've had.
I had some trouble setting up my Gmail account to send from my reply account. The problem was resolved quickly by support but it wasn't as easy as it's made out to be. Once the email is set up you'll never encounter any problems again. The email campaign reports could also use some work. They give you basic numbers like open rates, reply rates, etc. but I'd love for it to have built-in link tracking as well. You still need to add your own contacts which can either be done through lead generation software or manual lead gathering. That's a completely different problem than what Reply solves.
Reply.io saves me at least 10 hours a week because of the automation. I love being able to create a handful of templates, add them all to a campaign for A/B testing, add people to the campaign, and then watch the campaign data compile. I've been able to test lot's of email campaigns and refine them to increase my open and reply rates over time. If you're willing to test lots of templates Reply can increase your cold email success.
Reply has been very easy to use and helps our company meet our mass emailing goals that other applications couldn't. I like how intuitive it is in categorizing email responses for me and reporting the stats for my weekly sales reports. Reply customer service is amazing! Any questions I had when first setting up our account were answered immediately. They did whatever it took (Skype, screen share, etc...) to walk me through getting our email accounts set up and synced.
Two things I dislike are: 1. I can't mark someone as "Replied" manually if they did not receive an email through Reply. I have to mark them as "Opted Out" if they call us directly or contact us through our website. and 2. I wish there were more formatting options for the email templates. I have to find a work around copy and paste to get the bullets on there or else I'd have to use asterisks.
We weren't able to send the number of emails per day that we wanted in our previous email program. We need to reach large numbers of people during certain time frames and we are able to do that with Reply.
Pretty much everything! The interface is clean and easy to use, it automates an important part of my job, and they have the best customer service I think I've ever experienced. They're there around the clock, and able to help within minutes.
I wish the analytics were a little bit more detailed, but it's a minor complaint.
This is my email campaign tool. It's outstanding.
Although I have no experience of outbound email tools, it was very easy to get started with.
The latest release has addressed most of the things I disliked.
We are emailing 3,000 contacts a week. This tool allows us to do personalised emails at scale.
Reply provides a user friendly platform to properly qualify and re-qualify prospects and marketing qualified leads. It really is a co-pilot to my sales success by giving me more time back to speak with my customers and less time managing emails. In a nutshell Reply allows for the consistent, measurable and repeatable emails to potential customers over a period of time, maximizing the number of connections that can be made every day. This allows me to step in and continue the conversation when there is a real opportunity or know when a leads has gone cold and stop pursuing that avenue.
Initially there has been some growing pains for reply and maybe 12 months ago I still wasn't quite confident with running larger campaigns without getting flooded by emails bounces and automated responses. That has largely been fixed through the dedicated support of the Reply team. There is still some improvements to be made with the Salesforce sync process, including better reporting of what has been synced. Another issue is the lack of documentation, initially learning to use the platform was trial and error though the documentation has improved and the support team a very helpful.
I had to qualify a huge number of marketing qualified leads in a way that didn't cross over to my own prospecting. Reply has help me to create a process that quickly identifies who I should be talking to in a way where I can measure the effectiveness of my messaging while tracking who I am communicating with to. Since using Reply effectively, I have quickly developed a huge number of opportunities from a stale leads list while also getting the most value out of Linkedin Sales Navigator.
I used this platform to send out a drip campaign to generate qualified leads for some of our newer solutions. I really liked the ability to perform a/b testing while sending automated email based on client' actions. The platform also allowed us to keep the human element by sending the emails directly from the individual email accounts of our sales team while still having the ability to see (on the marketing side) the direct responses from our clients. The customer service is outstanding. You can really tell that they care about solving user issues and product improvements.
I've had some issues with the templates - copying them over and sharing them across campaigns, but this is not the main feature of the platform for and I have created workarounds to manage it.
Given our tight budget - I was looking for an affordable platform that allowed me to send out automated emails, directly from the mailboxes of my sales team, when I needed to. I didn't want to get caught up in an expensive long-term contract for a platform with features that I didn't need. I found ReplyApp to be a simple, affordable, and effective solution.
Reply stood out to our group from the get go, with its streamlined integration into Gmail. It saves us a lot of time in training people who work on our marketing, as they can "live" inside Gmail and automate communications that otherwise would take hours each day. I also have been impressed with their customer service - every request I've made via email has been responded to within 2 hours.
Scaling the app/service to a full team of users can be pricey.
We've cut down the amount of time we spend running outreach campaigns by at least 50%. Said another way, each individual employee working on marketing outreach has been producing at least twice as much per week using Reply than they were prior.
We really like setting up smart campaigns on Reply with steps that helps us follow up to our both inbound and outbound leads in certain times we want. They have also a great import tool and the customer support is really strong.
Sometimes, we are facing some interface issues like freezing, or not working buttons but I'm sure they're on these to make it better.
We're using this app to reach both inbound and outbound leads. It helps us reach cold people with warm mails while it also helps us manage our inbound leads that are in our free trial process with it's API.
We vetted several other sales automation platforms (outbound.io, SalesLoft) before winding up with ReplyApp. We chose them because of their relative cost and the fact that ReplyApp has all the bare-bones fundamentals of what you're looking for in platform like this (basic reporting, automated bumps, A/B testing, automated removals from drip campaigns). But by far the best aspect of Reply so far has been their customer service. Twice I've called to change our subscription / ask questions and both times was greeted by a co-founder who provided prompt, friendly service and genuinely wanted to know if I was receiving value from the tool.
Reporting around email could be better. It's still pretty manual for us to glean meaningful insight into the success of each campaign, but this feedback is mainly based on UI preferences rather than actual functionality.
We use ReplyApp to run targeted outbound email campaigns. It's very easy to upload CSVs, set up a campaign, write copy, and push the campaign live within about an hour.
Fairly easy to navigate a you can set up a campaign very easily. Customer support has always been very responsive via chat.
Some parts of the workflow are a bit clunky. I don't like that I have to make a campaign on one section, then go to contacts section and push contacts to the campaign, then return to the campaign section to resume. Would be nice to add contacts to the campaign directly.
I save hours of work on emailing leads, and my follow up is always consistent with ReplyApp.
- The whole idea behind it. Email drip campaigns to existing leads that are set and forget until the lead responds, then you take care of them manually. Works fantastic. - The ability to integrate custom SMTP servers. - Being able to create multiple campaigns running simultaneously
- Sometimes loading can be slow. But I'm an impatient person, so that's just as much on me. - Limited number of email accounts that you can add
Looking to engage existing leads. Makes the follow up process much easier since you only jump into the conversation once your lead expresses interest or responds to a question in your email.
That you can 10x your sales efforts with minimal effort. It's a very intuitive app that is simple to use. You can set campaigns that pertain to specific buckets of prospects. You can then add contacts in bulk, and also add new contacts manually in the future. Really helpful in our case because we have prospects that engage with our app in different ways. We can take a look at their activity and then add them to the proper campaign in 5 seconds. It's automated 75% of my manually-based tasks, freeing me to provide higher value to my demo calls and to my organization as a whole.
Some design/aesthetic improvements could be made, and I've been informed that they are working on them. The campaign/contacts page can get cluttered but it doesn't affect the functionality of the app at all so really not much of a downside.
We've automated outreach and boosted our productivity with half the effort. Our team members have 10x their output and now we're watching the sales roll in. We bought 1000 contacts for $70 and DOUBLED our monthly sales. It's clear we've gained a massive ROI. TL;DR: use this app!
The fact that its so simple to use - easy temple format + guide to send follow up emails + you can view the number of times a person has opened your email
I've had a few problems using ReplyApp on MS but I believe it's fine now - the team is pretty responsive!
They are solving multiple business problems in sales/lead generation, and have applications in multiple areas as well.
The great differential of Reply with other tools is the possibility of automating actions on LinkedIn and crossing it with other channels, such as e-mails, which allows a comprehensive approach to the user. In addition, it takes care of your campaigns and your reputation by stopping the first mailings in campaigns that exceed 15% bounce rate.
As we are a Spanish-speaking company, many of the mail analysis functionalities are exempted for us. I think this is an improvement for the future: to be able to adapt Reply to all languages, even more so with the massification of Chat GPT. On the other hand, an improvement that would be a great plus for the tool is the automation of WhatsApp, which would already make it the ideal tool.
It allowed us to automate repetitive tasks such as sending LinkedIn connections and messages, in addition to significantly improving contact flows. Our sales executives gained a lot of time.
Reply.io has become our go-to tool for day to day email marketing, offering seamless automation that has significantly streamlined our communication process with leads. The robust metrics offered have been instrumental in shaping our communication strategy, allowing us to optimize our outreach for maximum impact. Reply.io has an exceptional support team always ready to assist promptly.
More options for Customization in emails could be improved, with more options for if, &, else cases.
Automating communication with potential leads, as well as the follow-ups, and keeping track of each sequence we create to get outcomes of each one.
