Easy ability to see all texts and calls in Dashboard!
Access to the recording side is not very easy to use, you have to log into each call to access the recording.
Call tracking as an SDR, very helpful when having to create accountability for different metrics.
Ease of use. Waiting for my carrier to accept the port. I have a work phone and to save some monthly costs I'm going to use OpenPhone keeping my personal number. Also fantastic that I can text!
I haven't fully tested android auto but I did not see the open phone app on my dashboard. Not a deal breaker.
Coat savings. Also love that it syncs my google contacts.
App doesn't crash and it has the record button aswell.
It doesn't yet give option to forward calls from data to carrier while dialing.
The most imp benefit id that i can use two numbers at the same time instead of using two separate phones.
Simple and easy sign up process. Good price. Good customer service. Open Phone also syncs all of your contacts so it is just easy...
Not sure yet. Just a little unsure about getting 3rd factor authentications in the future. I haven't tried all of my aps yet that require this but hope it works out.
I moved to France and wanted a way to keep my U.S. phone number without paying a U.S carrier high monthly fees. OpenPhone allows me to have my U.S. number and my new French phone number all on one device. Its been a lifesaver to be able to join long conference calls without huge international fees. All of my business associates and friends can still reach me.
The service works well and is fully integrated on my iPhone therefore I can make and receive calls in the few simple steps I would usually use to make a call.
I don't like that the bank doesn't recognize the number but I can understand that it must be for security reasons.
1) I am connecting to have conversations across North America through a number that is mine. 2)Having the option of my name labelled to the caller ID helps 3)Very cost effective
The most helpful part of OpenPhone is being able to utilize your phone number through a mobile APP or a web application, with just a simple internet connection regardless of where you are in the world.
There is nothing that I dislike about OpenPhone.
I needed to have an affordable solution for access my US phone number via internet . OpenPhone allowed me to utilize my US number while living abroad for a period of time.
Simple to use both on desktop and mobile. Able to create new numbers and assign to team members.
Nothing I know of yet...perhaps availability of more vanity numbers and number selections.
Ability to create new phone numbers for my team, simple and cost effective manner compared to competitors.
- Breathtakingly beautiful, cross-platform software that is functional for both personal and business use-cases. - Responsive, thoughtful, and personalised (i.e. not boilerplate) customer support interactions.
- Slow porting times: 10-12 business days (i.e. 14-18 calendar days) for some numbers — that's the better part of a month. - Calls work immediately after porting, but texting doesn't. Their emails say texting starts working within 24-48 hours, but it took longer than that for me. - Android app doesn't work on Lollipop (5.0/5.1).
- The ability to call and text from any device, be it a computer, a tablet, or a smartphone. - The ability to keep track of contacts and convos and search through them quickly, as if they were email.
OpenPhone's aesthetic is simple and lovely. I also love the fact that you can set up auto-replies for after business hours!
From my understanding, OpenPhone is a relatively new company, so sometimes, customer service requests could take a bit to resolve, but as they grow those gaps will fill in.
Switching from Google Voice, the benefits have been tremendous. Auto-replies have been a game-changer. Aditionally, the team-oriented feature has been helpful in promoting team cohesiveness.
Out of country no additional fee calling
At this moment I currently do not have any dislikes of OpenPhone
This app offers the ability to make and receive USA phone calls outside of country via internet at no additional fee to the monthly subscription. As a small business owner who currently live outside of the US, this has been a lifesaver.
Extremely user friendly with loads of features
The design of the user interface could provide some additional options. Otherwise, no complaints to date.
Receiving and making international calls, while keeping a record of everything.
Excellent user experience and great customer service
nothing yet, everything is working well.
Great option for VOIP service, much better than google voice
The OpenPhone application is easy to use and has worked great for me over the last year or so since I started using it as my primary business number. The call quality is terrific and the features offered are awesome as well. Also, over the last year, they have continued to make improvements that only make the app better. They also have great customer service and anytime I have had questions they have always responded quickly.
I really don't dislike anything about the app. I had an issue every once in a while when I first started using it but as I mentioned above they have continued to make improvements and any issue I ever had was quickly fixed.
I previously used a well-known VOIP application and it was expensive and complicated and I never really enjoyed the experience of using it. OpenPhone has really just made a product that is easy and simple but still delivers great quality at a good price.
It provides group messaging and call recording along with allow multiple numbers in single account.
Need to work with slow internet connectivity.
Benefuted to stay connected with both personal and professional contacts using single app.provide more flexibility in traditional business line.
The customer service to start with is fantastic. They have never given issues with refunds and even refunded me on a bad month of service, no questions asked. I did not even ask for a refund; they gave it. The clarity of service. The recording capabilities Compared to other services, this is the best bang for the buck. The continued development. The owner never sleeps, and he is a hard worker!
Lack of Windows desktop client. No Android features compared to iPhone. This is a colossal failure to not have both Android and iPhone apps that are equally featured. I will never have an Apple product, and it is a massive shortcoming of any company.
They will always recognize a "bug" or call issues and get it fixed post-haste! I am NEVER sitting around waiting to hear from them, no matter what anyone says in a review. I am not being paid to review this service. Even on an basic call plan, the support is fantastic. The integrations and IVR is impressive as well.
We are currently using it in its simplest form. Make dials on accounts that need a little more TLC. It keeps all my contacts in the same spot, so following up is 10x easier than using my cell phone or Hubspot's CRM.
I Haven't found anything I dislike yet. I wish there were more analytics on the basic version, but I understand why it is part of the more premium packages.
No more reps dialing leads on cell phones—the less friction, the better for something tedious like making calls.
The interface is so easy to use and you can add phone numbers and people. Great service and support is just a click away.
Nothing yet...Sorry but I haven't found a dislike yet.
I can stay connected with people and I can call them from anywhere I have a wifi or data connection
The setup is super quick, and I got to even pick my own area code and choose from an extensive list of phone numbers! And it rings my phone just like a real phone call would, with the option to route calls "press 1 for x, 2 for y".
I wish there was a way to set up a phone tree when a call is sent to voicemail, not just at the beginning of a call
I needed to separate my business life from my personal life, becuase I felt uncomfortable giving clients and partners my personal cell number. OpenPhone let me choose a phone number with an LA area code that lives on my phone like a second sim card.
I like that its an internet-based phone. We are moving from a physical office to a hybrid remote office and we were having a hard time with Comcast. We didn't want to instal a modem at our small temporary office nor did we want to sign a three-year contract. OpenPhone's contracts were simple and we really enjoy having it be cloud-based.
I wish the Phone Menu was better. I like having a virtual assistant for our nonprofit. The Phone menu is easy to set up, but it doesn't always work when people call.
We are solving the problem of having employees working all over the state in a hybrid remote office. It has been nice to know that the phone system is adaptable to our changing work environment.
The features & functionality are superb!
Nothing so far. I love it! (The only thing I would suggest is the app dashboard to have more functionality similar to the website access.)
The ability to have multiple phone lines on my phone allowing me to keep work and personal separate.
