It's an intuitive app that helps me store all information and find it just as easily. I've been very happy with this product and look forward to seeing them evolve.
It's got some kinks with the auto-fill functions but nothing terrible. There is also a slight delay when sharing updated passwords that creates some confusion.
A one-source location for all passwords that allows me to deploy information per department and groups.
The ability to securely store and share passwords to shared resources within the firm.
It can be slow for them to update auto-login functionality when websites change.
It allows us to securely share passwords to shared resources (such as the firm's accounts with government agencies) , with the ability to easily revoke access and change passwords when there is turnover.
Dashlane Business, is a sleek and user friendly password management tool. We migrated from LastPass and the management of the platform is far more simplier. Registration was easy and it allowed us to also enable SSO to make user authentication even smoother.
The only negative feedback I've received is Dashlane does not support OTP as LastPass did, which allowed people to use shared accounts and have the OTP authenticator be generated by LastPass.
It aimed to solve: - Being User Friendly. We have a lot of users who don't really understand the importance of keeping passwords safe, even after training sessions. - Easy Administration. One of the drawbacks with LastPass was it's overly complex means of managing departing users. In order for an admin to be able to move or archive a vault, every single user needs to re-authenticate via the browser extension since that admin was elevated. Sounds complex, right? It is. This eats up a license as the vault still exists. Dashlane made it somple - just archive the user and re-assign the passwords.
It's so easy to use on multiple computers. my tablet, my phone. I love the secured notes feature and ability to share them. There isn't anything I don't like about Dashlane. The support available from Dashlane staff is also amazing.
You can't share payment information -such as company cards.
Dashlane makes sharing passwords with co-workers so easy. I don't need to let everyone know when I update a password, I can just do it and continue on. It's also so much easier to have better passwords.
Dashlane provides great peace of mind and security whether using a cell phone or computer. It is a known "zero-knowledge" company. Dashlane provides many options to add layers of security features such as the type of encryption used, multifactor authentication, biometrics, etc.
Recently Dashlane updated its user computer experience from a software application to an internet-based application which I didn't like at first but I have grown to love. Dashlane also came out with an extension for Google Chrome. The two make the user experience wonderful. You can choose how secure you want the application to operate by specifically which sites will auto-fill information.
Some business-related sites require frequent password changes. Dashlane makes this circumstance painless and productive. I'm no longer avoiding business systems.
I like that all of my stored passwords/payment methods are in one place, but can be separated by personal/business.
There isn't anything I dislike about Dashlane.
We've solved the problem of not remembering passwords and getting locked out of account and we're also more secure because we no longer have staff writing down passwords.
Dashlane has an integrated and user-friendly handling
Integration in standard business processes and workflows is still expandable
We now use one password manager worldwide on all platforms, business (and private use)
I love the zero knowledge policy regard accounts. We also appreciate Dashlane's approach to seeking out ways to improve
Early on we had some deployment issues but Dashlane listened to our feedback and correct those issues.
We have truly only seen benefits. Our end user password security has increased dramatically and help us promote a security mind approach in the organization
No need to remember different passwords for each accounts as Dashlane helps to generate unique passwords. I really dread the log in screen of a website until i see the Dashlane icon pop up and i realise i dont have to go through the stress of remembering what password i used. The two-factor authentication with fingerprint recognition makes it easier to log in for personal accounts and we use SSO for business. You can easily share passwords securely as well.
Sometimes Dashlane doesnt recognize password fields on websites, but if i raise this with Dashlane Support they work to ensure it's added / fixed their side. Sometimes Dashlane doesnt recognise a URL is already stored and saves multiple entries for one website.
Reducing the risk that staff are sharing passwords in an insecure way, or writing them down on notepads / emails etc. With Dashlane I can help take the stress away from staff too by providing them with a tool to manage password easily.
- to collaborate between all the people of my team - to be able to change automatically the passwords - I am storing all of our digital tools on it Dashlane is the only tool I ever used to store passwords, so I can't compare it with competitors.
Maybe having a better overview of each password and all of its collaborators could be helpful. This product could be even better if we could see all of our collaborators and remove access massively.
Mainly security problems. Too many people were storing their passwords on paper or stuff like that. Also, it allows us to use shared accounts easily. I think our business performance increased with it!
The storage is in a very secure cloud, and accessible from anywhere
Some reports are missing to facilitate business management
Dashlane helps me store MFAs, making access even more secure
Ease of use across multiple devices. Having the password generator at your fingertips is a powerful and convenient tool. Also, the password health screen is essential when making sure you don't use the same passwords repeatedly.
When a website allows SSO, Dashlane sometimes gets hung up and tries to bring in an old password instead of the current password. It's easy to resolve but takes some additional steps.
Passwords are the weakest link in Cyber Security. Having Dashlane in our toolbox allows our users to strengthen their passwords, making the organization and their accounts much safer.
I like that you can integrate dashlane with google and use it to directly sign into all of the different applications and tools that I use, without having to remember offhand every password.
Sometimes it can be a bit clunky and the plugin has to be deleted and reinstalled when it doesn't work, but overall it runs smoothly with very few errors, and having solid encryption is a big plus.
The problem we are solving is saving time managing passwords across dozens of the enterprise applications we use, we also have an administrator that manages our systems so having a single access point that she is able to view and manage our passwords was necessary. We have been able to accomplish all of the goals that we needed.
The application is simple, intuitive, compatible with most mainstream browsers. It is portable, which means it can be used anywhere and on any computer. The application works on android and IOS devices as well.
The app needs to be kept fully up to date with web browser changes as updates occur. Once in a while a browser update causes the app to malfunction, but this is a rare event.
It has reduced user password confusion. As well as improving password security - those notes under the keyboard or ON THE MONITOR with passwords have disappeared.
Dashlane keeps the passwords safe while simultaneously allowing easy access to those passwords. It also allows the users to store credit cards and notes securely. What's more - the business version also comes with VPN services. Finally, the mobile app provides seamless access to all your sensitive info while keeping everything secure. Collectively all of these functions make Dashlane stand out from the rest of the password managers.
Not having a 2FA authenticator function built-in. However, the password manager along with the VPN does a solid job of securing your internet traffic while keeping your sensitive info secure.
1. Time saved by autofilling passwords 2. Time saved by password change option 3. Security dashboard shows your re-used and compromised passwords 4. Sharing passwords securely with your team is super easy. No more sharing passwords via emails or post-its
The versatility and the easy to use app.
When you are forced to change password in site such as gmail, Dashlane does not work properly and the password doesn't get updatedé
securing password
The sharing feature is my favorite most used tool in Dashlane.
I wish it would keep you logged in for a longer time rather than having to sign in so many times.
I work in consulting, and sharing login information securely with my clients has saved a ton of time and headache.
Dashlane has gotten a lot better at the speed of which its extension works across websites. I also appreciate the updates to how account recovery gets enabled by users
Resetting dashlane or the "forgor password" doc that opens up is very hard for our users to understand.
Security
How the app allows me to 1.) quickly sign into websites, and 2.) protects and provides more security for passwords.
INitially, the product was difficult to roll out. Specifically, there was some confusion about the installed Dashlane app versus the web extension.
Increased security is one solved problem. Another includes the efficiency with logging into sites.
Easy to use but on a base that prioritises security
Want an ability to separate auto-login from autofill on sites where we enter customer data
Number 1: Enhance cybersecurity for our business. Number 2: Make it easier for our staff to operate in a digital world.
